- And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.
- But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.
- And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.
- But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.
- If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

- イエス は 惡靈を 追い 出しておられたが， それは 口を 利けなくする 惡靈であった． 惡靈が 出て 行くと， 口の 利けない 人がものを 言い 始めたので， 群衆は 驚嘆した．
- しかし， 中には， 「あの 男は 惡靈の 頭 ベルゼブル の 力で 惡靈を 追い 出している 」と 言う 者や，
- イエス を 試そうとして， 天からのしるしを 求める 者がいた．
- しかし， イエス は 彼らの 心を 見拔いて 言われた． 「內輪で 爭えば， どんな 國でも 荒れ 果て， 家は 重なり 合って 倒れてしまう．
- あなたたちは， わたしが ベルゼブル の 力で 惡靈を 追い 出していると 言うけれども， サタン が 內輪もめすれば， どうしてその 國は 成り 立って 行くだろうか．

- And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
- But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
- When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
- But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.
- He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

- わたしが ベルゼブル の 力で 惡靈を 追い 出すのなら， あなたたちの 仲間は 何の 力で 追い 出すのか． だから， 彼ら 自身があなたたちを 裁く 者となる．
- しかし， わたしが 神の 指で 惡靈を 追い 出しているのであれば， 神の 國はあなたたちのところに 來ているのだ．
- 强い 人が 武裝して 自分の 屋敷を 守っているときには， その 持ち 物は 安全である．
- しかし， もっと 强い 者が 襲って 來てこの 人に 勝つと， 賴みの 武具をすべて 奪い 取り， 分捕り 品を 分配する．
- わたしに 味方しない 者はわたしに 敵對し， わたしと 一緖に 集めない 者は 散らしている． 」

- When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
- And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
- Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
- And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
- But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

- 「汚れた 靈は， 人から 出て 行くと， 砂漠をうろつき， 休む 場所を 探すが， 見つからない． それで， 『出て 來たわが 家に 戾ろう 』と 言う．
- そして， 戾ってみると， 家は 掃除をして， 整えられていた．
- そこで， 出かけて 行き， 自分よりも 惡いほかの 七つの 靈を 連れて 來て， 中に 入り ¿んで， 住み 着く． そうなると， その 人の 後の 狀態は 前よりも 惡くなる． 」
- イエス がこれらのことを 話しておられると， ある 女が 群衆の 中から 聲高らかに 言った． 「なんと 幸いなことでしょう， あなたを 宿した 胎， あなたが 吸った 乳房は． 」
- しかし， イエス は 言われた． 「むしろ， 幸いなのは 神の 言葉を 聞き， それを 守る 人である． 」

- And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
- For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.
- The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
- The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
- No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

- 群衆の 數がますます 增えてきたので， イエス は 話し 始められた． 「今の 時代の 者たちはよこしまだ． しるしを 欲しがるが， ヨナ のしるしのほかには， しるしは 與えられない．
- つまり， ヨナ が ニネベ の 人¿に 對してしるしとなったように， 人の 子も 今の 時代の 者たちに 對してしるしとなる．
- 南の 國の 女王は， 裁きの 時， 今の 時代の 者たちと 一緖に 立ち 上がり， 彼らを 罪に 定めるであろう． この 女王は ソロモン の 知惠を 聞くために， 地の 果てから 來たからである． ここに， ソロモン にまさるものがある．
- また， ニネベ の 人¿は 裁きの 時， 今の 時代の 者たちと 一緖に 立ち 上がり， 彼らを 罪に 定めるであろう． ニネベ の 人¿は， ヨナ の 說敎を 聞いて 悔い 改めたからである． ここに， ヨナ にまさるものがある． 」
- 「ともし 火をともして， それを 穴藏の 中や， 升の 下に 置く 者はいない． 入って 來る 人に 光が 見えるように， 燭台の 上に 置く．

- The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
- Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
- If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.

- あなたの 體のともし 火は 目である． 目が 澄んでいれば， あなたの 全身が 明るいが， 濁っていれば， 體も 暗い．
- だから， あなたの 中にある 光が 消えていないか 調べなさい．
- あなたの 全身が 明るく， 少しも 暗いところがなければ， ちょうど， ともし 火がその 輝きであなたを 照らすときのように， 全身は 輝いている． 」
