	이사야 64:1-66:24 이사야는 이스라엘이 바벨론에서 해방되도록 하나님께 간구하였다. 이에 하나님께서는 이스라엘의 죄로 인한 심판의 필연성을 선포하셨다. 그리고 신앙을 지킨 남은 자들의 구원과 이들을 중심으로 한 예루살렘의 평화와 번영을 약속하셨다. 또한 구원이 이방인에게 확대될 것과 그리스도의 재림, 죄인의 최후 심판을 예고하셨다.

	도움을 구하는 기도(64:1-64:12)

Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,

As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!

When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.

For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.

どうか，あなたが天を裂いて下り，あなたの前に山¿が震い動くように．

火が柴木を燃やし，火が水を沸かすときのごとく下られるように．そして，み名をあなたのあだにあらわし，もろもろの國をあなたの前に／震えおののかせられるように．

あなたは，われわれが期待しなかった恐るべき事を／なされた時に下られたので，山¿は震い動いた．

いにしえからこのかた，あなたのほか神を待ち望む者に，このような事を行われた神を聞いたことはなく，耳に入れたこともなく，目に見たこともない．

あなたは喜んで義を行い，あなたの道にあって，あなたを記念する者を迎えられる．見よ，あなたは怒られた，われわれは罪を犯した．われわれは久しく罪のうちにあった．われわれは救われるであろうか．

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.

Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.

われわれはみな汚れた人のようになり，われわれの正しい行いは，ことごとく汚れた衣のようである．われわれはみな木の葉のように枯れ，われわれの不義は風のようにわれわれを吹き去る．

あなたの名を呼ぶ者はなく，みずから勵んで，あなたによりすがる者はない．あなたはみ顔を隱して，われわれを顧みられず，われわれをおのれの不義の手に渡された．

されど主よ，あなたはわれわれの父です．われわれは粘土であって，あなたは陶器師です．われわれはみな，み手のわざです．

主よ，ひどくお怒りにならぬように，いつまでも不義をみこころにとめられぬように．どうぞ，われわれを顧みてください．われわれはみな，あなたの民です．

あなたの聖なる町¿は荒野となり，シオンは荒野となり，エルサレムは荒れすたれた．

Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.

Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?

われわれの先祖があなたをほめたたえた／聖なる麗しいわれわれの宮は火で燒かれ，われわれが慕った所はことごとく荒れはてた．

主よ，これらの事があっても／なお，あなたはみずからをおさえ，默して，われわれをいたく苦しめられるのですか．

	심판과 구원(65:1-65:16)

I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.

I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;

A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;

Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

わたしはわたしを求めなかった者に／問われることを喜び，わたしを尋ねなかった者に／見いだされることを喜んだ．わたしはわが名を呼ばなかった國民に言った，「わたしはここにいる，わたしはここにいる」と．

よからぬ道に步み，自分の思いに從うそむける民に，わたしはひねもす手を伸べて招いた．

この民はまのあたり常にわたしを怒らせ，園の中で ¿牲をささげ，かわらの上で香をたき，

墓場にすわり，ひそかな所にやどり，豚の肉を食らい，憎むべき物の，あつものをその器に盛って，

言う，「あなたはそこに立って，わたしに近づいてはならない．わたしはあなたと區別されたものだから」と．これらはわが鼻の煙，ひねもす燃える火である．

Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,

Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.

Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.

And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.

And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.

見よ，この事はわが前にしるされた，「わたしは默っていないで報い返す．そうだ，わたしは彼らのふところに，

彼らの不義と，彼らの先祖たちの不義とを／共に報い返す．彼らが山の上で香をたき，丘の上でわたしをそしったゆえ，わたしは彼らのさきのわざを量って，そのふところに返す」と主は言われる．

主はこう言われる，「人がぶどうのふさの中に，ぶどうのしるのあるのを見るならば，『それを破るな，その中に祝福があるから』と言う．そのようにわたしは，わがしもべらのために行って，ことごとくは滅ぼさない．

わたしはヤコブから子孫をいだし，ユダからわが山¿を受けつぐべき者をいだす．わたしが選んだ者はこれを受けつぎ，わがしもべらはそこに住む．

シャロンは羊の群れの牧場となり，アコルの谷は牛の群れの伏す所となって，わたしを尋ね求めたわが民のものとなる．

But ye are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.

Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:

Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.

And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:

しかし主を捨て，わが聖なる山を忘れ，机を禍福の神に供え，混ぜ合わせた酒を盛って運命の神にささげるあなたがたよ，

わたしは，あなたがたを／つるぎに渡すことに定めた．あなたがたは皆かがんでほふられる．あなたがたはわたしが呼んだときに答えず，わたしが語ったときに聞かず，わたしの目に惡い事をおこない，わたしの好まなかった事を選んだからだ」．

それゆえ，主なる神はこう言われる，「見よ，わがしもべたちは食べる，しかし，あなたがたは飢える．見よ，わがしもべたちは飮む，しかし，あなたがたはかわく．見よ，わがしもべたちは喜ぶ，しかし，あなたがたは恥じる．

見よ，わがしもべたちは心の樂しみによって歌う，しかし，あなたがたは心の苦しみによって叫び，たましいの惱みによって泣き叫ぶ．

あなたがたの殘す名は／わが選んだ者には，のろいの文句となり，主なる神はあなたがたを殺される．しかし，おのれのしもべたちを，ほかの名をもって呼ばれる．

That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

それゆえ，地にあって／おのれのために祝福を求める者は，眞實の神によっておのれの祝福を求め，地にあって誓う者は，眞實の神をさして誓う．さきの惱みは忘れられて，わが目から隱れうせるからである．

	심판과 소망(65:17-66:24)

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

見よ，わたしは新しい天と，新しい地とを創造する．さきの事はおぼえられることなく，心に思い起すことはない．

しかし，あなたがたはわたしの創造するものにより，とこしえに樂しみ，喜びを得よ．見よ，わたしはエルサレムを造って喜びとし，その民を樂しみとする．

わたしはエルサレムを喜び，わが民を樂しむ．泣く聲と叫ぶ聲は再びその中に聞えることはない．

わずか數日で死ぬみどりごと，おのが命の日を滿たさない老人とは，もはやその中にいない．百歲で死ぬ者も，なお若い者とせられ，百歲で死ぬ者は，のろわれた罪びととされる．

彼らは家を建てて，それに住み，ぶどう畑を作って，その實を食べる．

They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

彼らが建てる所に，ほかの人は住まず，彼らが植えるものは，ほかの人が食べない．わが民の命は，木の命のようになり，わが選んだ者は，その手のわざをながく樂しむからである．

彼らの勤勞はむだでなく，その生むところの子らは災にかからない．彼らは主に祝福された者のすえであって，その子らも彼らと共におるからである．

彼らが呼ばないさきに，わたしは答え，彼らがなお語っているときに，わたしは聞く．

おおかみと小羊とは共に食らい，ししは牛のようにわらを食らい，へびはちりを食物とする．彼らはわが聖なる山のどこでもそこなうことなく，やぶることはない」と主は言われる．

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

主はこう言われる，「天はわが位，地はわが足台である．あなたがたはわたしのためにどんな家を／建てようとするのか．またどんな所がわが休み所となるのか」．

主は言われる，「わが手はすべてこれらの物を造った．これらの物はことごとくわたしのものである．しかし，わたしが顧みる人はこれである．すなわち，へりくだって心悔い，わが言葉に恐れおののく者である．

牛をほふる者は，また人を殺す者，小羊を ¿牲とする者は，また犬をくびり殺す者，供え物をささげる者は，また豚の血をささげる者，乳香を記念としてささげる者は，また偶像をほめる者である．これはおのが道を選び，その心は憎むべきものを樂しむ．

