	스가랴 4:1-7:14 스가랴는 여덟 가지 환상 중 다섯번째로 두 감람나무 사이의 순금 등대 환상, 여섯번째로 날아가는 두루마리 환상, 일곱번째로 에바 안의 여인 환상, 그리고 마지막으로 네 병거 환상을 보았다. 이어 대제사장 여호수아의 대관식을 거행하라는 하나님의 명령이 임했는데, 이는 여덟 가지 환상 중에 예표된 ‘순’과 마찬가지로 메시아를 상징하는 것이었다. 금식 제도가 계속 시행되어야 하는지의 여부를 묻는 벧엘 사람들의 질문에 대해 스가랴는 하나님의 답변을 전하였다.

	환상들과 금식(4:1-7:14)

And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.

And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

わたしと語った天の使がまた來て，わたしを呼びさました．わたしは眠りから呼びさまされた人のようであった．

彼がわたしに向かって「何を見るか」と言ったので，わたしは言った，「わたしが見ていると，すべて金で造られた燭台が一つあって，その上に油を入れる器があり，また燭台の上に七つのともしび皿があり，そのともしび皿は燭台の上にあって，これにおのおの七本ずつの管があります．

また燭台のかたわらに，オリブの木が二本あって，一本は油をいれる器の右にあり，一本はその左にあります」．

わたしはまたわたしと語る天の使に言った，「わが主よ，これらはなんですか」．

わたしと語る天の使は答えて，「あなたはそれがなんであるか知らないのですか」と言ったので，わたしは「わが主よ，知りません」と言った．

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

すると彼はわたしに言った，「ゼルバベルに，主がお告げになる言葉はこれです．万軍の主は仰せられる，これは權勢によらず，能力によらず，わたしの靈によるのである．

大いなる山よ，おまえは何者か．おまえはゼルバベルの前に平地となる．彼は『惠みあれ，これに惠みあれ』と呼ばわりながら，かしら石を引き出すであろう」．

主の言葉がわたしに臨んで言うには，

「ゼルバベルの手はこの宮の礎をすえた．彼の手はこれを完成する．その時あなたがたは万軍の主が，わたしをあなたがたにつかわされたことを知る．

だれでも小さい事の日をいやしめた者は，ゼルバベルの手に，下げ振りのあるのを見て，喜ぶ．これらの七つのものは，あまねく全地を行き來する主の目である」．

Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.

わたしはまた彼に尋ねて，「燭台の左右にある，この二本のオリブの木はなんですか」と言い，

重ねてまた「この二本の金の管によって，油をそれから注ぎ出すオリブの二枝はなんですか」と言うと，

彼はわたしに答えて，「あなたはそれがなんであるか知らないのですか」と言ったので，「わが主よ，知りません」と言った．

すると彼は言った，「これらはふたりの油そそがれた者で，全地の主のかたわらに立つ者です」．

Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.

And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.

Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

わたしがまた目をあげて見ていると，飛んでいる卷物を見た．

彼がわたしに「何を見るか」と言ったので，「飛んでいる卷物を見ます．その長さは二十キュビト，その幅は十キュビトです」と答えた．

すると彼はまた，わたしに言った，「これは全地のおもてに出て行く，のろいの言葉です．すべて盜む者はこれに照して除き去られ，すべて僞り誓う者は，これに照して除き去られるのです．

万軍の主は仰せられます，わたしはこれを出て行かせる．これは盜む者の家に入り，またわたしの名をさして僞り誓う者の家に入り，その家の中に宿って，これをその木と石と共に滅ぼすと」．

わたしと語る天の使は進んで來て，わたしに「目をあげて，この出てきた物が，なんであるかを見なさい」と言った．

And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.

And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.

Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?

わたしが「これはなんですか」と言うと，彼は「この出てきた物は，エパ ¿です」と言い，また「これは全地の罪です」と言った．

そして見よ，鉛のふたを取りあげると，そのエパ ¿の中にひとりの女がすわっていた．

すると彼は「これは罪惡である」と言って，その女をエパ ¿の中に押し入れ，鉛の重しを，その ¿の口に投げかぶせた．

それからわたしが目をあげて見ていると，ふたりの女が出てきた．これに，こうのとりの翼のような翼があり，その翼に風をはらんで，エパ ¿を天と地との間に持ちあげた．

わたしは，わたしと語る天の使に言った，「彼らはエパ ¿を，どこへ持って行くのですか」．

And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

彼はわたしに言った，「シナルの地で，女たちのために家を建てるのです．それが建てられると，彼らはエパ ¿をそこにすえ，それの土台の上に置くのです」．

And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;

And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.

Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?

And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the LORD of all the earth.

