- The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
- Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the LORD out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
- Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
- So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
- And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

- さて， 一週の 初めの 日に， 朝早くまだ 暗いうちに， マグダラ の マリヤ が 墓に 行くと， 墓から 石がとりのけてあるのを 見た．
- そこで 走って， シモン · ペテロ と イエス が 愛しておられた， もうひとりの 弟子のところへ 行って， 彼らに 言った， 「だれかが， 主を 墓から 取り 去りました． どこへ 置いたのか， わかりません 」．
- そこで ペテロ ともうひとりの 弟子は 出かけて， 墓へむかって 行った．
- ふたりは 一緖に 走り 出したが， そのもうひとりの 弟子の 方が， ペテロ よりも 早く 走って 先に 墓に 着き，
- そして 身をかがめてみると， 亞麻布がそこに 置いてあるのを 見たが， 中へははいらなかった．

- Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,
- And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
- Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
- For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
- Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.

- シモン · ペテロ も 續いてきて， 墓の 中にはいった． 彼は 亞麻布がそこに 置いてあるのを 見たが，
- イエス の 頭に 卷いてあった 布は 亞麻布のそばにはなくて， はなれた 別の 場所にくるめてあった．
- すると， 先に 墓に 着いたもうひとりの 弟子もはいってきて， これを 見て 信じた．
- しかし， 彼らは 死人のうちから イエス がよみがえるべきことをしるした 聖句を， まだ 悟っていなかった．
- それから， ふたりの 弟子たちは 自分の 家に 歸って 行った．

- But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
- And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
- And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my LORD, and I know not where they have laid him.
- And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
- Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

- しかし， マリヤ は 墓の 外に 立って 泣いていた． そして 泣きながら， 身をかがめて 墓の 中をのぞくと，
- 白い 衣を 着たふたりの 御使が， イエス の 死體のおかれていた 場所に， ひとりは 頭の 方に， ひとりは 足の 方に， すわっているのを 見た．
- すると， 彼らは マリヤ に， 「女よ， なぜ 泣いているのか 」と 言った． マリヤ は 彼らに 言った， 「だれかが， わたしの 主を 取り 去りました． そして， どこに 置いたのか， わからないのです 」．
- そう 言って， うしろをふり 向くと， そこに イエス が 立っておられるのを 見た． しかし， それが イエス であることに 氣がつかなかった．
- イエス は 女に 言われた， 「女よ， なぜ 泣いているのか． だれを 搜しているのか 」． マリヤ は， その 人が 園の 番人だと 思って 言った， 「もしあなたが， あのかたを 移したのでしたら， どこへ 置いたのか， どうぞ， おっしゃって 下さい． わたしがそのかたを 引き 取ります 」．

- Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
- Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
- Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the LORD, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
- Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
- And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the LORD.

- イエス は 彼女に「マリヤ よ 」と 言われた． マリヤ はふり 返って， イエス にむかって ヘブル 語で「ラボニ 」と 言った． それは， 先生という 意味である．
- イエス は 彼女に 言われた， 「わたしにさわってはいけない． わたしは， まだ 父のみもとに 上っていないのだから． ただ， わたしの 兄弟たちの 所に 行って， 『わたしは， わたしの 父またあなたがたの 父であって， わたしの 神またあなたがたの 神であられるかたのみもとへ 上って 行く 』と， 彼らに 傳えなさい 」．
- マグダラ の マリヤ は 弟子たちのところに 行って， 自分が 主に 會ったこと， また イエス がこれこれのことを 自分に 仰せになったことを， 報告した．
- その 日， すなわち， 一週の 初めの 日の 夕方， 弟子たちは ユダヤ 人をおそれて， 自分たちのおる 所の 戶をみなしめていると， イエス がはいってきて， 彼らの 中に 立ち， 「安かれ 」と 言われた．
- そう 言って， 手とわきとを， 彼らにお 見せになった． 弟子たちは 主を 見て 喜んだ．

- Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
- And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
- Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

- イエス はまた 彼らに 言われた， 「安かれ． 父がわたしをおつかわしになったように， わたしもまたあなたがたをつかわす 」．
- そう 言って， 彼らに 息を 吹きかけて 仰せになった， 「聖靈を 受けよ．
- あなたがたがゆるす 罪は， だれの 罪でもゆるされ， あなたがたがゆるさずにおく 罪は， そのまま 殘るであろう 」．