わたしもまた彼らのために惱みを選び，彼らの恐れるところのものを彼らに臨ませる．これは，わたしが呼んだときに答える者なく，わたしが語ったときに聞くことをせず，わたしの目に惡い事を行い，わたしの好まなかった事を選んだからである」．

あなたがた，主の言葉に恐れおののく者よ，主の言葉を聞け，「あなたがたの兄弟たちはあなたがたを憎み，あなたがたをわが名のために追い出して言った，『願わくは主がその榮光をあらわして／われわれにあなたがたの喜びを見させよ』と．しかし彼らは恥を受ける．

A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

聞けよ，町から起る ¿ぎを．宮から聞える聲を．主がその敵に報復される聲を．

シオンは産みの苦しみをなす前に産み，その苦しみの來ない前に男子を産んだ．

だれがこのような事を聞いたか，だれがこのような事どもを見たか．一つの國は一日の苦しみで生れるだろうか．一つの國民はひと時に生れるだろうか．しかし，シオンは産みの苦しみをするやいなや／その子らを産んだ．

わたしが出産に臨ませて／産ませないことがあろうか」と／主は言われる．「わたしは産ませる者なのに／胎をとざすであろうか」と／あなたの神は言われる．

「すべてエルサレムを愛する者よ，彼女と共に喜べ，彼女のゆえに樂しめ．すべて彼女のために悲しむ者よ，彼女と共に喜び樂しめ．

That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

あなたがたは慰めを與えるエルサレムの乳ぶさから／乳を吸って飽くことができ，またその豊かな榮えから／飮んで樂しむことができるからだ」．

主はこう言われる，「見よ，わたしは川のように彼女に繁榮を與え，みなぎる流れのように，もろもろの國の富を與える．あなたがたは乳を飮み，腰に負われ，ひざの上であやされる．

母のその子を慰めるように，わたしもあなたがたを慰める．あなたがたはエルサレムで慰めを得る．

あなたがたは見て，心喜び，あなたがたの骨は若草のように榮える．主の手はそのしもべらと共にあり，その憤りはその敵にむかっていることを知る．

見よ，主は火の中にあらわれて來られる．その車はつむじ風のようだ．激しい怒りをもってその憤りをもらし，火の炎をもって責められる．

For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

主は火をもって，またつるぎをもって，すべての人にさばきを行われる．主に殺される者は多い」．

「みずからを聖別し，みずからを淸めて園に行き，その中にあるものに從い，豚の肉，憎むべき物およびねずみを食う者はみな共に絶えうせる」と主は言われる．

「わたしは彼らのわざと，彼らの思いとを知っている．わたしは來て，すべての國民と，もろもろのやからとを集める．彼らは來て，わが榮光を見る．

わたしは彼らの中に一つのしるしを立てて，のがれた者をもろもろの國，すなわちタルシシ，よく弓をひくプトおよびルデ，トバル，ヤワン，またわが名聲を聞かず，わが榮光を見ない遠くの海沿いの國¿につかわす．彼らはわが榮光をもろもろの國民の中に傳える．

彼らはイスラエルの子らが淸い器に供え物を盛って主の宮に携えて來るように，あなたがたの兄弟をことごとくもろもろの國の中から馬，車，かご， ¿馬，らくだに乘せて，わが聖なる山エルサレムにこさせ，主の供え物とする」と主は言われる．

And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

「わたしはまた彼らの中から人を選んで祭司とし，レビびととする」と主は言われる．

「わたしが造ろうとする新しい天と，新しい地が／わたしの前にながくとどまるように，あなたの子孫と，あなたの名は／ながくとどまる」と主は言われる．

「新月ごとに，安息日ごとに，すべての人はわが前に來て禮拜する」と／主は言われる．

「彼らは出て，わたしにそむいた人¿のしかばねを見る．そのうじは死なず，その火は消えることがない．彼らはすべての人に忌みきらわれる」．
