	출애굽기 7:1-8:32 모세와 아론은 바로를 다시 만나 애굽의 모든 물을 피로 변하게 하는 재앙을 행하였으나 바로는 마음이 강퍅하여 모세의 말을 듣지 않았다. 그러므로 모세는 개구리 재앙, 이 재앙, 파리 재앙을 바로 앞에서 행하였다. 그러나 여전히 바로의 마음이 완강하여 백성을 보내지 않았다.

	바로와의 2차 대면(7:1-7:25)

And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.

Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.

And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.

主はモ ― セに言われた．「見よ，わたしは，あなたをファラオに對しては神の代わりとし，あなたの兄アロンはあなたの預言者となる．

わたしが命じるすべてのことをあなたが語れば，あなたの兄アロンが，イスラエルの人¿を國から去らせるよう，ファラオに語るであろう．

しかし，わたしはファラオの心をかたくなにするので，わたしがエジプトの國でしるしや奇跡を繰り返したとしても，

ファラオはあなたたちの言うことを聞かない．わたしはエジプトに手を下し，大いなる審判によって，わたしの部隊，わたしの民イスラエルの人¿をエジプトの國から導き出す．

わたしがエジプトに對して手を伸ばし，イスラエルの人¿をその中から導き出すとき，エジプト人は，わたしが主であることを知るようになる．」

And Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them, so did they.

And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spake unto Pharaoh.

And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.

And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

モ ― セとアロンは，主が命じられたとおりに行った．

ファラオに語ったとき，モ ― セは八十歲，アロンは八十三歲であった．

主はモ ― セとアロンに言われた．

「もし，ファラオがあなたたちに向かって，『奇跡を行ってみよ』と求めるならば，あなたはアロンに，『杖を取って，ファラオの前に投げよ』と言うと，杖は蛇になる．」

モ ― セとアロンはファラオのもとに行き，主の命じられたとおりに行った．アロンが自分の杖をファラオとその家臣たちの前に投げると，杖は蛇になった．

Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.

For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.

Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river's brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.

そこでファラオも賢者や呪術師を召し出した．エジプトの魔術師もまた，秘術を用いて同じことを行った．

それぞれ自分の杖を投げると，蛇になったが，アロンの杖は彼らの杖をのみ ¿んだ．

しかし，ファラオの心はかたくなになり，彼らの言うことを聞かなかった．主が仰せになったとおりである．

主はモ ― セに言われた．「ファラオの心は頑迷で，民を去らせない．

明朝，ファラオのところへ行きなさい．彼は水邊に下りて來る．あなたは蛇になったあの杖を手に持ち，ナイル川の岸邊に立って，彼を待ち受け，

And thou shalt say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.

Thus saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.

And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

彼に言いなさい．ヘブライ人の神，主がわたしをあなたのもとに遣わして，『わたしの民を去らせ，荒れ野でわたしに仕えさせよ』と命じられたのに，あなたは今に至るまで聞き入れない．

主はこう言われた．『このことによって，あなたは，わたしが主であることを知る』と．見よ，わたしの手にある杖でナイル川の水を打つと，水は血に變わる．

川の魚は死に，川は惡臭を放つ．エジプト人はナイル川の水を飮むのを嫌がるようになる．」

主は更にモ ― セに言われた．「アロンに言いなさい．『杖を取り，エジプトの水という水の上，河川，水路，池，水たまりの上に手を伸ばし，血に變えなさい』と．エジプトの國中，木や石までも血に浸るであろう．」

モ ― セとアロンは，主の命じられたとおりにした．彼は杖を振り上げて，ファラオとその家臣の前でナイル川の水を打った．川の水はことごとく血に變わり，

And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.

And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said.

And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he set his heart to this also.

And all the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river.

And seven days were fulfilled, after that the LORD had smitten the river.

川の魚は死に，川は惡臭を放ち，エジプト人はナイル川の水を飮めなくなった．こうして，エジプトの國中が血に浸った．

ところが，エジプトの魔術師も秘術を用いて同じことを行ったのでファラオの心はかたくなになり，二人の言うことを聞かなかった．主が仰せになったとおりである．

ファラオは王宮に引き返し，このことをも心に留めなかった．

エジプト人は皆，飮み水を求めて，ナイル川の周りを掘った．ナイルの水が飮めなくなったからである．

主がナイル川を打たれてから七日たつと，

And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:

And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneadingtroughs:

And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

主は更にモ ― セに言われた．「アロンにこう言いなさい．杖を取って，河川，水路，池の上に手を伸ばし，蛙をエジプトの國に這い上がらせよ．」

アロンがエジプトの水の上に手を差し伸べると，蛙が這い上がってきてエジプトの國を覆った．

ところが，魔術師も秘術を用いて同じことをし，蛙をエジプトの國に這い上がらせた．

ファラオはモ ― セとアロンを呼んで，「主に祈願して，蛙がわたしとわたしの民のもとから退くようにしてもらいたい．そうすれば，民を去らせ，主に ¿牲をささげさせよう」と言うと，

モ ― セはファラオに答えた．「あなたのお望みの時を言ってください．いつでもあなたとあなたの家臣と民のために祈願して，蛙をあなたとあなたの家から斷ち，ナイル川以外には殘らぬようにしましょう．」

And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.

