- My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
- For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
- Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
- So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
- Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

- わが 子よ， わたしの 敎を 忘れず， わたしの 戒めを 心にとめよ．
- そうすれば， これはあなたの 日を 長くし， 命の 年を 延べ， あなたに 平安を 增し 加える．
- いつくしみと， まこととを 捨ててはならない， それをあなたの 首に 結び， 心の 碑にしるせ．
- そうすれば， あなたは 神と 人との 前に ／惠みと， 譽とを 得る．
- 心をつくして 主に 信賴せよ， 自分の 知識にたよってはならない．

- In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
- Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
- It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
- Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
- So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

- 自分を 見て 賢いと 思ってはならない， 主を 恐れて， 惡を 離れよ．
- そうすれば， あなたの 身を 健やかにし， あなたの 骨に 元氣を 與える．
- あなたの 財産と， すべての 産物の 初なりをもって 主をあがめよ．
- そうすれば， あなたの 倉は 滿ちて 余り， あなたの 酒ぶねは 新しい 酒であふれる．
