민수기

  본서는 이스라엘 민족의 광야 여정을 기록한 책으로, 이스라엘의 광야 생활 동안 일어났던 일들과 불순종에 대한 하나님의 심판과 자비를 기록하고 있다.

  시내 산에서 하나님과 언약을 맺은 이스라엘은 효율적인 광야 행군을 위한 군대 조직 편성의 기초 작업으로 1차 인구 조사를 실시한다. 그러나 시내 산을 떠난 즉시 그들은 불평하면서 모세에게 대항하고, 가데스에서 하나님을 반역한다. 그 결과 여호수아와 갈렙을 제외한 출애굽 제1세대는 광야에서 죽는다. 그 후 출애굽 제2세대는 마침내 약속의 땅인 가나안 동쪽 경계선인 요단 가 모압 평지에 도착하여 가나안 정복 전쟁 수행과 땅 분배를 위한 2차 인구 조사를 실시한다.

 

 

민수기 1:1-1:54

 하나님께서는 모세에게 백성들의 효과적 진군을 위해 인구 조사를 명령하셨다. 조사 결과, 20세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈 만한 남자의 수가 603,550명으로 집계되었고, 인구 조사에 제외된 레위인들은 성막 봉사자로 선택되었다.
  
  첫번째 인구 조사(1:1-1:54)    
 