And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?

And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

ファラオが，「明日」と言うと，モ ― セは答えた．「あなたの言われるとおりにしましょう．あなたは，我¿の神，主のような神がほかにいないことを知るようになります．

蛙はあなたとあなたの王宮，家臣や民の間から退いて，ナイル川以外には殘らなくなるでしょう．」

モ ― セとアロンがファラオのもとから出て來ると，モ ― セはファラオを惱ました蛙のことで主に訴えた．

主はモ ― セの願いどおりにされ，蛙は家からも庭からも畑からも死に絶えた．

人¿はその死骸を幾山にも積み上げたので，國中に惡臭が滿ちた．

And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.

And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.

And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank.

But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

ファラオは一息つく暇ができたのを見ると，心を頑迷にして，また二人の言うことを聞き入れなくなった．主が仰せになったとおりである．

主はモ ― セに言われた．「アロンに言いなさい．『杖を差し伸べて土の塵を打ち，ぶよにさせてエジプト全土に及ぼせ』と．」

彼らは言われたとおりにし，アロンが杖を持った手を差し伸べ土の塵を打つと，土の塵はすべてぶよとなり，エジプト全土に廣がって人と家畜を襲った．

魔術師も秘術を用いて同じようにぶよを出そうとしたが，できなかった．ぶよが人と家畜を襲ったので，

魔術師はファラオに，「これは神の指の ¿きでございます」と言ったが，ファラオの心はかたくなになり，彼らの言うことを聞かなかった．主が仰せになったとおりである．

And the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast.

Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

主はモ ― セに言われた．「明朝早く起きて，水邊に下りて來るファラオを出迎えて，彼に言いなさい．主はこう言われた．『わたしの民を去らせ，わたしに仕えさせよ．

もしあなたがわたしの民を去らせないならば，見よ，わたしはあなたとあなたの家臣とあなたの民とあなたの家にあぶを送る．エジプトの人家にも人が ¿いている畑地にもあぶが滿ちるであろう．

しかし，その日，わたしはわたしの民の住むゴシェン地方を區別し，そこにあぶを入り ¿ませない．あなたはこうして，主なるわたしがこの地のただ中にいることを知るようになる．

わたしは，わたしの民をあなたの民から區別して ·う．明日，このしるしが起こる』と．」

主がそのとおり行われたので，あぶの大群がファラオの王宮や家臣の家に入り，エジプトの全土に及んだ．國はあぶのゆえに荒れ果てた．

Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.

And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.

And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.

And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land.

ファラオがモ ― セとアロンを呼び寄せて，「行って，あなたたちの神にこの國の中で ¿牲をささげるがよい」と言うと，

モ ― セは答えた．「そうすることはできません．我¿の神，主にささげる ¿牲は，エジプト人のいとうものです．もし，彼らの前でエジプト人のいとうものをささげれば，我¿を石で打ち殺すのではありませんか．

我¿の神，主に ¿牲をささげるには，神が命じられたように，三日の道のりを荒れ野に入らねばなりません．」

ファラオが，「よし，わたしはあなたたちを去らせる．荒れ野であなたたちの神，主に ¿牲をささげるがよい．ただし，あまり遠くへ行ってはならない．わたしのためにも祈願してくれ」と言うと，

モ ― セは答えた．「では，あなたのもとから退出しましたら，早速主に祈願しましょう．明日になれば，あぶはファラオとその家臣と民の間から飛び去るでしょう．ただ，二度と，主に ¿牲をささげるために民を去らせないなどと言って，我¿を欺かないでください．」

And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.

And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: intreat for me.

And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.

And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the LORD.

モ ― セはファラオのもとから退出すると，主に祈願した．

主はモ ― セの願いどおりにされ，あぶはファラオと家臣と民の間からすべて飛び去り，一匹も殘らなかった．

しかし，ファラオは今度もまた心を頑迷にして民を去らせなかった．

And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.

And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.
