	이사야 44:1-45:25 하나님께서는 자신을 이스라엘의 왕이시며, 구속자인 만군의 야웨라고 하면서 야웨밖에 다른 신이 없다고 하셨다. 우상 숭배자들을 향하여 수치를 당할 것이라고 하였다. 또한 하나님께서는 고레스를 야웨의 목자로 삼으셔서 그를 통하여 예루살렘이 중건되고 성전의 기초가 세워질 것이라고 하셨다.

	이스라엘의 구속(44:1-44:28)

Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:

Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.

For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:

And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.

One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

しかし，わがしもべヤコブよ，わたしが選んだイスラエルよ，いま聞け．

あなたを造り，あなたを胎內に形造り，あなたを助ける主はこう言われる，『わがしもべヤコブよ，わたしが選んだエシュルンよ，恐れるな．

わたしは，かわいた地に水を注ぎ，干からびた地に流れをそそぎ，わが靈をあなたの子らにそそぎ，わが惠みをあなたの子孫に與えるからである．

こうして，彼らは水の中の草のように，流れのほとりの柳のように，生え育つ．

ある人は「わたしは主のものである」と言い，ある人はヤコブの名をもって自分を呼び，またある人は「主のものである」と手にしるして，イスラエルの名をもって自分を呼ぶ』」．

Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.

Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?

主，イスラエルの王，イスラエルをあがなう者，万軍の主はこう言われる，「わたしは初めであり，わたしは終りである．わたしのほかに神はない．

だれかわたしに等しい者があるか．その者はそれを示し，またそれを告げ，わが前に言いつらねよ．だれが，昔から，きたるべき事を聞かせたか．その者はやがて成るべき事をわれわれに告げよ．

恐れてはならない，またおののいてはならない．わたしはこの事を昔から，あなたがたに聞かせなかったか，また告げなかったか．あなたがたはわが證人である．わたしのほかに神があるか．わたしのほかに岩はない．わたしはそのあることを知らない」．

偶像を造る者は皆むなしく，彼らの喜ぶところのものは，なんの役にも立たない．その信者は見ることもなく，また知ることもない．ゆえに彼らは恥を受ける．

だれが神を造り，またなんの役にも立たない偶像を鑄たか．

Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.

The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.

The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.

He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.

Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.

見よ，その仲間は皆恥を受ける．その細工人らは人間にすぎない．彼らが皆集まって立つとき，恐れて共に恥じる．

鐵の細工人はこれを造るのに炭の火をもって細工し，鎚をもってこれを造り，强い腕をもってこれを鍛える．彼が飢えれば力は衰え，水を飮まなければ疲れはてる．

木の細工人は線を引き，鉛筆でえがき，かんなで削り，コンパスでえがき，それを人の美しい姿にしたがって人の形に造り，家の中に安置する．

彼は香柏を切り倒し，あるいはかしの木，あるいはかしわの木を選んで，それを林の木の中で强く育てる．あるいは香柏を植え，雨にそれを育てさせる．

こうして人はその一部をとって，たきぎとし，これをもって身を暖め，またこれを燃やしてパンを燒き，また他の一部を神に造って拜み，刻んだ像に造ってその前にひれ伏す．

He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:

And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.

They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

その半ばは火に燃やし，その半ばで肉を煮て食べ，あるいは肉をあぶって食べ飽き，また身を暖めて言う，「ああ，暖まった，熱くなった」と．

そしてその余りをもって神を造って偶像とし，その前にひれ伏して拜み，これに祈って，「あなたはわが神だ，わたしを救え」と言う．

これらの人は知ることがなく，また悟ることがない．その目はふさがれて見ることができず，その心は鈍くなって悟ることができない．

その心のうちに思うことをせず，また知識がなく，悟りがないために，「わたしはその半ばを火に燃やし，またその炭火の上でパンを燒き，肉をあぶって食べ，その殘りの木をもって憎むべきものを造るのか．木のはしくれの前にひれ伏すのか」と言う者もない．

彼は灰を食い，迷った心に惑わされて，おのれを救うことができず，また「わが右の手に僞りがあるではないか」と言わない．

Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

ヤコブよ，イスラエルよ，これらの事を心にとめよ．あなたはわがしもべだから．わたしはあなたを造った，あなたはわがしもべだ．イスラエルよ，わたしはあなたを忘れない．

わたしはあなたのとがを雲のように吹き拂い，あなたの罪を霧のように消した．わたしに立ち返れ，わたしはあなたをあがなったから．

天よ，歌え，主がこの事をなされたから．地の深き所よ，呼ばわれ．もろもろの山よ，林およびその中のもろもろの木よ，聲を放って歌え．主はヤコブをあがない，イスラエルのうちに榮光をあらわされたから．

あなたをあがない，あなたを胎內に造られた主はこう言われる，「わたしは主である．わたしはよろずの物を造り，ただわたしだけが天をのべ，地をひらき， ――だれがわたしと共にいたか ――

僞る物のしるしをむなしくし，占う者を狂わせ，賢い者をうしろに退けて，その知識を愚かにする．

That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:

That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:

That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.