わたしがまた目をあげて見ていると，四兩の戰車が二つの山の間から出てきた．その山は靑銅の山であった．

第一の戰車には赤馬を着け，第二の戰車には黑馬を着け，

第三の戰車には白馬を着け，第四の戰車には，まだらのねずみ色の馬を着けていた．

わたしは，わたしと語るみ使に尋ねた，「わが主よ，これらはなんですか」．

天の使は答えて，わたしに言った，「これらは全地の主の前に現れて後，天の四方に出て行くものです．

The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country.

And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth.

Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah;

黑馬を着けた戰車は，北の國をさして出て行き，白馬は西の國をさして出て行き，まだらの馬は南の國をさして出て行くのです」．

馬が出てくると，彼らは，地をあまねくめぐるために，しきりに出たがるのであった．それで彼が「行って，地をあまねくめぐれ」と言うと，彼らは地を行きめぐった．

すると彼はわたしを呼んで，「北の國をさして行く者どもは，北の國でわたしの心を靜まらせてくれた」と言った．

主の言葉がまたわたしに臨んだ，

「バビロンから歸ってきたかの捕囚の中から，ヘルダイ，トビヤおよびエダヤを連れて，その日にゼパニヤの子ヨシヤの家に行き，

Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;

And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:

Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the LORD.

And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.

彼らから金銀を受け取って，一つの冠を造り，それをヨザダクの子である大祭司ヨシュアの頭にかぶらせて，

彼に言いなさい，『万軍の主は，こう仰せられる，見よ，その名を枝という人がある．彼は自分の場所で成長して，主の宮を建てる．

すなわち彼は主の宮を建て，王としての光榮を帶び，その位に座して治める．その位のかたわらに，ひとりの祭司がいて，このふたりの間に平和の一致がある』．

またその冠はヘルダイ，トビヤ，エダヤおよびゼパニヤの子ヨシヤの記念として，主の宮に納められる．

また遠い所の者どもが來て，主の宮を建てることを助ける．そしてあなたがたは万軍の主が，わたしをつかわされたことを知るようになる．あなたがたがもし勵んで，あなたがたの神，主の聲に聞き從うならば，このようになる」．

And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Darius, that the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah in the fourth day of the ninth month, even in Chisleu;

When they had sent unto the house of God Sherezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to pray before the LORD,

And to speak unto the priests which were in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

Then came the word of the LORD of hosts unto me, saying,

Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh month, even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, even to me?

ダリヨス王の第四年の九月，すなわちキスリウという月の四日に，主の言葉がゼカリヤに臨んだ．

その時ベテルの人¿は，シャレゼル，レゲン · メレクおよびその從者をつかわして，主の惠みを請い，

かつ万軍の主の宮にいる祭司に問わせ，かつ預言者に問わせて言った，「わたしは今まで，多年おこなってきたように，五月に泣き悲しみ，かつ斷食すべきでしょうか」．

この時，万軍の主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ，

「地のすべての民，および祭司に告げて言いなさい，あなたがたが七十年の間，五月と七月とに斷食し，かつ泣き悲しんだ時，はたして，わたしのために斷食したか．

And when ye did eat, and when ye did drink, did not ye eat for yourselves, and drink for yourselves?

Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?

And the word of the LORD came unto Zechariah, saying,

Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:

And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

あなたがたが食い飮みする時，それは全く自分のために食い，自分のために飮むのではないか．

昔エルサレムがその周圍の町¿と共に，人が住み，榮えていた時，また南の地および平野にも，人が住んでいた時に，さきの預言者たちによって，主がお告げになった言葉は，これらの事ではなかったか」．

主の言葉が，またゼカリヤに臨んだ，

「万軍の主はこう仰せられる，眞實のさばきを行い，互に相いつくしみ，相あわれみ，

やもめ，みなしご，寄留の他國人および貧しい人を，しえたげてはならない．互に人を害することを，心に圖ってはならない」．

But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.

Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:

But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.

ところが，彼らは聞くことを拒み，肩をそびやかし，耳を鈍くして聞きいれず，

その心を金剛石のようにして，万軍の主がそのみたまにより，さきの預言者によって傳えられた，律法と言葉とに聞き從わなかった．それゆえ，大いなる怒りが，万軍の主から出て，彼らに臨んだのである．

「わたしが呼ばわったけれども，彼らは聞こうとしなかった．そのとおりに，彼らが呼ばわっても，わたしは聞かない」と万軍の主は仰せられる．

「わたしは，つむじ風をもって，彼らを未知のもろもろの國民の中に散らした．こうして彼らが去った後，この地は荒れて行き來する者もなく，この麗しい地は荒れ地となったのである」．
