하박국

  하박국이 활동하던 시기는 유다 왕국이 위기에 처해 있을 때였다. 당시 유다는 국외적으로는 강대국 바벨론 침략 위협을 받고 있었으며, 국내적으로는 종교적, 도적적 타락으로 절망적인 상태에 있었다. 이러한 때에 하박국은 유다에 남은 경건한 사람들을 위로하고 ‘의인은 오직 믿음으로 산다.’고 외쳤다. 이는 기독교 구원론의 근간을 마련한 것이기도 하다.

  본서는 하나님과 하박국 선지자가 나눈 개인적인 대화와 예언적 계시에 초첨을 맞추고 있다. 본서에는 하나님의 주권의 확실성이 표현되어 있으며, 의인을 향한 하나님의 사랑과 악한 바벨론을 멸하시려는 하나님의 의도가 잘 나타나 있다.

 

 

하박국 1:1-3:19

 죄악이 관영한 남유다를 공의의 하나님께서 왜 징계치 않으시는가를 질문한 하박국에게 갈대아를 심판의 도구로 삼아 그들을 심판하시겠다는 하나님의 응답이 주어졌다. 이어 하박국이 왜 유다보다 더 패역한 이방을 사용하여 유다를 심판하시는지를 다시 묻자, 하나님께서는 유다의 심판 도구인 바벨론도 결국에는 심판과 멸망을 당하리라고 말씀하셨다. 이에 하박국은 하나님의 구원을 찬양했다.
  
  공의의 하나님(1:1-3:19)    
 
  1. The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see.
  2. O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
  3. Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.
  4. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.
  5. Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
  1. 預言者 ハバクク が 見た 神の 託宣．
  2. 主よ， わたしが 呼んでいるのに， いつまであなたは 聞きいれて 下さらないのか． わたしはあなたに「暴虐がある 」と 訴えたが， あなたは 助けて 下さらないのか．
  3. あなたは 何ゆえ， わたしによこしまを 見せ， 何ゆえ， わたしに 災を 見せられるのか． 略奪と 暴虐がわたしの 前にあり， また 論爭があり， 鬪爭も 起っている．
  4. それゆえ， 律法はゆるみ， 公義は 行われず， 惡人は 義人を 圍み， 公義は 曲げて 行われている．
  5. 諸國民のうちを 望み 見て， 驚け， そして 怪しめ． わたしはあなたがたの 日に 一つの 事をする． 人がこの 事を 知らせても， あなたがたはとうてい 信じまい．
  1. For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not their's.
  2. They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.
  3. Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.
  4. They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
  5. And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
  1. 見よ， わたしは カルデヤ びとを 興す． これはたけく， 激しい 國民であって， 地を 縱橫に 行きめぐり， 自分たちのものでないすみかを 奪う．
  2. これはきびしく， 恐ろしく， そのさばきと 威嚴とは 彼ら 自身から 出る．
  3. その 馬はひょうよりも 速く， 夜のおおかみよりも 荒い． その 騎兵は 威勢よく 進む． すなわち， その 騎兵は 遠い 所から 來る． 彼らは 物を 食おうと 急ぐわしのように 飛ぶ．
  4. 彼らはみな 暴虐のために 來る． 彼らを 恐れる 恐れが 彼らの 前を 行く． 彼らはとりこを 砂のように 集める．

  1. Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.
  2. Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
  3. Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
  4. And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
  5. They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad.
  1. こうして， 彼らは 風のようになぎ 倒して 行き 過ぎる． 彼らは 罪深い 者で， おのれの 力を 神となす．
  2. わが 神， 主， わが 聖者よ． あなたは 永遠からいますかたではありませんか． わたしたちは 死んではならない． 主よ， あなたは 彼らをさばきのために 備えられた． 岩よ， あなたは 彼らを 懲らしめのために 立てられた．
  3. あなたは 目が 淸く， 惡を 見られない 者， また 不義を 見られない 者であるのに， 何ゆえ 不眞實な 者に 目をとめていられるのですか． 惡しき 者が 自分よりも 正しい 者を， のみ 食らうのに， 何ゆえ 默っていられるのですか．
  4. あなたは 人を 海の 魚のようにし， 治める 者のない 這う 蟲のようにされる．
  5. 彼はつり 針でこれをことごとくつり 上げ， 網でこれを 捕え， 引き 網でこれを 集め， こうして 彼は 喜び 樂しむ．
  1. Therefore they sacrifice unto their net, and burn incense unto their drag; because by them their portion is fat, and their meat plenteous.
  2. Shall they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?
  1. それゆえ， 彼はその 網に ¿牲をささげ， その 引き 網に 香をたく． これによって 彼はぜいたくに 暮し， その 食物も 豊かになるからである．

