욥기 10:1-12:25

 욥의 계속되는 한탄 가운데 나아마 사람 소발이 욥의 변명에 대해 공격하였다. 그는 하나님의 전능성을 내세워 하나님 앞에서 깨끗하다는 욥의 고백을 비난하면서 욥이 회개하면 용서를 받지만, 그렇지 않으면 무서운 결과가 올 것이라고 충고하였다. 이에 대하여 욥은 자신이 친구들의 조롱거리가 되었고 자신도 지혜와 명철이 하나님께 속한 것임을 알고 있다고 말하면서 그의 억울함을 호소하였다.
  
  욥의 기도(10:1-10:22)    
 
  1. My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.
  2. I will say unto God, Do not condemn me; shew me wherefore thou contendest with me.
  3. Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thine hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked?
  4. Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth?
  5. Are thy days as the days of man? are thy years as man's days,
  1. わたしは 自分の 命をいとう． わたしは 自分の 嘆きを 包まず 言いあらわし， ／わが 魂の 苦しみによって 語ろう．
  2. わたしは 神に 申そう， ／わたしを 罪ある 者とされないように． なぜわたしと 爭われるかを 知らせてほしい．
  3. あなたはしえたげをなし， み 手のわざを 捨て， ／惡人の 計畵を 照すことを 良しとされるのか．
  4. あなたの 持っておられるのは 肉の 目か， ／あなたは 人が 見るように 見られるのか．
  5. あなたの 日は 人の 日のごとく， ／あなたの 年は 人の 年のようであるのか．
  1. That thou enquirest after mine iniquity, and searchest after my sin?
  2. Thou knowest that I am not wicked; and there is none that can deliver out of thine hand.
  3. Thine hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
  4. Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again?
  5. Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese?
  1. あなたはなにゆえわたしのとがを 尋ね， ／わたしの 罪を 調べられるのか．
  2. あなたはわたしの 罪のないことを 知っておられる． またあなたの 手から 救い 出しうる 者はない．
  3. あなたの 手はわたしをかたどり， わたしを 作った． ところが 今あなたはかえって， わたしを 滅ぼされる．
  4. どうぞ 覺えてください， ／あなたは 土くれをもってわたしを 作られた 事を． ところが， わたしをちりに 返そうとされるのか．
  5. あなたはわたしを 乳のように 注ぎ， ／乾酪のように 凝り 固まらせたではないか．
  1. Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.
  2. Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit.
  3. And these things hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this is with thee.
  4. If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.
  5. If I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;
  1. あなたは 肉と 皮とをわたしに 着せ， ／骨と 筋とをもってわたしを 編み，
  2. 命といつくしみとをわたしに 授け， ／わたしを 顧みてわが 靈を 守られた．
  3. しかしあなたはこれらの 事をみ 心に 秘めおかれた． この 事があなたの 心のうちにあった 事を ／わたしは 知っている．
  4. わたしがもし 罪を 犯せば， ／あなたはわたしに 目をつけて， ／わたしを 罪から 解き 放されない．
  5. わたしがもし 惡ければわたしはわざわいだ． たといわたしが 正しくても， ／わたしは 頭を 上げることができない． わたしは 恥に 滿ち， 惱みを 見ているからだ．
  1. For it increaseth. Thou huntest me as a fierce lion: and again thou shewest thyself marvellous upon me.
  2. Thou renewest thy witnesses against me, and increasest thine indignation upon me; changes and war are against me.
  3. Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!
  4. I should have been as though I had not been; I should have been carried from the womb to the grave.
  5. Are not my days few? cease then, and let me alone, that I may take comfort a little,
  1. もし 頭をあげれば， ／あなたは， ししのようにわたしを 追い， ／わたしにむかって 再びくすしき 力をあらわされる．
  2. あなたは 證人を 入れ 替えてわたしを 攻め， ／わたしにむかってあなたの 怒りを 增し， ／新たに 軍勢を 出してわたしを 攻められる．
  3. なにゆえあなたはわたしを 胎から 出されたか， ／わたしは 息絶えて 目に 見られることなく，
  4. 胎から 墓に 運ばれて， ／初めからなかった 者のようであったなら， ／よかったのに．
  5. わたしの 命の 日はいくばくもないではないか． どうぞ， しばしわたしを 離れて， ／少しく 慰めを 得させられるように．
  1. Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;
  2. A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.
  1. わたしが 行って， 歸ることのないその 前に， ／これを 得させられるように． わたしは 暗き 地， 暗黑の 地へ 行く．
  2. これは 暗き 地で， やみにひとしく， ／暗黑で 秩序なく， 光もやみのようだ 」．
 
  소발의 첫번째 충고(11:1-11:20)    
 
