- And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
- And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
- Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
- I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship, they may receive me into their houses.
- So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?

- イエス は， 弟子たちにも 次のように 言われた． 「ある 金持ちに 一人の 管理人がいた． この 男が 主人の 財産を 無馱使いしていると， 告げ 口をする 者があった．
- そこで， 主人は 彼を 呼びつけて 言った． 『お 前について 聞いていることがあるが， どうなのか． 會計の 報告を 出しなさい． もう 管理を 任せておくわけにはいかない． 』
- 管理人は 考えた． 『どうしようか． 主人はわたしから 管理の 仕事を 取り 上げようとしている． 土を 掘る 力もないし， 物乞いをするのも 恥ずかしい．
- そうだ． こうしよう． 管理の 仕事をやめさせられても， 自分を 家に 迎えてくれるような 者たちを 作ればいいのだ． 』
- そこで， 管理人は 主人に 借りのある 者を 一人一人呼んで， まず 最初の 人に， 『わたしの 主人にいくら 借りがあるのか 』と 言った．

- And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
- Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
- And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
- And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
- He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

- 『油百 バトス 』と 言うと， 管理人は 言った． 『これがあなたの 證文だ． 急いで， 腰を 掛けて， 五十 バトス と 書き 直しなさい． 』
- また 別の 人には， 『あなたは， いくら 借りがあるのか 』と 言った． 『小麥百 コロス 』と 言うと， 管理人は 言った． 『これがあなたの 證文だ． 八十 コロス と 書き 直しなさい． 』
- 主人は， この 不正な 管理人の 拔け 目のないやり 方をほめた． この 世の 子らは， 自分の 仲間に 對して， 光の 子らよりも 賢くふるまっている．
- そこで， わたしは 言っておくが， 不正にまみれた 富で 友達を 作りなさい． そうしておけば， 金がなくなったとき， あなたがたは 永遠の 住まいに 迎え 入れてもらえる．
- ごく 小さな 事に 忠實な 者は， 大きな 事にも 忠實である． ごく 小さな 事に 不忠實な 者は， 大きな 事にも 不忠實である．

- If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
- And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?
- No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
- And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.
- And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

- だから， 不正にまみれた 富について 忠實でなければ， だれがあなたがたに 本當に 價値あるものを 任せるだろうか．
- また， 他人のものについて 忠實でなければ， だれがあなたがたのものを 與えてくれるだろうか．
- どんな 召し 使いも 二人の 主人に 仕えることはできない． 一方を 憎んで 他方を 愛するか， 一方に 親しんで 他方を 輕んじるか， どちらかである． あなたがたは， 神と 富とに 仕えることはできない． 」
- 金に 執着する ファリサイ 派の 人¿が， この 一部始終を 聞いて， イエス をあざ 笑った．
- そこで， イエス は 言われた． 「あなたたちは 人に 自分の 正しさを 見せびらかすが， 神はあなたたちの 心をご 存じである． 人に 尊ばれるものは， 神には 忌み 嫌われるものだ．

- The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
- And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
- Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

- 律法と 預言者は， ヨハネ の 時までである． それ 以來， 神の 國の 福音が 告げ 知らされ， だれもが 力ずくでそこに 入ろうとしている．
- しかし， 律法の 文字の 一畵がなくなるよりは， 天地の 消えうせる 方が 易しい．
- 妻を 離緣して 他の 女を 妻にする 者はだれでも， 姦通の 罪を 犯すことになる． 離緣された 女を 妻にする 者も 姦通の 罪を 犯すことになる． 」
