- And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
- And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:
- For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.
- And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
- Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

- イエス が 歸って 來られると， 群衆は 喜んで 迎えた． 人¿は 皆， イエス を 待っていたからである．
- そこへ， ヤイロ という 人が 來た． この 人は 會堂長であった． 彼は イエス の 足もとにひれ 伏して， 自分の 家に 來てくださるようにと 願った．
- 十二歲ぐらいの 一人娘がいたが， 死にかけていたのである． イエス がそこに 行かれる 途中， 群衆が 周りに 押し 寄せて 來た．
- ときに， 十二年このかた 出血が 止まらず， 醫者に 全財産を 使い 果たしたが， だれからも 治してもらえない 女がいた．
- この 女が 近寄って 來て， 後ろから イエス の 服の 房に 觸れると， 直ちに 出血が 止まった．

- And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
- And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
- And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
- And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
- While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

- イエス は， 「わたしに 觸れたのはだれか 」と 言われた． 人¿は 皆， 自分ではないと 答えたので， ペトロ が， 「先生， 群衆があなたを 取り 卷いて， 押し 合っているのです 」と 言った．
- しかし， イエス は， 「だれかがわたしに 觸れた． わたしから 力が 出て 行ったのを 感じたのだ 」と 言われた．
- 女は 隱しきれないと 知って， 震えながら 進み 出てひれ 伏し， 觸れた 理由とたちまちいやされた 次第とを 皆の 前で 話した．
- イエス は 言われた． 「娘よ， あなたの 信仰があなたを 救った． 安心して 行きなさい． 」
- イエス がまだ 話しておられるときに， 會堂長の 家から 人が 來て 言った． 「お 孃さんは 亡くなりました． この 上， 先生を 煩わすことはありません． 」

- But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
- And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
- And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
- And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
- And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.

- イエス は， これを 聞いて 會堂長に 言われた． 「恐れることはない． ただ 信じなさい． そうすれば， 娘は 救われる． 」
- イエス はその 家に 着くと， ペトロ ， ヨハネ ， ヤコブ ， それに 娘の 父母のほかには， だれも 一緖に 入ることをお 許しにならなかった．
- 人¿は 皆， 娘のために 泣き 悲しんでいた． そこで， イエス は 言われた． 「泣くな． 死んだのではない． 眠っているのだ． 」
- 人¿は， 娘が 死んだことを 知っていたので， イエス をあざ 笑った．
- イエス は 娘の 手を 取り， 「娘よ， 起きなさい 」と 呼びかけられた．

- And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.
- And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.

- すると 娘は， その 靈が 戾って， すぐに 起き 上がった． イエス は， 娘に 食べ 物を 與えるように 指圖をされた．
- 娘の 兩親は 非常に 驚いた． イエス は， この 出來事をだれにも 話さないようにとお 命じになった．
