아모스 7:1-8:14

 아모스는 황충, 불, 다림줄 환상에 이어 여름 실과의 환상을 보았다. 황충과 불의 환상은 북이스라엘의 멸망과 하나님의 심판에 대한 경고를, 다림줄과 여름 실과의 환상은 회개치 않은 북이스라엘에 대한 하나님의 심판이 확정되었음을 보여 주는 것이었다. 아모스는 심판의 날에는 절망적인 애곡과 하나님의 말씀에 대한 극심한 영적 기갈이 있을 것이라고 예언하였다.
  
  아모스의 환상(7:1-8:14)    
 
  1. Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings.
  2. And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
  3. The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.
  4. Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.
  5. Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.
  1. 主なる 神はこのようにわたしに 示された． 見よ， 二番草のはえ 出る 初めに 主は， いなごを 造られた． 見よ， その 二番草は 王の 刈った 後に， はえたものである．
  2. そのいなごが 地の 靑草を 食い 盡した 時， わたしは 言った， 「主なる 神よ， どうぞ， ゆるしてください． ヤコブ は 小さい 者です， どうして 立つことができましょう 」．
  3. 主はこのことについて 思いかえされ， 「このことは 起さない 」と 主は 言われた．
  4. 主なる 神はこのようにわたしに 示された． 見よ， 主なる 神はさばきのために 火を 呼ばれた． 火は 大淵を 燒き， また 地を 燒こうとした．
  5. その 時わたしは 言った， 「主なる 神よ， どうぞ， やめてください． ヤコブ は 小さい 者です， どうして 立つことができましょう 」．
  1. The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.
  2. Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the LORD stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.
  3. And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the LORD, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:
  4. And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.
  5. Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.
  1. 主はこのことについて 思いかえされ， 「このこともまた 起さない 」と 主なる 神は 言われた．
  2. また 主はわたしに 示された． 見よ， 主は 測りなわをもって 築いた 石がきの 上に 立ち， その 手に 測りなわをもっておられた．
  3. そして 主はわたしに 言われた， 「アモス よ， あなたは 何を 見るか 」． 「測りなわ 」とわたしが 答えると， 主はまた 言われた， 「見よ， わたしは 測りなわを ／わが 民 イスラエル の 中に 置く． わたしはもはや 彼らを 見過ごしにしない．
  4. イサク の 高き 所は 荒され， イスラエル の 聖所は 荒れはてる． わたしはつるぎをもって ／ ヤラベアム の 家に 立ち 向かう 」．
  5. 時に ベテル の 祭司 アマジヤ は， イスラエル の 王 ヤラベアム に 人をつかわして 言う， 「イスラエル の 家のただ 中で， アモス はあなたにそむきました． この 地は 彼のもろもろの 言葉に 耐えることができません．
  1. For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.
  2. Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:
  3. But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king's chapel, and it is the king's court.
  4. Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet's son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:
  5. And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
  1. アモス はこのように 言っています， 『ヤラベアム はつるぎによって 死ぬ， イスラエル は 必ず 捕えられて 行って， その 國を 離れる 』と 」．
  2. それから アマジヤ は アモス に 言った， 「先見者よ， 行って ユダ の 地にのがれ， かの 地で パン を 食べ， かの 地で 預言せよ．
  3. しかし ベテル では 二度と 預言してはならない． ここは 王の 聖所， 國の 宮だから 」．
  4. アモス は アマジヤ に 答えた， 「わたしは 預言者でもなく， また 預言者の 子でもない． わたしは 牧者である． わたしはいちじく 桑の 木を 作る 者である．
  5. ところが 主は 群れに 從っている 所からわたしを 取り， 『行って， わが 民 イスラエル に 預言せよ 』と， 主はわたしに 言われた．
  1. Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.
  2. Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.
  1. それゆえ 今， 主の 言葉を 聞け． あなたは 言う， 『イスラエル に 向かって 預言するな， イサク の 家に 向かって 語るな 』と．
  2. それゆえ， 主はこう 言われる， 『あなたの 妻は 町で 遊女となり， あなたのむすこ， 娘たちはつるぎに 倒れ， あなたの 地は 測りなわで 分かたれる． そしてあなたは 汚れた 地で 死に， イスラエル は 必ず 捕えられて 行って， その 國を 離れる 』」．
 
 
  1. Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.
  2. And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
  3. And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
  4. Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
  5. Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
  1. 主なる 神は， このようにわたしに 示された． 見よ， ひとかごの 夏のくだものがある．
  2. 主は 言われた， 「アモス よ， あなたは 何を 見るか 」． わたしは「ひとかごの 夏のくだもの 」と 答えた． すると 主はわたしに 言われた， 「わが 民 イスラエル の 終りがきた． わたしは 再び 彼らを 見過ごしにしない．
  3. その 日には 宮の 歌は 嘆きに 變り， しかばねがおびただしく， 人¿は 無言でこれを 至る 所に 投げ 捨てる 」と ／主なる 神は 言われる．
  4. あなたがた， 貧しい 者を 踏みつけ， また 國の 乏しい 者を 滅ぼす 者よ， これを 聞け．
  5. あなたがたは 言う， 「新月はいつ 過ぎ 去るだろう， そうしたら， われわれは 穀物を 賣ろう． 安息日はいつ 過ぎ 去るだろう， そうしたら， われわれは 麥を 賣り 出そう． われわれは エパ を 小さくし， シケル を 大きくし， 僞りのはかりをもって 欺き，
  1. That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?
  2. The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.
  3. Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
  4. And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
  5. And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.
  1. 乏しい 者を 金で 買い， 貧しい 者をくつ 一足で 買いとり， また， くず 麥を 賣ろう 」．
  2. 主は ヤコブ の 誇をさして 誓われた， 「わたしは 必ず 彼らのすべてのわざを ／いつまでも 忘れない．
  3. これがために 地は 震わないであろうか． 地に 住む 者はみな 嘆かないであろうか． 地はみな ナイル 川のようにわきあがり， エジプト の ナイル 川のようにみなぎって， また 沈まないであろうか 」．
  4. 主なる 神は 言われる， 「その 日には， わたしは 眞¿に 太陽を 沈ませ， 白¿に 地を 暗くし，
  5. あなたがたの 祭を 嘆きに 變らせ， あなたがたの 歌をことごとく 悲しみの 歌に 變らせ， すべての 人に 荒布を 腰にまとわせ， すべての 人に 髮をそり 落させ， その 日を， ひとり 子を 失った 喪中のようにし， その 終りを， 苦い 日のようにする 」．
  1. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
  2. And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.
  3. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
  4. They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.
  1. 主なる 神は 言われる， 「見よ， わたしがききんをこの 國に 送る 日が 來る， それは パン のききんではない， 水にかわくのでもない， 主の 言葉を 聞くことのききんである．
  2. 彼らは 海から 海へさまよい 步き， 主の 言葉を 求めて， こなたかなたへはせまわる， しかしこれを 得ないであろう．
  3. その 日には 美しいおとめも， 若い 男もかわきのために 氣を 失う．
  4. かの サマリヤ の アシマ をさして 誓い， 『ダン よ， あなたの 神は 生きている 』と 言い， また ／『ベエルシバ の 道は 生きている 』と 言う 者どもは ／必ず 倒れる． 再び 起きあがることはない 」．
