- Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
- Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
- Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
- Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
- Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

- わたしは 咎のうちに 産み 落とされ ／母がわたしを 身ごもったときも ／わたしは 罪のうちにあったのです．
- あなたは 秘儀ではなくまことを 望み ／秘術を 排して 知惠を 悟らせてくださいます．
- ヒソプ の 枝でわたしの 罪を 拂ってください ／わたしが 淸くなるように． わたしを 洗ってください ／雪よりも 白くなるように．
- 喜び 祝う 聲を 聞かせてください ／あなたによって ¿かれたこの 骨が 喜び 躍るように．
- わたしの 罪に 御顔を 向けず ／咎をことごとくぬぐってください．

- Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
- Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
- Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
- O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
- For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

- 神よ， わたしの 內に 淸い 心を 創造し ／新しく 確かな 靈を 授けてください．
- 御前からわたしを 退けず ／あなたの 聖なる 靈を 取り 上げないでください．
- 御救いの 喜びを 再びわたしに 味わわせ ／自由の 靈によって 支えてください．
- わたしはあなたの 道を 敎えます ／あなたに 背いている 者に ／罪人が 御もとに 立ち 歸るように．
- 神よ， わたしの 救いの 神よ ／流血の 災いからわたしを 救い 出してください． 惠みの 御業をこの 舌は 喜び 歌います．

- The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
- Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
- Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
