역대상

  본서는 이스라엘 왕국의 영광스런 역사를 회고하고, 하나님과의 언약을 강조함으로써 귀환민들에게 하나님 백성으로서의 정체성과 희망을 주기 위하여 기록되었다. 예루살렘 멸망 후 70년 동안 바벨론 포로 생활을 한 이스라엘 백성들은 새로운 신앙 공동체로 묶어 줄 수 있는 영적 기반이 필요했던 것이다.

  1장부터 9장까지는 아담으로부터 아브라함, 다윗, 바벨론 포로 귀환민에 이르는 족보를 개략적으로 기록함으로써 하나님의 선택과 보호하심을 소개하였다. 10장부터 29장까지는 하나님의 언약에 기초한 다윗의 통치를 기록하고 있다.

 

 

역대상 1:1-2:17

 아담으로부터 시작하여 노아, 아브라함, 야곱과 그의 아들들, 그리고 유다에서 다윗에 이르는 족보가 기록되어 있다.
  
  아담에서 야곱까지의 족보(1:1-1:54)    
 
  1. Adam, Sheth, Enosh,
  2. Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered,
  3. Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,
  4. Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
  5. The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
  1. アダム ， セツ ， エノス ，
  2. ケナン ， マハラレル ， ヤレド ，
  3. エノク ， メトセラ ， ラメク ，
  4. ノア ， セム ， ハム ， ヤペテ ．

  1. And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
  2. And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
  3. The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
  4. And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
  5. And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.
  1. ゴメル の 子らは アシケナズ ， デパテ ， トガルマ ．
  2. ヤワン の 子らは エリシャ ， タルシシ ， キッテム ， ロダニム ．
  3. ハム の 子らは クシ ， エジプト ， プテ ， カナン ．
  4. クシ の 子らは セバ ， ハビラ ， サブタ ， ラアマ ， サブテカ ． ラアマ の 子らは シバ と デダン ．
  5. クシ は ニムロデ を 生んだ． ニムロデ は 初めて 世の 權力ある 者となった．
  1. And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
  2. And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.
  3. And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
  4. The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
  5. And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
  1. エジプト は ルデ びと， アナム びと， レハブ びと， ナフト びと，
  2. パテロス びと， カスル びと， カフトル びとを 生んだ． カフトル びとから ペリシテ びとが 出た．
  3. カナン は 長子 シドン と ヘテ を 生んだ．

  1. And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
  2. The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
  3. And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
  4. And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.
  5. And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
  1. アルワデ びと， ゼマリ びと， ハマテ びとを 生んだ．
  2. セム の 子らは エラム ， アシュル ， アルパクサデ ， ルデ ， アラム ， ウズ ， ホル ， ゲテル ， メセク である．
  3. アルパクサデ は シラ を 生み， シラ は エベル を 生んだ．
  4. エベル にふたりの 子が 生れた． ひとりの 名は ペレグ ――彼の 代に 地の 民が 散り 分れたからである ――その 弟の 名は ヨクタン といった．
  5. ヨクタン は アルモダデ ， シャレフ ， ハザル · マウテ ， エラ ，
  1. Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,
  2. And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
  3. And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
  4. Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
  5. Eber, Peleg, Reu,
  1. ハドラム ， ウザル ， デクラ ，
  2. エバル ， アビマエル ， シバ ，
  3. オフル ， ハビラ ， ヨバブ を 生んだ． これらはみな ヨクタン の 子である．

  1. Serug, Nahor, Terah,
  2. Abram; the same is Abraham.
  3. The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.
  4. These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
  5. Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
  1. セルグ ， ナホル ， テラ ，
  2. アブラム すなわち アブラハム である．
  3. アブラハム の 子らは イサク と イシマエル である．
  4. 彼らの 子孫は 次のとおりである． イシマエル の 長子は ネバヨテ ， 次は ケダル ， アデビエル ， ミブサム ，
  5. ミシマ ， ドマ ， マッサ ， ハダデ ， テマ ，
  1. Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
  2. Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.
  3. And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.
  4. And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.
  5. The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
  1. エトル ， ネフシ ， ケデマ ． これらは イシマエル の 子孫である．
  2. アブラハム のそばめ ケトラ の 子孫は 次のとおりである． 彼女は ジムラン ， ヨクシャン ， メダン ， ミデアン ， イシバク ， シュワ を 産んだ． ヨクシャン の 子らは シバ と デダン である．
  3. ミデアン の 子らは エパ ， エペル ， ヘノク ， アビダ ， エルダア ． これらはみな ケトラ の 子孫である．

