- The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
- Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
- So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
- Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.

- われらのよわいは 七十年にすぎません． あるいは 健やかであっても 八十年でしょう． しかしその 一生はただ， ほねおりと 惱みであって， その 過ぎゆくことは 速く， われらは 飛び 去るのです．
- だれがあなたの 怒りの 力を 知るでしょうか． だれがあなたをおそれる 恐れにしたがって ／あなたの 憤りを 知るでしょうか．
- われらにおのが 日を 數えることを 敎えて， 知惠の 心を 得させてください．
- 主よ， み 心を 變えてください． いつまでお 怒りになるのですか． あなたのしもべをあわれんでください．
- あしたに， あなたのいつくしみをもって ／われらを 飽き 足らせ， 世を 終るまで 喜び 樂しませてください．
