	이사야 3:1-5:30 하나님께서는 유다와 예루살렘의 죄악으로 인해 백성들이 심판을 받고 슬퍼하며 통곡할 것이라고 하셨다. 그러나 예루살렘에 남아 있는 자들은 하나님의 구원을 받게 될 것이라고 하셨다. 또한, 이스라엘을 포도원으로 비유하면서 들포도를 맺는 유다인들의 불신앙에 대하여 하나님의 심판이 있을 것이라고 엄중히 경고하셨다.

	이스라엘의 죄악과 심판(3:1-4:6)

For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.

The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,

The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.

And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

見よ，主，万軍の主は／エルサレムとユダから／ささえとなり，賴みとなるもの ――すべてささえとなるパン，すべてささえとなる水 ――を取り去られる．

すなわち勇士と軍人，裁判官と預言者，占い師と長老，

五十人の長と身分の高い人，議官と巧みな魔術師，老練なまじない師を取り去られる．

わたしはわらべを立てて彼らの君とし，みどりごに彼らを治めさせる．

民は互に相しえたげ，人はおのおのその隣をしえたげ，若い者は老いたる者にむかって高ぶり，卑しい者は尊い者にむかって高ぶる．

When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:

In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.

For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

その時，人はその父の家で，兄弟をつかまえて言う，「あなたは外套を持っている，わたしたちのつかさびとになって，この荒れ跡をあなたの手で治めてください」と．

その日，彼は聲をあげて言う，「わたしはいやす者となることはできません，わたしの家にはパンもなく，外套もありません，わたしを立てて，民のつかさびとにしないでください」．

これは彼らの言葉と行いとが主にそむき，その榮光の目をおかしたので，エルサレムはつまずき，ユダは倒れたからである．

彼らの不公平は彼らにむかって不利なあかしをし，ソドムのようにその罪をあらわして隱さない．わざわいなるかな，彼らはみずから惡の報いをうけた．

正しい人に言え，彼らはさいわいであると．彼らはその行いの實を食べるからである．

Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.

The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

惡しき者はわざわいだ，彼は災をうける．その手のなした事が彼に報いられるからである．

わが民は幼な子にしえたげられ，女たちに治められる．ああ，わが民よ，あなたを導く者は／かえって，あなたを迷わせ，あなたの行くべき道を混亂させる．

主は言い爭うために立ちあがり，その民をさばくために立たれる．

主はその民の長老と君たちとをさばいて，「あなたがたは，ぶどう畑を食い荒した．貧しい者からかすめとった物は，あなたがたの家にある．

なぜ，あなたがたはわが民を踏みにじり，貧しい者の顔をすり ¿くのか」と／万軍の神，主は言われる．

Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:

Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.

In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,

The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,

The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,

主は言われた，シオンの娘らは高ぶり，首をのばしてあるき，目でこびをおくり，その行くとき氣どって步き，その足でりんりんと鳴り響かす．

それゆえ，主はシオンの娘らの頭を／擊って，かさぶたでおおい，彼らの隱れた所をあらわされる．

その日，主は彼らの美しい裝身具と服裝すなわち，くるぶし輪，髮ひも，月形の飾り，

耳輪，腕輪，顔おおい，

頭飾り，すね飾り，飾り帶，香箱，守り袋，

The rings, and nose jewels,

The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,

The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.

And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.

Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.

指輪，鼻輪，

禮服，外套，肩掛，手さげ袋，

薄織の上着，亞麻布の着物，帽子，被衣などを取り除かれる．

芳香はかわって，惡臭となり，帶はかわって，なわとなり，よく編んだ髮はかわって，かぶろとなり，はなやかな衣はかわって，荒布の衣となり，美しい顔はかわって，燒き印された顔となる．

あなたの男たちはつるぎに倒れ，あなたの勇士たちは戰いに倒れる．

And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.

シオンの門は嘆き悲しみ，シオンは荒れすたれて，地に座する．

And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.

In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.

その日，七人の女がひとりの男にすがって，「わたしたちは自分のパンをたべ，自分の着物を着ます．ただ，あなたの名によって呼ばれることを許して，わたしたちの恥を取り除いてください」と言う．

その日，主の枝は麗しく榮え，地の産物はイスラエルの生き殘った者の誇，また光榮となる．

そして主が審判の靈と滅亡の靈とをもって，シオンの娘らの汚れを洗い，エルサレムの血をその中から除き去られるとき，シオンに殘る者，エルサレムにとどまる者，すべてエルサレムにあって，生命の書にしるされた者は聖なる者ととなえられる．

その時，主はシオンの山のすべての場所と，そのもろもろの集會との上に， ¿は雲をつくり，夜は煙と燃える火の輝きとをつくられる．これはすべての榮光の上にある天蓋であり，あずまやであって，

And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

¿は暑さをふせぐ陰となり，また暴風と雨を避けて隱れる所となる．

	심판의 저주(5:1-5:30)

Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:

And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.

And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.