  1. The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
  2. The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
  3. And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.
  4. And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.
  5. The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. and the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.
  1. エリパズ の 子らは テマン ， オマル ， ゼピ ， ガタム ， ケナズ ， テムナ ， アマレク ．
  2. リウエル の 子らは ナハテ ， ゼラ ， シャンマ ， ミッザ ．
  3. セイル の 子らは ロタン ， ショバル ， ヂベオン ， アナ ， デション ， エゼル ， デシャン ．
  4. ロタン の 子らは ホリ と ホマム ． ロタン の 妹は テムナ ．
  5. ショバル の 子らは アルヤン ， マナハテ ， エバル ， シピ ， オナム ． ヂベオン の 子らは アヤ と アナ ．
  1. The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
  2. The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.
  3. Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
  4. And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
  5. And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
  1. アナ の 子は デション ． デション の 子らは ハムラン ， エシバン ， イテラン ， ケラン ．
  2. エゼル の 子らは ビルハン ， ザワン ， ヤカン ． デシャン の 子らは ウズ と アラン ．
  3. イスラエル の 人¿を 治める 王がまだなかった 時， エドム の 地を 治めた 王たちは 次のとおりである． ベオル の 子 ベラ ． その 都の 名は デナバ といった．
  4. ベラ が 死んで， ボズラ の ゼラ の 子 ヨバブ が 代って 王となった．
  5. ヨバブ が 死んで， テマン びとの 地の ホシャム が 代って 王となった．
  1. And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
  2. And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
  3. And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
  4. And when Shaul was dead, Baalhanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
  5. And when Baalhanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
  1. ホシャム が 死んで， ベダテ の 子 ハダデ が 代って 王となった． 彼は モアブ の 野で ミデアン を 擊った． 彼の 都の 名は アビテ といった．
  2. ハダデ が 死んで， マスレカ の サムラ が 代って 王となった．
  3. サムラ が 死んで， ユフラテ 川のほとりの レホボテ の サウル が 代って 王となった．
  4. サウル が 死んで， アクボル の 子 バアル · ハナン が 代って 王となった．
  5. バアル · ハナン が 死んで， ハダデ が 代って 王となった． 彼の 都の 名は パイ といった． 彼の 妻は マテレデ の 娘であって， 名を メヘタベル といった． マテレデ は メザハブ の 娘である．
  1. Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,
  2. Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
  3. Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
  4. Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
  1. ハダデ も 死んだ． エドム の 族長は， テムナ 侯， アルヤ 侯， エテテ 侯，
  2. アホリバマ 侯， エラ 侯， ピノン 侯，
  3. ケナズ 侯， テマン 侯， ミブザル 侯，
  4. マグデエル 侯， イラム 侯． これらは エドム の 族長である．
 
  다윗의 족보(2:1-2:17)    
 
  1. These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
  2. Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
  3. The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD; and he slew him.
  4. And Tamar his daughter in law bore him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
  5. The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.
  1. イスラエル の 子らは 次のとおりである． ルベン ， シメオン ， レビ ， ユダ ， イッサカル ， ゼブルン ，
  2. ダン ， ヨセフ ， ベニヤミン ， ナフタリ ， ガド ， アセル ．
  3. ユダ の 子らは エル ， オナン ， シラ である． この 三人は カナン の 女 バテシュア が ユダ によって 産んだ 者である． ユダ の 長子 エル は 主の 前に 惡を 行ったので， 主は 彼を 殺された．
  4. ユダ の 嫁 タマル は ユダ によって ペレヅ と ゼラ を 産んだ． ユダ の 子らは 合わせて 五人である．
  5. ペレヅ の 子らは ヘヅロン と ハムル ．
  1. And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
  2. And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.
  3. And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.
  4. The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
  5. And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
  1. ゼラ の 子らは ジムリ ， エタン ， ヘマン ， カルコル ， ダラ で， 合わせて 五人である．
  2. カルミ の 子は アカル ． アカル は 奉納物について 罪を 犯し， イスラエル を 惱ました 者である．
  3. エタン の 子は アザリヤ である．
  4. ヘヅロン に 生れた 子らは エラメル ， ラム ， ケルバイ である．
  5. ラム は アミナダブ を 生み， アミナダブ は ユダ の 子孫のつかさ ナション を 生んだ．
  1. And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
  2. And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,
  3. And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
  4. Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
  5. Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:
  1. ナション は サルマ を 生み， サルマ は ボアズ を 生み，
  2. ボアズ は オベデ を 生み， オベデ は エッサイ を 生んだ．
  3. エッサイ は 長子 エリアブ ， 次に アビナダブ ， 第三に シメア ，
  4. 第四に ネタンエル ， 第五に ラダイ ，
  5. 第六に オゼム ， 第七に ダビデ を 生んだ．
  1. Whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.
  2. And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.
  1. 彼らの 姉妹は ゼルヤ と アビガイル である． ゼルヤ の 産んだ 子は アビシャイ ， ヨアブ ， アサヘル の 三人である．
  2. アビガイル は アマサ を 産んだ． アマサ の 父は イシマエル びと エテル である．
