창세기

  본서는 성경의 전체적 배경을 제공해 주는 시작의 책으로 주전 1440년 경 모세에 의해 기록된 것으로 믿어지고 있다. 본서는 모든 만물의 기원이 하나님의 창조에서 비롯되었으며 특히 인간은 하나님의 형상을 따라 창조되었으나 하나님의 뜻을 거역하여 타락했고 이에 하나님께서는 타락한 인간을 구원하시기 위한 구원의 역사를 펼쳐나가고 계시다는 것을 보여주기 위해 기록되었다.

 

 

창세기 1:1-2:25

 하나님께서 말씀으로 천지 만물을 엿새 동안 창조하시고 제7일째는 안식하셨다. 하나님께서는 특별히 인간을 흙으로 지으시고 에덴 동산을 만들어 그 곳에서 선악을 알게 하는 나무의 실과를 제외한 모든 실과를 먹으며 살게 하셨다. 그리고 아담의 갈빗대를 취하여 돕는 배필, 즉 여자를 만드셨다.
  
  천지창조(1:1-2:3)    
 
  1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
  2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
  3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
  4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
  5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
  1. 初めに， 神は 天地を 創造された．
  2. 地は 混沌であって， 闇が 深淵の 面にあり， 神の 靈が 水の 面を 動いていた．
  3. 神は 言われた． 「光あれ． 」こうして， 光があった．
  4. 神は 光を 見て， 良しとされた． 神は 光と 闇を 分け，
  5. 光を ¿と 呼び， 闇を 夜と 呼ばれた． 夕べがあり， 朝があった． 第一の 日である．
  1. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
  2. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
  3. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
  4. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
  5. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
  1. 神は 言われた． 「水の 中に 大空あれ． 水と 水を 分けよ． 」
  2. 神は 大空を 造り， 大空の 下と 大空の 上に 水を 分けさせられた． そのようになった．
  3. 神は 大空を 天と 呼ばれた． 夕べがあり， 朝があった． 第二の 日である．
  4. 神は 言われた． 「天の 下の 水は 一つ 所に 集まれ． 乾いた 所が 現れよ． 」そのようになった．
  5. 神は 乾いた 所を 地と 呼び， 水の 集まった 所を 海と 呼ばれた． 神はこれを 見て， 良しとされた．
  1. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
  2. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
  3. And the evening and the morning were the third day.
  4. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
  5. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
  1. 神は 言われた． 「地は 草を 芽生えさせよ． 種を 持つ 草と， それぞれの 種を 持つ 實をつける 果樹を， 地に 芽生えさせよ． 」そのようになった．
  2. 地は 草を 芽生えさせ， それぞれの 種を 持つ 草と， それぞれの 種を 持つ 實をつける 木を 芽生えさせた． 神はこれを 見て， 良しとされた．
  3. 夕べがあり， 朝があった． 第三の 日である．
  4. 神は 言われた． 「天の 大空に 光る 物があって， ¿と 夜を 分け， 季節のしるし， 日や 年のしるしとなれ．
  5. 天の 大空に 光る 物があって， 地を 照らせ． 」そのようになった．
  1. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
  2. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
  3. And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
  4. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
  5. And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
  1. 神は 二つの 大きな 光る 物と 星を 造り， 大きな 方に ¿を 治めさせ， 小さな 方に 夜を 治めさせられた．
  2. 神はそれらを 天の 大空に 置いて， 地を 照らさせ，
  3. ¿と 夜を 治めさせ， 光と 闇を 分けさせられた． 神はこれを 見て， 良しとされた．
  4. 夕べがあり， 朝があった． 第四の 日である．
  5. 神は 言われた． 「生き 物が 水の 中に 群がれ． 鳥は 地の 上， 天の 大空の 面を 飛べ． 」
  1. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
  2. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
  3. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
  4. And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
  5. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
  1. 神は 水に 群がるもの， すなわち 大きな 怪物， うごめく 生き 物をそれぞれに， また， 翼ある 鳥をそれぞれに 創造された． 神はこれを 見て， 良しとされた．
  2. 神はそれらのものを 祝福して 言われた． 「産めよ， 增えよ， 海の 水に 滿ちよ． 鳥は 地の 上に 增えよ． 」
  3. 夕べがあり， 朝があった． 第五の 日である．
  4. 神は 言われた． 「地は， それぞれの 生き 物を 産み 出せ． 家畜， 這うもの， 地の ¿をそれぞれに 産み 出せ． 」そのようになった．
  5. 神はそれぞれの 地の ¿， それぞれの 家畜， それぞれの 土を 這うものを 造られた． 神はこれを 見て， 良しとされた．
  1. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
  2. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
  3. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
  4. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
  5. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
  1. 神は 言われた． 「我¿にかたどり， 我¿に 似せて， 人を 造ろう． そして 海の 魚， 空の 鳥， 家畜， 地の ¿， 地を 這うものすべてを 支配させよう． 」
  2. 神は 御自分にかたどって 人を 創造された． 神にかたどって 創造された． 男と 女に 創造された．
  3. 神は 彼らを 祝福して 言われた． 「産めよ， 增えよ， 地に 滿ちて 地を 從わせよ． 海の 魚， 空の 鳥， 地の 上を 這う 生き 物をすべて 支配せよ． 」
  4. 神は 言われた． 「見よ， 全地に 生える， 種を 持つ 草と 種を 持つ 實をつける 木を， すべてあなたたちに 與えよう． それがあなたたちの 食べ 物となる．
  5. 地の ¿， 空の 鳥， 地を 這うものなど， すべて 命あるものにはあらゆる 靑草を 食べさせよう． 」そのようになった．
  1. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
  1. 神はお 造りになったすべてのものを 御覽になった． 見よ， それは 極めて 良かった． 夕べがあり， 朝があった． 第六の 日である．
 
