	역대상 26:1-27:34 다윗은 성전 문지기와 창고지기, 그리고 치안이나 재판, 행정 일을 맡아 볼 일꾼들을 임명하였다. 이어 국방 강화를 위해 열두 개의 상비군을 조직하고 각 지파마다 행정 장관을 배정하였으며, 왕실 재정 관리자들과 왕의 보좌관들을 각각 임명하고 직임을 맡겼다.

	성전 문지기, 창고지기, 유사(26:1-26:32)

Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.

And the sons of Meshelemiah were, Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.

Moreover the sons of Obededom were, Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth.

Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.

門を守る者の組は次のとおりである．すなわちコラびとのうちでは，アサフの子孫のうちのコレの子メシレミヤ．

メシレミヤの子たちは，長子はゼカリヤ，次はエデアエル，第三はゼバデヤ，第四はヤテニエル，

第五はエラム，第六はヨハナン，第七はエリヨエナイである．

オベデ · エドムの子たちは，長子はシマヤ，次はヨザバデ，第三はヨア，第四はサカル，第五はネタネル，

第六はアンミエル，第七はイッサカル，第八はピウレタイである．神が彼を祝福されたからである．

Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour.

The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.

All these of the sons of Obededom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, were threescore and two of Obededom.

And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.

Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)

彼の子シマヤにも數人の子が生れ，有能な人¿であったので，その父の家を治める者となった．

すなわちシマヤの子たちはオテニ，レパエル，オベデ，エルザバデで，エルザバデの兄弟エリウとセマキヤは力ある人¿であった．

これらは皆オベデ · エドムの子孫である．彼らはその子たちおよびその兄弟たちと共にその勤めに適した力ある人¿で，合わせて六十二人，みなオベデ · エドムに屬する者である．

メシレミヤにも子たちと兄弟たち合わせて十八人あって，皆力ある人¿であった．

メラリの子孫ホサにも子たちがあった．そのかしらはシムリ，これは長子ではなかったが，父はこれをかしらにしたのであった．

Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.

Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.

And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.

And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.

To Obededom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.

次はヒルキヤ，第三はテバリヤ，第四はゼカリヤである．ホサの子たちと兄弟たちは合わせて十三人である．

これらは門を守る者の組の長たる人¿であって，その兄弟たちと同樣に務をなして，主の宮に仕えた．

彼らはそれぞれ門のために小なる者も，大なる者も等しく，その氏族にしたがってくじを引いた．

東の門のくじはシレミヤに當った．また彼の子で思慮深い議士ゼカリヤのためにくじを引いたが，北の門のくじがこれに當った．

オベデ · エドムには南の門のくじ，その子たちには倉のくじ，

To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.

Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.

At Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.

These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.

And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.

シュパムとホサには西の門のくじが當った．これは坂の大路にあるシャレケテの門のかたわらにあった．守る者と守る者とが相對していた．

東の方には每日六人，北の方には每日四人，南の方には每日四人，倉には二人と二人，

西の方パルバルには大路に四人，パルバルに二人．

門を守る者の組は以上のとおりで，コラの子孫とメラリの子孫であった．

レビびとのうちアヒヤは神の宮の倉および聖なる物の倉をつかさどった．

As concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, were Jehieli.

The sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, which were over the treasures of the house of the LORD.

Of the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:

And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.

And his brethren by Eliezer; Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.

ラダンの子孫すなわちラダンから出たゲルションびとの子孫で，ゲルションびとの氏族の長はエヒエリである．

エヒエリ，ゼタムおよびその兄弟ヨエルの子たちは主の宮の倉をつかさどった．

アムラムびと，イヅハルびと，ヘブロンびと，ウジエルびとのうちでは次のとおりであった．

すなわちモ ― セの子ゲルショムの子シブエルは倉のつかさであった．

その兄弟でエリエゼルから出た者は，その子はレハビヤ，その子はエサヤ，その子はヨラム，その子はジクリ，その子はシロミテである．

Which Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.

Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the LORD.

And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.

Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.

And of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side Jordan westward in all the business of the LORD, and in the service of the king.

このシロミテとその兄弟たちはすべての聖なる物の倉をつかさどった．これはダビデ王と，氏族の長と，千人の長と，百人の長と，軍の長たちのささげたものである．

すなわち彼らが戰いで獲たぶんどり物のうちから主の宮の修繕のためにささげたものである．

またすべて先見者サムエル，キシの子サウル，ネルの子アブネル，ゼルヤの子ヨアブなどがささげた物．すべてこれらのささげ物はシロミテとその兄弟たちが管理した．

イヅハルびとのうちでは，ケナニヤとその子たちが，つかさおよびさばきびととしてイスラエルの外事のために選ばれた．

ヘブロンびとのうちでは，ハシャビヤおよびその兄弟など勇士千七百人があって，ヨルダンのこなた，すなわち西の方でイスラエルの監督となり，主のすべての事を行い，王に奉仕した．

Among the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.

And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.