  1. And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
  2. Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;
  3. From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
  4. And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.
  5. And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.
  1. イスラエル の 人¿が エジプト の 國を 出た 翌年の 第二の 月の 一日， シナイ の 荒れ 野にいたとき， 主は 臨在の 幕屋で モ ― セ に 仰せになった．
  2. イスラエル の 人¿の 共同體全體の 人口調査をしなさい． 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って， 男子全員を 一人一人点呼し， 戶籍登錄をしなさい．
  3. あなたと アロン は， イスラエル の 中から 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者を 部隊に 組んで 登錄しなさい．
  4. 部族ごとに 一人ずつ 出してあなたたちの 助けをさせなさい． それは， 家系の 長でなければならない．
  5. あなたたちに 協力すべき 人¿の 名は 次のとおりである． ルベン 族では， シェデウル の 子 エリツル ．
  1. Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
  2. Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
  3. Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
  4. Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.
  5. Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
  1. シメオン 族では， ツリシャダイ の 子 シェルミエル ．
  2. ユダ 族では， アミナダブ の 子 ナフション ．
  3. イサカル 族では， ツアル の 子 ネタンエル ．
  4. ゼブルン 族では， ヘロン の 子 エリアブ ．
  5. ヨセフ の 子のうち エフライム 族では， アミフド の 子 エリシャマ ． マナセ 族では， ペダツル の 子 ガムリエル ．
  1. Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.
  2. Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
  3. Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran.
  4. Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
  5. Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.
  1. ベニヤミン 族では， ギドオニ の 子 アビダン ．
  2. ダン 族では， アミシャダイ の 子 アヒエゼル ．
  3. アシェル 族では， オクラン の 子 パグイエル ．
  4. ガド 族では， デウエル の 子 エルヤサフ ．
  5. ナフタリ 族では， エナン の 子 アヒラ ．
  1. These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.
  2. And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:
  3. And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.
  4. As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
  5. And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  1. 以上が， 共同體の 召集者であり， 父祖以來の 部族の 指導者で， イスラエル の 部隊の 長である．
  2. モ ― セ と アロン はこれらの 任命された 人¿を 從え，
  3. 第二の 月の 一日， 共同體全體を 召集し， 二十歲以上の 男子を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 一人一人点呼し， 戶籍登錄をした．
  4. モ ― セ はこのように， 主が 命じられたとおり， シナイ の 荒れ 野で 彼らを 登錄した．
  5. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上のすべての 男子を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 一人一人点呼し， 戶籍登錄をすると， イスラエル の 長子 ルベン から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  1. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
  2. Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  3. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
  4. Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  5. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.
  1. すなわち， ルベン 族の 登錄された 者は 四万六千五百人．
  2. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上のすべての 男子を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 一人一人点呼し， 戶籍登錄をすると， シメオン から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  3. すなわち， シメオン 族の 登錄された 者は 五万九千三百人．
  4. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 戶籍登錄をすると， ガド から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  5. すなわち， ガド 族の 登錄された 者は 四万五千六百五十人．
  1. Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  2. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.
  3. Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  4. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
  5. Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  1. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 戶籍登錄をすると， ユダ から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  2. すなわち， ユダ 族の 登錄された 者は 七万四千六百人．
  3. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 戶籍登錄をすると， イサカル から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  4. すなわち， イサカル 族の 登錄された 者は 五万四千四百人．
  5. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 戶籍登錄をすると， ゼブルン から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  1. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
  2. Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  3. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.
  4. Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  5. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
  1. すなわち， ゼブルン 族の 登錄された 者は 五万七千四百人．
  2. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 戶籍登錄をすると， ヨセフ の 子のうち， エフライム から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  3. すなわち， エフライム 族の 登錄された 者は 四万五百人．
  4. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 戶籍登錄をすると， マナセ から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  5. すなわち， マナセ 族の 登錄された 者は 三万二千二百人．
  1. Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  2. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
  3. Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  4. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.
  5. Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  1. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 戶籍登錄をすると， ベニヤミン から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  2. すなわち， ベニヤミン 族の 登錄された 者は 三万五千四百人．
  3. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 戶籍登錄をすると， ダン から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  4. すなわち， ダン 族の 登錄された 者は 六万二千七百人．
  5. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 戶籍登錄をすると， アシェル から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  1. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
  2. Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
  3. Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
  4. These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
  5. So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;
  1. すなわち， アシェル 族の 登錄された 者は 四万一千五百人．
  2. 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者を 氏族ごとに， 家系に 從って 戶籍登錄をすると， ナフタリ から 生まれた 子孫については 次のようになる．
  3. すなわち， ナフタリ 族の 登錄された 者は 五万三千四百人．
  4. 以上が， モ ― セ ， アロン および イスラエル の 指導者十二名によって 登錄された 者の 數である． この 十二名は， それぞれ 家系の 代表者であった．
  5. イスラエル の 人¿のうち， 家系に 從って 登錄された 者はすべて， イスラエル の 中から 兵役に 就くことのできる 二十歲以上の 者であって，
  1. Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
  2. But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
  3. For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,
  4. Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:
  5. But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.
  1. 登錄された 者の 總計は 六十万三千五百五十人であった．
  2. レビ 人は， 父祖以來の 部族に 從って 彼らと 共に 登錄されることはなかった．
  3. 主が モ ― セ にこう 仰せになったからである．
  4. 「レビ 族のみは， イスラエル の 人¿と 共に 登錄したり， その 人口調査をしたりしてはならない．
  5. むしろ， レビ 人には ¿の 幕屋， その 祭具および 他の 付屬品にかかわる 任務を 與え， 幕屋とすべての 祭具の 運搬と 管理をさせ， 幕屋の 周圍に 宿營させなさい．
  1. And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
  2. And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.
  3. But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
  4. And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
  1. 移動する 際には， レビ 人が 幕屋を 疊み， 宿營する 際には レビ 人がそれを 組み 立てる． それ 以外の 者が 幕屋に 近づくならば， 死刑に 處せられる．
  2. イスラエル の 人¿はそれぞれ 所定の 位置に， 部隊ごとにその 旗を 揭げて 宿營するが，
  3. レビ 人は ¿の 幕屋の 周圍に 宿營し， 怒りが イスラエル の 人¿の 共同體に 臨まないように， ¿の 幕屋の 警護の 任に 當たらねばならない． 」
  4. イスラエル の 人¿は， 主が モ ― セ に 命じられたとおりにすべて 行った．
