- Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
- But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
- But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
- So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
- He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

- イエス は， 別のたとえを 持ち 出して 言われた． 「天の 國は 次のようにたとえられる． ある 人が 良い 種を 畑に 蒔いた．
- 人¿が 眠っている 間に， 敵が 來て， 麥の 中に 毒麥を 蒔いて 行った．
- 芽が 出て， 實ってみると， 毒麥も 現れた．
- 僕たちが 主人のところに 來て 言った． 『だんなさま， 畑には 良い 種をお 蒔きになったではありませんか． どこから 毒麥が 入ったのでしょう． 』
- 主人は， 『敵の 仕業だ 』と 言った． そこで， 僕たちが， 『では， 行って 拔き 集めておきましょうか 』と 言うと，

- But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
- Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
- Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
- Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
- Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

- 主人は 言った． 『いや， 毒麥を 集めるとき， 麥まで 一緖に 拔くかもしれない．
- 刈り 入れまで， 兩方とも 育つままにしておきなさい． 刈り 入れの 時， 「まず 毒麥を 集め， 燒くために 束にし， 麥の 方は 集めて 倉に 入れなさい 」と， 刈り 取る 者に 言いつけよう． 』」
- イエス は， 別のたとえを 持ち 出して， 彼らに 言われた． 「天の 國はからし 種に 似ている． 人がこれを 取って 畑に 蒔けば，
- どんな 種よりも 小さいのに， 成長するとどの 野菜よりも 大きくなり， 空の 鳥が 來て 枝に 巢を 作るほどの 木になる． 」
- また， 別のたとえをお 話しになった． 「天の 國は パン 種に 似ている． 女がこれを 取って 三 サトン の 粉に 混ぜると， やがて 全體が 膨れる． 」

- All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
- That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
- Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
- He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
- The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

- イエス はこれらのことをみな， たとえを 用いて 群衆に 語られ， たとえを 用いないでは 何も 語られなかった．
- それは， 預言者を 通して 言われていたことが 實現するためであった． 「わたしは 口を 開いてたとえを 用い， ／天地創造の 時から 隱されていたことを 告げる． 」
- それから， イエス は 群衆を 後に 殘して 家にお 入りになった． すると， 弟子たちがそばに 寄って 來て， 「畑の 毒麥のたとえを 說明してください 」と 言った．
- イエス はお 答えになった． 「良い 種を 蒔く 者は 人の 子，
- 畑は 世界， 良い 種は 御國の 子ら， 毒麥は 惡い 者の 子らである．

- The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
- As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
- The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
- And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
- Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

- 毒麥を 蒔いた 敵は 惡魔， 刈り 入れは 世の 終わりのことで， 刈り 入れる 者は 天使たちである．
- だから， 毒麥が 集められて 火で 燒かれるように， 世の 終わりにもそうなるのだ．
- 人の 子は 天使たちを 遣わし， つまずきとなるものすべてと 不法を 行う 者どもを 自分の 國から 集めさせ，
- 燃え 盛る 爐の 中に 投げ ¿ませるのである． 彼らは， そこで 泣きわめいて 齒ぎしりするだろう．
- そのとき， 正しい 人¿はその 父の 國で 太陽のように 輝く． 耳のある 者は 聞きなさい． 」
