로마서 6:1-6:23

 바울은 그리스도와 연합함으로써 이미 죄에 대하여 ‘죽은 자’는 이제 그리스도와 함께 다시 ‘산 자’라고 하면서, 이제 자신을 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살리신 하나님께 의의 병기로 드리라고 하였다.
  
  성화의 원리(6:1-6:11)    
 
  1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
  2. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
  3. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
  4. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
  5. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
  1. では， わたしたちは， なんと 言おうか． 惠みが 增し 加わるために， 罪にとどまるべきであろうか．
  2. 斷じてそうではない． 罪に 對して 死んだわたしたちが， どうして， なお， その 中に 生きておれるだろうか．
  3. それとも， あなたがたは 知らないのか． キリスト · イエス にあずかる バプテスマ を 受けたわたしたちは， 彼の 死にあずかる バプテスマ を 受けたのである．
  4. すなわち， わたしたちは， その 死にあずかる バプテスマ によって， 彼と 共に 葬られたのである． それは， キリスト が 父の 榮光によって， 死人の 中からよみがえらされたように， わたしたちもまた， 新しいいのちに 生きるためである．
  5. もしわたしたちが， 彼に 結びついてその 死の 樣にひとしくなるなら， さらに， 彼の 復活の 樣にもひとしくなるであろう．
  1. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
  2. For he that is dead is freed from sin.
  3. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
  4. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
  5. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
  1. わたしたちは， この 事を 知っている． わたしたちの 內の 古き 人は キリスト と 共に 十字架につけられた． それは， この 罪のからだが 滅び， わたしたちがもはや， 罪の 奴隷となることがないためである．
  2. それは， すでに 死んだ 者は， 罪から 解放されているからである．
  3. もしわたしたちが， キリスト と 共に 死んだなら， また 彼と 共に 生きることを 信じる．
  4. キリスト は 死人の 中からよみがえらされて， もはや 死ぬことがなく， 死はもはや 彼を 支配しないことを， 知っているからである．
  5. なぜなら， キリスト が 死んだのは， ただ 一度罪に 對して 死んだのであり， キリスト が 生きるのは， 神に 生きるのだからである．
  1. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  1. このように， あなたがた 自身も， 罪に 對して 死んだ 者であり， キリスト · イエス にあって 神に 生きている 者であることを， 認むべきである．
 
  실천적 권면(6:12-6:23)    
 
  1. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
  2. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
  3. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
  4. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
  5. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
  1. だから， あなたがたの 死ぬべきからだを 罪の 支配にゆだねて， その 情欲に 從わせることをせず，
  2. また， あなたがたの 肢體を 不義の 武器として 罪にささげてはならない． むしろ， 死人の 中から 生かされた 者として， 自分自身を 神にささげ， 自分の 肢體を 義の 武器として 神にささげるがよい．
  3. なぜなら， あなたがたは 律法の 下にあるのではなく， 惠みの 下にあるので， 罪に 支配されることはないからである．
  4. それでは， どうなのか． 律法の 下にではなく， 惠みの 下にあるからといって， わたしたちは 罪を 犯すべきであろうか． 斷じてそうではない．
  5. あなたがたは 知らないのか． あなたがた 自身が， だれかの 僕になって 服從するなら， あなたがたは 自分の 服從するその 者の 僕であって， 死に 至る 罪の 僕ともなり， あるいは， 義にいたる 從順の 僕ともなるのである．
  1. But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
  2. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
  3. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
  4. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
  5. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
  1. しかし， 神は 感謝すべきかな． あなたがたは 罪の 僕であったが， 傳えられた 敎の 基準に 心から 服從して，
  2. 罪から 解放され， 義の 僕となった．
  3. わたしは 人間的な 言い 方をするが， それは， あなたがたの 肉の 弱さのゆえである． あなたがたは， かつて 自分の 肢體を 汚れと 不法との 僕としてささげて 不法に 陷ったように， 今や 自分の 肢體を 義の 僕としてささげて， きよくならねばならない．
  4. あなたがたが 罪の 僕であった 時は， 義とは 緣のない 者であった．
  5. その 時あなたがたは， どんな 實を 結んだのか． それは， 今では 恥とするようなものであった． それらのものの 終極は， 死である．
  1. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
  2. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  1. しかし 今や， あなたがたは 罪から 解放されて 神に 仕え， きよきに 至る 實を 結んでいる． その 終極は 永遠のいのちである．
  2. 罪の 支拂う 報酬は 死である． しかし 神の 賜物は， わたしたちの 主 キリスト · イエス における 永遠のいのちである．