ヘブロンびとのうちでは，系圖と氏族によってエリヤがヘブロンびとの長であったが，ダビデの治世の第四十年に彼らを尋ね求め，ギレアデのヤゼルで彼らのうちから大勇士を得た．

ダビデ王は彼とその兄弟など氏族の長たち二千七百人の勇士をルベンびと，ガドびと，マナセびとの半部族の監督となし，すべて神につける事と王の事とをつかさどらせた．

	군대 및 행정 조직(27:1-27:34)

Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.

Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.

And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.

The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

イスラエルの子孫のうちで氏族の長，千人の長，百人の長，およびつかさたちは年のすべての月の間，月ごとに交替して組のすべての事をなして王に仕えたが，その數にしたがえば各組二万四千人あった．

まず第一の組すなわち正月の分はザブデエルの子ヤショベアムがこれを率いた．その組には二万四千人あった．

彼はペレヅの子孫で，正月の軍團のすべての將たちのかしらであった．

二月の組はアホアびとドダイがこれを率いた．その組には二万四千人あった．

三月の第三の將は祭司エホヤダの子ベナヤが長であって，その組には二万四千人あった．

This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.

The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

このベナヤはかの三十人のうちの勇士であって三十人を率い，その子アミザバデがその組にあった．

四月の第四の將はヨアブの兄弟アサヘルであって，その子ゼバデヤがこれに次いだ．その組には二万四千人あった．

五月の第五の將はイズラヒびとシャンモテであって，その組には二万四千人あった．

六月の第六の將はテコアびとイッケシの子イラであって，その組には二万四千人あった．

七月の第七の將はエフライムの子孫であるペロンびとヘレヅであって，その組には二万四千人あった．

The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anetothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

八月の第八の將はゼラびとの子孫であるホシャびとシベカイであって，その組には二万四千人あった．

九月の第九の將はベニヤミンの子孫であるアナトテびとアビエゼルであって，その組には二万四千人あった．

十月の第十の將はゼラびとの子孫であるネトパびとマハライであって，その組には二万四千人あった．

十一月の第十一の將はエフライムの子孫であるピラトンびとベナヤであって，その組には二万四千人あった．

十二月の第十二の將はオテニエルの子孫であるネトパびとヘルダイであって，その組には二万四千人あった．

Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:

Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok:

Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:

Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel:

Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:

なおイスラエルの部族を治める者たちは次のとおりである．ルベンびとのつかさはヂクリの子エリエゼル．シメオンびとのつかさはマアカの子シパテヤ．

レビびとのつかさはケムエルの子ハシャビヤ．アロンびとのつかさはザドク．

ユダのつかさはダビデの兄弟のひとりエリウ．イッサカルのつかさはミカエルの子オムリ．

ゼブルンのつかさはオバデヤの子イシマヤ．ナフタリのつかさはアズリエルの子エレモテ．

エフライムの子孫のつかさはアザジヤの子ホセア．マナセの半部族のつかさはペダヤの子ヨエル．

Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:

Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.

But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.

Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.

And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:

ギレアデにあるマナセの半部族のつかさはゼカリヤの子イド．ベニヤミンのつかさはアブネルの子ヤシエル．

ダンのつかさはエロハムの子アザリエル．これらはイスラエルの部族のつかさたちであった．

しかしダビデは二十歲以下の者は數えなかった．主がかつてイスラエルを天の星のように多くすると言われたからである．

ゼルヤの子ヨアブは數え始めたが，これをなし終えなかった．その數えることによって怒りがイスラエルの上に臨んだ．またその數はダビデ王の歷代志に載せなかった．

アデエルの子アズマウテは王の倉をつかさどり，ウジヤの子ヨナタンは田野，町¿，村¿，もろもろの塔にある倉をつかさどり，

And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:

And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:

And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baalhanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:

And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:

Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:

ケルブの子エズリは地を耕す農夫をつかさどり，

ラマテびとシメイはぶどう畑をつかさどり，シプミびとザブデはぶどう畑から取ったぶどう酒の倉をつかさどり，

ゲデルびとバアル · ハナンは平野のオリブの木といちじく桑の木をつかさどり，ヨアシは油の倉をつかさどり，

シャロンびとシテライはシャロンで飼う牛の群れをつかさどり，アデライの子シャパテはもろもろの谷におる牛の群れをつかさどり，

イシマエルびとオビルはらくだをつかさどり，メロノテびとエデヤはろばをつかさどり，

And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David's.

Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons:

And Ahithophel was the king's counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was the king's companion:

And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king's army was Joab.

ハガルびとヤジズは羊の群れをつかさどった．彼らは皆ダビデ王の財産のつかさであった．

またダビデのおじヨナタンは議官で，知惠ある人であり，學者であった．また彼とハクモニの子エヒエルは王の子たちの補佐であった．

アヒトペルは王の議官．アルキびとホシャイは王の友であった．

アヒトペルに次ぐ者はベナヤの子エホヤダおよびアビヤタル．王の軍の長はヨアブであった．
