- Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

- 「あなたがたは， 心を ¿がせないがよい． 神を 信じ， またわたしを 信じなさい．
- わたしの 父の 家には， すまいがたくさんある． もしなかったならば， わたしはそう 言っておいたであろう． あなたがたのために， 場所を 用意しに 行くのだから．
- そして， 行って， 場所の 用意ができたならば， またきて， あなたがたをわたしのところに 迎えよう． わたしのおる 所にあなたがたもおらせるためである．
- わたしがどこへ 行くのか， その 道はあなたがたにわかっている 」．
- トマス は イエス に 言った， 「主よ， どこへおいでになるのか， わたしたちにはわかりません． どうしてその 道がわかるでしょう 」．

- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
- If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
- Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
- Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
- Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

- イエス は 彼に 言われた， 「わたしは 道であり， 眞理であり， 命である． だれでもわたしによらないでは， 父のみもとに 行くことはできない．
- もしあなたがたがわたしを 知っていたならば， わたしの 父をも 知ったであろう． しかし， 今は 父を 知っており， またすでに 父を 見たのである 」．
- ピリポ は イエス に 言った， 「主よ， わたしたちに 父を 示して 下さい． そうして 下されば， わたしたちは 滿足します 」．
- イエス は 彼に 言われた， 「ピリポ よ， こんなに 長くあなたがたと 一緖にいるのに， わたしがわかっていないのか． わたしを 見た 者は， 父を 見たのである． どうして， わたしたちに 父を 示してほしいと， 言うのか．
- わたしが 父におり， 父がわたしにおられることをあなたは 信じないのか． わたしがあなたがたに 話している 言葉は， 自分から 話しているのではない． 父がわたしのうちにおられて， みわざをなさっているのである．

- Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
- If ye love me, keep my commandments.

- わたしが 父におり， 父がわたしにおられることを 信じなさい． もしそれが 信じられないならば， わざそのものによって 信じなさい．
- よくよくあなたがたに 言っておく． わたしを 信じる 者は， またわたしのしているわざをするであろう． そればかりか， もっと 大きいわざをするであろう． わたしが 父のみもとに 行くからである．
- わたしの 名によって 願うことは， なんでもかなえてあげよう． 父が 子によって 榮光をお 受けになるためである．
- 何事でもわたしの 名によって 願うならば， わたしはそれをかなえてあげよう．
- もしあなたがたがわたしを 愛するならば， わたしのいましめを 守るべきである．