 
  1. Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
  2. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
  3. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
  1. 天地万物は 完成された．
  2. 第七の 日に， 神は 御自分の 仕事を 完成され， 第七の 日に， 神は 御自分の 仕事を 離れ， 安息なさった．
  3. この 日に 神はすべての 創造の 仕事を 離れ， 安息なさったので， 第七の 日を 神は 祝福し， 聖別された．
 
  아담과 하와(2:4-2:25)    
 
  1. These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
  2. And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
  3. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
  4. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
  5. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
  1. これが 天地創造の 由來である． 主なる 神が 地と 天を 造られたとき，
  2. 地上にはまだ 野の 木も， 野の 草も 生えていなかった． 主なる 神が 地上に 雨をお 送りにならなかったからである． また 土を 耕す 人もいなかった．
  3. しかし， 水が 地下から 湧き 出て， 土の 面をすべて 潤した．
  4. 主なる 神は， 土（アダマ ）の 塵で 人（アダム ）を 形づくり， その 鼻に 命の 息を 吹き 入れられた． 人はこうして 生きる 者となった．
  5. 主なる 神は， 東の 方の エデン に 園を 設け， 自ら 形づくった 人をそこに 置かれた．
  1. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
  2. And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
  3. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
  4. And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
  5. And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
  1. 主なる 神は， 見るからに 好ましく， 食べるに 良いものをもたらすあらゆる 木を 地に 生えいでさせ， また 園の 中央には， 命の 木と 善惡の 知識の 木を 生えいでさせられた．
  2. エデン から 一つの 川が 流れ 出ていた． 園を 潤し， そこで 分かれて， 四つの 川となっていた．
  3. 第一の 川の 名は ピション で， 金を 産出する ハビラ 地方全域を 巡っていた．
  4. その 金は 良質であり， そこではまた， ∵≡の 類や ラピス · ラズリ も 産出した．
  5. 第二の 川の 名は ギホン で， クシュ 地方全域を 巡っていた．
  1. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
  2. And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
  3. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
  4. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
  5. And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
  1. 第三の 川の 名は チグリス で， アシュル の 東の 方を 流れており， 第四の 川は ユ ― フラテス であった．
  2. 主なる 神は 人を 連れて 來て， エデン の 園に 住まわせ， 人がそこを 耕し， 守るようにされた．
  3. 主なる 神は 人に 命じて 言われた． 「園のすべての 木から 取って 食べなさい．
  4. ただし， 善惡の 知識の 木からは， 決して 食べてはならない． 食べると 必ず 死んでしまう． 」
  5. 主なる 神は 言われた． 「人が 獨りでいるのは 良くない． 彼に 合う 助ける 者を 造ろう． 」
  1. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
  2. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
  3. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
  4. And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
  5. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
  1. 主なる 神は， 野のあらゆる ¿， 空のあらゆる 鳥を 土で 形づくり， 人のところへ 持って 來て， 人がそれぞれをどう 呼ぶか 見ておられた． 人が 呼ぶと， それはすべて， 生き 物の 名となった．
  2. 人はあらゆる 家畜， 空の 鳥， 野のあらゆる ¿に 名を 付けたが， 自分に 合う 助ける 者は 見つけることができなかった．
  3. 主なる 神はそこで， 人を 深い 眠りに 落とされた． 人が 眠り ¿むと， あばら 骨の 一部を 拔き 取り， その 跡を 肉でふさがれた．
  4. そして， 人から 拔き 取ったあばら 骨で 女を 造り 上げられた． 主なる 神が 彼女を 人のところへ 連れて 來られると，
  5. 人は 言った． 「ついに， これこそ ／わたしの 骨の 骨 ／わたしの 肉の 肉． これをこそ， 女（イシャ ―）と 呼ぼう ／まさに， 男（イシュ ）から 取られたものだから． 」
  1. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
  2. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
  1. こういうわけで， 男は 父母を 離れて 女と 結ばれ， 二人は 一體となる．
  2. 人と 妻は 二人とも 裸であったが， 恥ずかしがりはしなかった．
 
  궁창(穹蒼, 1:6)  ‘두들겨 넓게 펼친 판’이라는 의미로 대기권의 하늘을 가리킴
