- Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
- Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
- Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
- If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
- I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

- あなたがたの 中のひとりが， 仲間の 者と 何か 爭いを 起した 場合， それを 聖徒に 訴えないで， 正しくない 者に 訴え 出るようなことをするのか．
- それとも， 聖徒は 世をさばくものであることを， あなたがたは 知らないのか． そして， 世があなたがたによってさばかれるべきであるのに， きわめて 小さい 事件でもさばく 力がないのか．
- あなたがたは 知らないのか， わたしたちは 御使をさえさばく 者である． ましてこの 世の 事件などは， いうまでもないではないか．
- それだのに， この 世の 事件が 起ると， 敎會で 輕んじられている 人たちを， 裁判の 席につかせるのか．
- わたしがこう 言うのは， あなたがたをはずかしめるためである． いったい， あなたがたの 中には， 兄弟の 間の 爭いを 仲裁することができるほどの 知者は， ひとりもいないのか．

- But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
- Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
- Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.
- Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
- Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

- しかるに， 兄弟が 兄弟を 訴え， しかもそれを 不信者の 前に 持ち 出すのか．
- そもそも， 互に 訴え 合うこと 自體が， すでにあなたがたの 敗北なのだ． なぜ， むしろ 不義を 受けないのか． なぜ， むしろだまされていないのか．
- しかるに， あなたがたは 不義を ¿き， だまし 取り， しかも 兄弟に 對してそうしているのである．
- それとも， 正しくない 者が 神の 國をつぐことはないのを， 知らないのか． まちがってはいけない． 不品行な 者， 偶像を 禮拜する 者， 姦淫をする 者， 男娼となる 者， 男色をする 者， 盜む 者，
- ·欲な 者， 酒に 醉う 者， そしる 者， 略奪する 者は， いずれも 神の 國をつぐことはないのである．

- And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
- All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
- Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
- And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
- Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

- あなたがたの 中には， 以前はそんな 人もいた． しかし， あなたがたは， 主 イエス · キリスト の 名によって， またわたしたちの 神の 靈によって， 洗われ， きよめられ， 義とされたのである．
- すべてのことは， わたしに 許されている． しかし， すべてのことが 益になるわけではない． すべてのことは， わたしに 許されている． しかし， わたしは 何ものにも 支配されることはない．
- 食物は 腹のため， 腹は 食物のためである． しかし 神は， それもこれも 滅ぼすであろう． からだは 不品行のためではなく， 主のためであり， 主はからだのためである．
- そして， 神は 主をよみがえらせたが， その 力で， わたしたちをもよみがえらせて 下さるであろう．

- What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
- But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
- Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
- What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
- For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

- それとも， 遊女につく 者はそれと 一つのからだになることを， 知らないのか． 「ふたりの 者は 一體となるべきである 」とあるからである．
- しかし 主につく 者は， 主と 一つの 靈になるのである．
- 不品行を 避けなさい． 人の 犯すすべての 罪は， からだの 外にある． しかし 不品行をする 者は， 自分のからだに 對して 罪を 犯すのである．
- あなたがたは 知らないのか． 自分のからだは， 神から 受けて 自分の 內に 宿っている 聖靈の 宮であって， あなたがたは， もはや 自分自身のものではないのである．
- あなたがたは， 代價を 拂って 買いとられたのだ． それだから， 自分のからだをもって， 神の 榮光をあらわしなさい．
