- Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
- Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
- For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
- Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.
- My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.

- 「義を 追い 求め， 主を 尋ね 求める 者よ， わたしに 聞け． あなたがたの 切り 出された 岩と， あなたがたの 掘り 出された 穴とを 思いみよ．
- あなたがたの 父 アブラハム と， あなたがたを 産んだ サラ とを 思いみよ． わたしは 彼をただひとりであったときに 召し， 彼を 祝福して， その 子孫を 增し 加えた．
- 主は シオン を 慰め， またそのすべて 荒れた 所を 慰めて， その 荒野を エデン のように， そのさばくを 主の 園のようにされる． こうして， その 中に 喜びと 樂しみとがあり， 感謝と 歌の 聲とがある．
- わが 民よ， わたしに 聞け， わが 國びとよ， わたしに 耳を 傾けよ． 律法はわたしから 出， わが 道はもろもろの 民の 光となる．
- わが 義はすみやかに 近づき， わが 救は 出て 行った． わが 腕はもろもろの 民を 治める． 海沿いの 國¿はわたしを 待ち 望み， わが 腕に 寄り 賴む．

- Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
- Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
- For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
- Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?
- Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?

- 目をあげて 天を 見， また 下なる 地を 見よ． 天は 煙のように 消え， 地は 衣のようにふるび， その 中に 住む 者は， ぶよのように 死ぬ． しかし， わが 救はとこしえにながらえ， わが 義はくじけることがない．
- 義を 知る 者よ， 心のうちにわが 律法をたもつ 者よ， わたしに 聞け． 人のそしりを 恐れてはならない， 彼らのののしりに 驚いてはならない．
- 彼らは 衣のように， しみに 食われ， 羊の 毛のように 蟲に 食われるからだ． しかし， わが 義はとこしえにながらえ， わが 救はよろず 代に 及ぶ 」．
- 主のかいなよ， さめよ， さめよ， 力を 着よ． さめて， いにしえの 日， 昔の 代にあったようになれ． ラハブ を 切り 殺し， 龍を 刺し 貫いたのは， あなたではなかったか．
- 海をかわかし， 大いなる 淵の 水をかわかし， また 海の 深き 所を， あがなわれた 者の 過ぎる 道とされたのは， あなたではなかったか．

- Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
- I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
- And forgettest the LORD thy maker, that hath stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and hast feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
- The captive exile hasteneth that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.
- But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.

- 主にあがなわれた 者は， 歌うたいつつ， シオン に 歸ってきて， そのこうべに， とこしえの 喜びをいただき， 彼らは 喜びと 樂しみとを 得， 悲しみと 嘆きとは 逃げ 去る．
- 「わたしこそあなたを 慰める 者だ． あなたは 何者なれば， 死ぬべき 人を 恐れ， 草のようになるべき 人の 子を 恐れるのか．
- 天をのべ， 地の 基をすえられた ／あなたの 造り 主， 主を 忘れて， なぜ， しえたげる 者が 滅ぼそうと 備えをするとき， その 憤りのゆえに 常にひねもす 恐れるのか． しえたげる 者の 憤りはどこにあるか．
- 身をかがめている 捕われ 人は， すみやかに 解かれて， 死ぬことなく， 穴にくだることなく， その 食物はつきることがない．
- わたしは 海をふるわせ， その 波をなりどよめかすあなたの 神， 主である． その 名を 万軍の 主という．

- And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
