- And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
- Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
- And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
- And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
- For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

- ファリサイ 派の 人¿が， 神の 國はいつ 來るのかと 尋ねたので， イエス は 答えて 言われた． 「神の 國は， 見える 形では 來ない．
- 『ここにある 』『あそこにある 』と 言えるものでもない． 實に， 神の 國はあなたがたの 間にあるのだ． 」
- それから， イエス は 弟子たちに 言われた． 「あなたがたが， 人の 子の 日を 一日だけでも 見たいと 望む 時が 來る． しかし， 見ることはできないだろう．
- 『見よ， あそこだ 』『見よ， ここだ 』と 人¿は 言うだろうが， 出て 行ってはならない． また， その 人¿の 後を 追いかけてもいけない．
- 稻妻がひらめいて， 大空の 端から 端へと 輝くように， 人の 子もその 日に 現れるからである．

- But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
- And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
- They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
- Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
- But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

- しかし， 人の 子はまず 必ず， 多くの 苦しみを 受け， 今の 時代の 者たちから 排斥されることになっている．
- ノア の 時代にあったようなことが， 人の 子が 現れるときにも 起こるだろう．
- ノア が 箱舟に 入るその 日まで， 人¿は 食べたり 飮んだり， めとったり 嫁いだりしていたが， 洪水が 襲って 來て， 一人殘らず 滅ぼしてしまった．
- ロト の 時代にも 同じようなことが 起こった． 人¿は 食べたり 飮んだり， 買ったり 賣ったり， 植えたり 建てたりしていたが，
- ロト が ソドム から 出て 行ったその 日に， 火と 硫黃が 天から 降ってきて， 一人殘らず 滅ぼしてしまった．

- Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
- In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
- Remember Lot's wife.
- Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
- I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

- 人の 子が 現れる 日にも， 同じことが 起こる．
- その 日には， 屋上にいる 者は， 家の 中に 家財道具があっても， それを 取り 出そうとして 下に 降りてはならない． 同じように， 畑にいる 者も 歸ってはならない．
- ロト の 妻のことを 思い 出しなさい．
- 自分の 命を 生かそうと 努める 者は， それを 失い， それを 失う 者は， かえって 保つのである．
- 言っておくが， その 夜一つの 寢室に 二人の 男が 寢ていれば， 一人は 連れて 行かれ， 他の 一人は 殘される．

- Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
- Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
- And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

- 二人の 女が 一緖に 臼をひいていれば， 一人は 連れて 行かれ， 他の 一人は 殘される． 」
- ＊畑に 二人の 男がいれば， 一人は 連れて 行かれ， 他の 一人は 殘される．
- そこで 弟子たちが， 「主よ， それはどこで 起こるのですか 」と 言った． イエス は 言われた． 「死體のある 所には， はげ 鷹も 集まるものだ． 」
