- Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
- Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
- Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
- As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
- As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.

- その 父たちの 不義は 主のみ 前に 覺えられ， その 母の 罪を 消し 去らないでください．
- それらを 常に 主のみ 前に 置き， 彼の 記憶を 地から 斷ってください．
- これは 彼がいつくしみを 施すことを 思わず， かえって 貧しい 者， 乏しい 者を 責め， 心の 痛める 者を 殺そうとしたからです．
- 彼はのろうことを 好んだ． のろいを 彼に 臨ませてください． 彼は 惠むことを 喜ばなかった． 惠みを 彼から 遠ざけてください．
- 彼はのろいを 衣のように 着た． のろいを 水のようにその 身にしみこませ， 油のようにその 骨にしみこませてください．

- Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
- Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
- But do thou for me, O GOD the Lord, for thy name's sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.

- またそれを 自分の 着る 着物のようにならせ， 常に 締める 帶のようにならせてください．
- これがわたしを 非難する 者と， わたしに 逆らって 惡いことを 言う 者の ／主からうける 報いとしてください．
- しかし， わが 主なる 神よ， あなたはみ 名のために， わたしを 顧みてください． あなたのいつくしみの 深きにより， わたしをお 助けください．
- わたしは 貧しく， かつ 乏しいのです． わたしの 心はわがうちに 傷ついています．
- わたしは 夕日の 影のように 去りゆき， いなごのように 追い 拂われます．

- My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness.
- I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads.