  1. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
  2. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
  3. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
  4. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
  5. Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
  1. わたしはわたしの 見張所に 立ち， 物見やぐらに 身を 置き， 望み 見て， 彼がわたしになんと 語られるかを 見， またわたしの 訴えについて ／わたし 自らなんと 答えたらよかろうかを 見よう．
  2. 主はわたしに 答えて 言われた， 「この 幻を 書き， これを 板の 上に 明らかにしるし， 走りながらも， これを 讀みうるようにせよ．
  3. この 幻はなお 定められたときを 待ち， 終りをさして 急いでいる． それは 僞りではない． もしおそければ 待っておれ． それは 必ず 臨む． 滯りはしない．
  4. 見よ， その 魂の 正しくない 者は 衰える． しかし 義人はその 信仰によって 生きる．
  5. また， 酒は 欺くものだ． 高ぶる 者は 定まりがない． 彼の 欲は 陰府のように 廣い． 彼は 死のようであって， 飽くことなく， 万國をおのれに 集め， 万民をおのれのものとしてつどわせる 」．
  1. Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
  2. Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?
  3. Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
  4. Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!
  5. Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.
  1. これらは 皆ことわざをもって 彼をあざけり， あざけりのなぞをもって 彼をあざ 笑わないだろうか． すなわち 言う， 「わざわいなるかな， おのれに 屬さないものを 增し 加える 者よ． いつまでこのようであろうか． 質物でおのれを 重くする 者よ 」．
  2. あなたの 負債者は， にわかに 興らないであろうか． あなたを 激しくゆすぶる 者は 目ざめないであろうか． その 時あなたは 彼らにかすめられる．
  3. あなたは 多くの 國民をかすめたゆえ， そのもろもろの 民の 殘れる 者は 皆あなたをかすめる． これは 人の 血を 流し， 國と 町と， その 中に 住むすべての 者に ／暴虐を 行ったからである．
  4. わざわいなるかな， 災の 手を 免れるために 高い 所に 巢を 構えようと， おのが 家のために 不義の 利を 取る 者よ．
  5. あなたは 事をはかって 自分の 家に 恥を 招き， 多くの 民を 滅ぼして， 自分の 生命を 失った．
  1. For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.
  2. Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!
  3. Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?
  4. For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
  5. Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
  1. 石は 石がきから 叫び， 梁は 建物からこれに 答えるからである．
  2. わざわいなるかな， 血をもって 町を 建て， 惡をもって 町を 築く 者よ．
  3. 見よ， もろもろの 民は 火のために 勞し， もろもろの 國びとはむなしい 事のために 疲れる． これは 万軍の 主から 出る 言葉ではないか．
  4. 海が 水でおおわれているように， 地は 主の 榮光の 知識で 滿たされるからである．
  5. わざわいなるかな， その 隣り 人に 怒りの 杯を 飮ませて， これを 醉わせ， 彼らの 隱し 所を 見ようとする 者よ．
  1. Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD's right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.
  2. For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
  3. What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
  4. Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
  5. But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
  1. あなたは 譽の 代りに 恥に 飽き， あなたもまた 飮んでよろめけ． 主の 右の 手の 杯は， あなたに 巡り 來る． 恥はあなたの 譽に 代る．
  2. あなたが レバノン になした 暴虐は， あなたを 倒し， ¿のような 滅亡は， あなたを 恐れさせる． これは 人の 血を 流し， 國と 町と， 町の 中に 住むすべての 者に， 暴虐を 行ったからである．
  3. 刻める 像， 鑄像および 僞りを 敎える 者は， その 作者がこれを 刻んだとてなんの 益があろうか． その 作者が 物言わぬ 偶像を 造って， その 造ったものに 賴んでみても， なんの 益があろうか．
  4. わざわいなるかな， 木に 向かって， さめよと 言い， 物言わぬ 石に 向かって， 起きよと 言う 者よ． これは 默示を 與え 得ようか． 見よ， これは 金銀をきせたもので， その 中には 命の 息は 少しもない．
  5. しかし， 主はその 聖なる 宮にいます， 全地はそのみ 前に 沈默せよ．

  2. O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.
  3. God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.
  4. And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.

  1. シギヨノテ の 調べによる， 預言者 ハバクク の 祈．
  2. 主よ， わたしはあなたのことを 聞きました． 主よ， わたしはあなたのみわざを 見て 恐れます． この 年のうちにこれを 新たにし， この 年のうちにこれを 知らせてください． 怒る 時にもあわれみを 思いおこしてください．
  3. 神は テマン からこられ， 聖者は パラン の 山からこられた． その 榮光は 天をおおい， そのさんびは 地に 滿ちた． 〔セラ

  1. He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.
  2. I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
  3. Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
  4. Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
  5. The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.
  1. 彼は 立って， 地をはかり， 彼は 見て， 諸國民をおののかせられる． とこしえの 山は 散らされ， 永遠の 丘は 沈む． 彼の 道は 昔のとおりである．
  2. わたしが 見ると， クシャン の 天幕に 惱みがあり， ミデアン の 國の 幕は 震う．

  3. Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.
  4. Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.
  5. Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.
  1. 飛び 行くあなたの 矢の 光のために， 電光のようにきらめく， あなたのやりのために， 日も 月もそのすみかに 立ち 止まった．
  2. あなたは 憤って 地を 行きめぐり， 怒って 諸國民を 踏みつけられた．
  3. あなたはあなたの 民を 救うため， あなたの 油そそいだ 者を 救うために 出て 行かれた． あなたは 惡しき 者の 頭を ¿き， 彼を 腰から 首まで 裸にされた． 〔セラ

  4. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
  1. わたしは 聞いて， わたしのからだはわななき， わたしのくちびるはその 聲を 聞いて 震える． 腐れはわたしの 骨に 入り， わたしの 步みは， わたしの 下によろめく． わたしはわれわれに 攻め 寄せる 民の 上に ／惱みの 日の 臨むのを 靜かに 待とう．
  2. いちじくの 木は 花¿かず， ぶどうの 木は 實らず， オリブ の 木の 産はむなしくなり， 田畑は 食物を 生ぜず， おりには 羊が 絶え， 牛舍には 牛がいなくなる．
  3. しかし， わたしは 主によって 樂しみ， わが 救の 神によって 喜ぶ．
  4. 主なる 神はわたしの 力であって， わたしの 足を 雌じかの 足のようにし， わたしに 高い 所を 步ませられる． これを 琴に 合わせ， 聖歌隊の 指揮者によって 歌わせる．