What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:

わたしはわが愛する者のために，そのぶどう畑についてのわが愛の歌をうたおう．わが愛する者は土肥えた小山の上に，一つのぶどう畑をもっていた．

彼はそれを掘りおこし，石を除き，それに良いぶどうを植え，その中に物見やぐらを建て，またその中に酒ぶねを掘り，良いぶどうの結ぶのを待ち望んだ．ところが結んだものは野ぶどうであった．

それで，エルサレムに住む者とユダの人¿よ，どうか，わたしとぶどう畑との間をさばけ．

わたしが，ぶどう畑になした事のほかに，何かなすべきことがあるか．わたしは良いぶどうの結ぶのを待ち望んだのに，どうして野ぶどうを結んだのか．

それで，わたしが，ぶどう畑になそうとすることを，あなたがたに告げる．わたしはそのまがきを取り去って，食い荒されるにまかせ，そのかきをとりこわして，踏み荒されるにまかせる．

And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!

In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.

Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.

わたしはこれを荒して，刈り ¿むことも，耕すこともせず，おどろと，いばらとを生えさせ，また雲に命じて，その上に雨を降らさない．

万軍の主のぶどう畑はイスラエルの家であり，主が喜んでそこに植えられた物は，ユダの人¿である．主はこれに公平を望まれたのに，見よ，流血．正義を望まれたのに，見よ，叫び．

わざわいなるかな，彼らは家に家を建て連ね，田畑に田畑をまし加えて，余地をあまさず，自分ひとり，國のうちに住まおうとする．

万軍の主はわたしの耳に誓って言われた，「必ずや多くの家は荒れすたれ，大きな麗しい家も住む者がないようになる．

十反のぶどう畑もわずかに一バテの實を結び，一ホメルの種もわずかに一エパの實を結ぶ」．

Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!

And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.

Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:

わざわいなるかな，彼らは朝早く起きて，濃き酒をおい求め，夜のふけるまで飮みつづけて，酒にその身を燒かれている．

彼らの酒宴には琴あり，立琴あり，鼓あり笛あり，ぶどう酒がある．しかし彼らは主のみわざを顧みず，み手のなされる事に目をとめない．

それゆえ，わが民は無知のために，とりこにせられ，その尊き者は飢えて死に，そのもろもろの民は，かわきによって衰えはてる．

また陰府はその欲望を大きくし，その口を限りなく開き，エルサレムの貴族，そのもろもろの民，その群集およびそのうちの喜びたのしめる者はみな／その中に落ちこむ．

人はかがめられ，人¿は低くせられ，高ぶる者の目は低くされる．

But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.

Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:

That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

しかし万軍の主は公平によってあがめられ，聖なる神は正義によって，おのれを聖なる者として示される．

こうして小羊は自分の牧場におるように草をはみ，肥えた家畜および子やぎは荒れ跡の中で食を得る．

わざわいなるかな，彼らは僞りのなわをもって惡を引きよせ，車の綱をもってするように罪を引きよせる．

彼らは言う，「彼を急がせ，そのわざをすみやかにさせよ，それを見せてもらおう．イスラエルの聖者の定める事を近づききたらせよ，それを見せてもらおう」と．

わざわいなるかな，彼らは惡を呼んで善といい，善を呼んで惡といい，暗きを光とし，光を暗しとし，苦きを甘しとし，甘きを苦しとする．

Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

わざわいなるかな，彼らはおのれを見て，賢しとし，みずから顧みて，さとしとする．

わざわいなるかな，彼らはぶどう酒を飮むことの英雄であり，濃き酒をまぜ合わせることの勇士である．

彼らはまいないによって惡しき者を義とし，義人からその義を奪う．

それゆえ，火の舌が刈り株を食い盡すように，枯れ草が炎の中に消えうせるように，彼らの根は朽ちたものとなり，彼らの花はちりのように飛び去る．彼らは万軍の主の律法を捨て，イスラエルの聖者の言葉を侮ったからである．

それゆえ，主はその民にむかって怒りを發し，み手を伸べて彼らを擊たれた．山は震い動き，彼らのしかばねは，ちまたの中で，あくたのようになった．それにもかかわらず，み怒りはやまず，なお，み手を伸ばされる．

And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:

None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:

Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:

Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.

And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.

主は旗をあげて遠くから一つの國民を招き，地の果から彼らを呼ばれる．見よ，彼らは走って，すみやかに來る．

その中には疲れる者も，つまずく者もなく，まどろむ者も，眠る者もない．その腰の帶はとけず，そのくつのひもは切れていない．

その矢は銳く，その弓はことごとく張り，その馬のひずめは火打石のように，その車の輪はつむじ風のように思われる．

そのほえることは，ししのように，若いししのようにほえ，うなって獲物を捕え，かすめ去っても救う者がない．

その日，その鳴りどよめくことは，海の鳴りどよめくようだ．もし地をのぞむならば，見よ，暗きと惱みとがあり，光は雲によって暗くなる．