  1. Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,
  2. Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?
  3. Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
  4. For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.
  5. But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;
  1. そこで ナアマ びと ゾパル は 答えて 言った，
  2. 「言葉が 多ければ， 答なしにすまされるだろうか． 口の 達者な 人は 義とされるだろうか．
  3. あなたのむなしい 言葉は 人を 沈默させるだろうか． あなたがあざけるとき， ／人はあなたを 恥じさせないだろうか．
  4. あなたは 言う， 『わたしの 敎は 正しい， ／わたしは 神の 目に 潔い 』と．
  5. どうぞ 神が 言葉を 出し， ／あなたにむかってくちびるを 開き，
  1. And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.
  2. Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
  3. It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?
  4. The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
  5. If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?
  1. 知惠の 秘密をあなたに 示されるように． 神はさまざまの 知識をもたれるからである． それであなたは 知るがよい， 神はあなたの 罪よりも ／輕くあなたを 罰せられることを．
  2. あなたは 神の 深い 事を 窮めることができるか． 全能者の 限界を 窮めることができるか．
  3. それは 天よりも 高い， あなたは 何をなしうるか． それは 陰府よりも 深い， あなたは 何を 知りうるか．
  4. その 量は 地よりも 長く， 海よりも 廣い．
  5. 彼がもし 行きめぐって 人を 捕え， ／さばきに 召し 集められるとき， ／だれが 彼をはばむことができよう．
  1. For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?
  2. For vain men would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt.
  3. If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
  4. If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.
  5. For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
  1. 彼は 卑しい 人間を 知っておられるからだ． 彼は 不義を 見る 時， ／これに 心をとめられぬであろうか．
  2. しかし 野ろばの 子が 人として 生れるとき， ／愚かな 者も 悟りを 得るであろう．
  3. もしあなたが 心を 正しくするならば， ／神に 向かって 手を 伸べるであろう．
  4. もしあなたの 手に 不義があるなら， それを 遠く 去れ， ／あなたの 天幕に 惡を 住まわせてはならない．
  5. そうすれば， あなたは 恥じることなく ／顔をあげることができ， ／堅く 立って， 恐れることはない．
  1. Because thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away:
  2. And thine age shall be clearer than the noonday: thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning.
  3. And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.
  4. Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; yea, many shall make suit unto thee.
  5. But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.
  1. あなたは 苦しみを 忘れ， ／あなたのこれを 覺えることは， ／流れ 去った 水のようになる．
  2. そしてあなたの 命は 眞¿よりも 光り 輝き， ／たとい 暗くても 朝のようになる．
  3. あなたは 望みがあるゆえに 安んじ， ／保護されて 安らかにいこうことができる．
  4. あなたは 伏してやすみ， ／あなたを 恐れさせるものはない． 多くの 者はあなたの 好意を 求めるであろう．
  5. しかし 惡しき 者の 目は 衰える． 彼らは 逃げ 場を 失い， ／その 望みは 息の 絶えるにひとしい 」．
 
  욥의 답변(12:1-12:25)    
 
  1. And Job answered and said,
  2. No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.
  3. But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these?
  4. I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.
  5. He that is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him that is at ease.
  1. そこで ヨブ は 答えて 言った，
  2. 「まことに， あなたがたのみ， 人である， ／知惠はあなたがたと 共に 死ぬであろう．
  3. しかしわたしも， あなたがたと 同樣に 悟りをもつ． わたしはあなたがたに 劣らない． だれがこのような 事を 知らないだろうか．
  4. わたしは 神に 呼ばわって， 聞かれた 者であるのに， ／その 友の 物笑いとなっている． 正しく 全き 人は 物笑いとなる．
  5. 安らかな 者の 思いには， ／不幸な 者に 對する 侮りがあって， ／足のすべる 者を 待っている．
  1. The tabernacles of robbers prosper, and they that provoke God are secure; into whose hand God bringeth abundantly.
  2. But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:
  3. Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee.
  4. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?
  5. In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.
  1. かすめ 奪う 者の 天幕は 榮え， ／神を 怒らす 者は 安らかである． 自分の 手に 神を 携えている 者も 同樣だ．
  2. しかし ¿に 問うてみよ， ／それはあなたに 敎える． 空の 鳥に 問うてみよ， ／それはあなたに 告げる．
  3. あるいは 地の 草や 木に 問うてみよ， ／彼らはあなたに 敎える． 海の 魚もまたあなたに 示す．
  4. これらすべてのもののうち， いずれか ／主の 手がこれをなしたことを 知らぬ 者があろうか．
  5. すべての 生き 物の 命， ／およびすべての 人の 息は 彼の 手のうちにある．
  1. Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his meat?
  2. With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
  3. With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.
  4. Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
  5. Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
  1. 口が 食物を 味わうように， ／耳は 言葉をわきまえないであろうか．
  2. 老いた 者には 知惠があり， ／命の 長い 者には 悟りがある．
  3. 知惠と 力は 神と 共にあり， ／深慮と 悟りも 彼のものである．
  4. 彼が 破壞すれば， 再び 建てることができない． 彼が 人を 閉じ ¿めれば， 開き 出すことができない．
  5. 彼が 水を 止めれば， それはかれ， ／彼が 水を 出せば， 地をくつがえす．
  1. With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
  2. He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
  3. He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.
  4. He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
  5. He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.
  1. 力と 深き 知惠は 彼と 共にあり， ／惑わされる 者も 惑わす 者も 彼のものである．
  2. 彼は 議士たちを 裸にして 連れ 行き， ／さばきびとらを 愚かにし，
  3. 王たちのきずなを 解き， ／彼らの 腰に 腰帶を 卷き，
  4. 祭司たちを 裸にして 連れ 行き， ／力ある 者を 滅ぼし，
  5. みずから 賴む 者たちの 言葉を 奪い， ／長老たちの 分別を 取り 去り，
  1. He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.
  2. He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
  3. He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.
  4. He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
  5. They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.
  1. 君たちの 上に 侮りを 注ぎ， ／强い 者たちの 帶を 解き，
  2. 暗やみの 中から 隱れた 事どもをあらわし， ／暗黑を 光に 引き 出し，
  3. 國¿を 大きくし， またこれを 滅ぼし， ／國¿を 廣くし， また 捕え 行き，
  4. 地の 民の 長たちの 悟りを 奪い， ／彼らを 道なき 荒野にさまよわせ，
  5. 光なき 暗やみに 手探りさせ， ／醉うた 者のようによろめかせる．