わたしは，わがしもべの言葉を遂げさせ，わが使の計りごとを成らせ，エルサレムについては，『これは民の住む所となる』と言い，ユダのもろもろの町については，『ふたたび建てられる，わたしはその荒れ跡を興そう』と言い，

また淵については，『かわけ，わたしは／あなたのもろもろの川を干す』と言い，

またクロスについては，『彼はわが牧者，わが目的をことごとくなし遂げる』と言い，エルサレムについては，『ふたたび建てられる』と言い，神殿については，『あなたの基がすえられる』と言う」．

	구원자 고레스(45:1-45:25)

Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

わたしはわが受膏者クロスの／右の手をとって，もろもろの國をその前に從わせ，もろもろの王の腰を解き，とびらをその前に開かせて，門を閉じさせない，と言われる主は／その受膏者クロスにこう言われる，

「わたしはあなたの前に行って，もろもろの山を平らにし，靑銅のとびらをこわし，鐵の貫の木を斷ち切り，

あなたに，暗い所にある財寶と，ひそかな所に隱した寶物とを與えて，わたしは主，あなたの名を呼んだ／イスラエルの神であることをあなたに知らせよう．

わがしもべヤコブのために，わたしの選んだイスラエルのために，わたしはあなたの名を呼んだ．あなたがわたしを知らなくても，わたしはあなたに名を與えた．

わたしは主である．わたしのほかに神はない，ひとりもない．あなたがわたしを知らなくても，わたしはあなたを强くする．

That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?

これは日の出る方から，また西の方から，人¿がわたしのほかに神のないことを／知るようになるためである．わたしは主である，わたしのほかに神はない．

わたしは光をつくり，また暗きを創造し，繁榮をつくり，またわざわいを創造する．わたしは主である，すべてこれらの事をなす者である．

天よ，上より水を注げ，雲は義を降らせよ．地は開けて救を生じ，また義をも，生えさせよ．主なるわたしはこれを創造した．

陶器が陶器師と爭うように，おのれを造った者と爭う者はわざわいだ．粘土は陶器師にむかって／『あなたは何を造るか』と言い，あるいは『あなたの造った物には手がない』／と言うだろうか．

父にむかって／『あなたは，なぜ子をもうけるのか』と言い，あるいは女にむかって／『あなたは，なぜ産みの苦しみをするのか』と／言う者はわざわいだ」．

Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.

Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.

Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.

イスラエルの聖者，イスラエルを造られた主はこう言われる，「あなたがたは，わが子らについてわたしに問い，またわが手のわざについてわたしに命ずるのか．

わたしは地を造って，その上に人を創造した．わたしは手をもって天をのべ，その万軍を指揮した．

わたしは義をもってクロスを起した．わたしは彼のすべての道をまっすぐにしよう．彼はわが町を建て，わが捕囚を價のためでなく，また報いのためでもなく解き放つ」と／万軍の主は言われる．

主はこう言われる，「エジプトの富と，エチオピヤの商品と，たけの高いセバびととは／あなたに來て，あなたのものとなり，あなたに從い，彼らは鎖につながれて來て，あなたの前にひれ伏し，あなたに願って言う，『神はただあなたと共にいまし，このほかに神はなく，ひとりもない』」．

イスラエルの神，救主よ，まことに，あなたは／ご自分を隱しておられる神である．

They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.

But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.

偶像を造る者は皆恥を負い，はずかしめを受け，ともに，あわてふためいて退く．

しかし，イスラエルは主に救われて，とこしえの救を得る．あなたがたは世¿かぎりなく，恥を負わず，はずかしめを受けない．

天を創造された主，すなわち神であって／また地をも造り成し，これを堅くし，いたずらにこれを創造されず，これを人のすみかに造られた主はこう言われる，「わたしは主である，わたしのほかに神はない．

わたしは隱れたところ，地の暗い所で語らず，ヤコブの子孫に／『わたしを尋ねるのはむだだ』と言わなかった．主なるわたしは正しい事を語り，まっすぐな事を告げる．

もろもろの國からのがれてきた者よ，集まってきて，共に近寄れ．木像をにない，救うことのできない神に祈る者は無知である．

Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.

In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.

あなたがたの言い分を持ってきて述べよ．また共に相談せよ．この事をだれがいにしえから示したか．だれが昔から告げたか．わたし，すなわち主ではなかったか．わたしのほかに神はない．わたしは義なる神，救主であって，わたしのほかに神はない．

地の果なるもろもろの人よ，わたしを仰ぎのぞめ，そうすれば救われる．わたしは神であって，ほかに神はないからだ．

わたしは自分をさして誓った，わたしの口から出た正しい言葉は歸ることがない，『すべてのひざはわが前にかがみ，すべての舌は誓いをたてる』．

人はわたしについて言う，『正義と力とは主にのみある』と．人¿は主にきたり，主にむかって怒る者は皆恥を受ける．

しかしイスラエルの子孫は／皆主によって勝ち誇ることができる」．
