- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
- For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
- For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
- That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
- For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

- こういうわけで， 今や キリスト · イエス にある 者は 罪に 定められることがない．
- なぜなら， キリスト · イエス にあるいのちの 御靈の 法則は， 罪と 死との 法則からあなたを 解放したからである．
- 律法が 肉により 無力になっているためになし 得なかった 事を， 神はなし 遂げて 下さった． すなわち， 御子を， 罪の 肉の 樣で 罪のためにつかわし， 肉において 罪を 罰せられたのである．
- これは 律法の 要求が， 肉によらず 靈によって 步くわたしたちにおいて， 滿たされるためである．
- なぜなら， 肉に 從う 者は 肉のことを 思い， 靈に 從う 者は 靈のことを 思うからである．

- For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
- Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
- And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

- 肉の 思いは 死であるが， 靈の 思いは， いのちと 平安とである．
- なぜなら， 肉の 思いは 神に 敵するからである． すなわち， それは 神の 律法に 從わず， 否， 從い 得ないのである．
- また， 肉にある 者は， 神を 喜ばせることができない．
- しかし， 神の 御靈があなたがたの 內に 宿っているなら， あなたがたは 肉におるのではなく， 靈におるのである． もし， キリスト の 靈を 持たない 人がいるなら， その 人は キリスト のものではない．
- もし， キリスト があなたがたの 內におられるなら， からだは 罪のゆえに 死んでいても， 靈は 義のゆえに 生きているのである．

- But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
- Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
- For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
- For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

- もし， イエス を 死人の 中からよみがえらせたかたの 御靈が， あなたがたの 內に 宿っているなら， キリスト · イエス を 死人の 中からよみがえらせたかたは， あなたがたの 內に 宿っている 御靈によって， あなたがたの 死ぬべきからだをも， 生かしてくださるであろう．
- それゆえに， 兄弟たちよ． わたしたちは， 果すべき 責任を 負っている 者であるが， 肉に 從って 生きる 責任を 肉に 對して 負っているのではない．
- なぜなら， もし， 肉に 從って 生きるなら， あなたがたは 死ぬ 外はないからである． しかし， 靈によってからだの ¿きを 殺すなら， あなたがたは 生きるであろう．
- すべて 神の 御靈に 導かれている 者は， すなわち， 神の 子である．
- あなたがたは 再び 恐れをいだかせる 奴隷の 靈を 受けたのではなく， 子たる 身分を 授ける 靈を 受けたのである． その 靈によって， わたしたちは「アバ ， 父よ 」と 呼ぶのである．

- The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
- And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

- 御靈みずから， わたしたちの 靈と 共に， わたしたちが 神の 子であることをあかしして 下さる．
- もし 子であれば， 相續人でもある． 神の 相續人であって， キリスト と 榮光を 共にするために 苦難をも 共にしている 以上， キリスト と 共同の 相續人なのである．
