- And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
- And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
- And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
- For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
- And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,

- イエス は 目を 上げて， 金持ちたちが ·錢箱に 獻金を 入れるのを 見ておられた．
- そして， ある 貧しいやもめが レプトン 銅貨二枚を 入れるのを 見て，
- 言われた． 「確かに 言っておくが， この 貧しいやもめは， だれよりもたくさん 入れた．
- あの 金持ちたちは 皆， 有り 余る 中から 獻金したが， この 人は， 乏しい 中から 持っている 生活費を 全部入れたからである． 」
- ある 人たちが， 神殿が 見事な 石と 奉納物で 飾られていることを 話していると， イエス は 言われた．

- As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
- And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
- And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
- But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
- Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

- 「あなたがたはこれらの 物に 見とれているが， 一つの 石も 崩されずに 他の 石の 上に 殘ることのない 日が 來る． 」
- そこで， 彼らは イエス に 尋ねた． 「先生， では， そのことはいつ 起こるのですか． また， そのことが 起こるときには， どんな 徵があるのですか． 」
- イエス は 言われた． 「惑わされないように 氣をつけなさい． わたしの 名を 名乘る 者が 大勢現れ， 『わたしがそれだ 』とか， 『時が 近づいた 』とか 言うが， ついて 行ってはならない．
- 戰爭とか 暴動のことを 聞いても， おびえてはならない． こういうことがまず 起こるに 決まっているが， 世の 終わりはすぐには 來ないからである． 」
- そして 更に， 言われた． 「民は 民に， 國は 國に 敵對して 立ち 上がる．

- And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
- But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
- And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
- Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
- For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

- そして， 大きな 地震があり， 方¿に 飢鴨や 疫病が 起こり， 恐ろしい 現象や 著しい 徵が 天に 現れる．
- しかし， これらのことがすべて 起こる 前に， 人¿はあなたがたに 手を 下して 迫害し， 會堂や 牢に 引き 渡し， わたしの 名のために 王や 總督の 前に 引っ 張って 行く．
- それはあなたがたにとって 證しをする 機會となる．
- だから， 前もって 弁明の 準備をするまいと， 心に 決めなさい．
- どんな 反對者でも， 對抗も 反論もできないような 言葉と 知惠を， わたしがあなたがたに 授けるからである．

- And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
- And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
- But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
- In your patience possess ye your souls.
- And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

- あなたがたは 親， 兄弟， 親族， 友人にまで 裏切られる． 中には 殺される 者もいる．
- また， わたしの 名のために， あなたがたはすべての 人に 憎まれる．
- しかし， あなたがたの 髮の 毛の 一本も 決してなくならない．
- 忍耐によって， あなたがたは 命をかち 取りなさい． 」
- 「エルサレム が 軍隊に 圍まれるのを 見たら， その 滅亡が 近づいたことを 悟りなさい．

- Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
- For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
- But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
- And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
- And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

- そのとき， ユダヤ にいる 人¿は 山に 逃げなさい． 都の 中にいる 人¿は， そこから 立ち 退きなさい． 田舍にいる 人¿は 都に 入ってはならない．
- 書かれていることがことごとく 實現する 報復の 日だからである．
- それらの 日には， 身重の 女と 乳飮み 子を 持つ 女は 不幸だ． この 地には 大きな 苦しみがあり， この 民には 神の 怒りが 下るからである．
- 人¿は 劍の 刃に 倒れ， 捕虜となってあらゆる 國に 連れて 行かれる． 異邦人の 時代が 完了するまで， エルサレム は 異邦人に 踏み 荒らされる． 」
- 「それから， 太陽と 月と 星に 徵が 現れる． 地上では 海がどよめき 荒れ 狂うので， 諸國の 民は， なすすべを 知らず， 不安に 陷る．

- Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
- And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
- And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

- 人¿は， この 世界に 何が 起こるのかとおびえ， 恐ろしさのあまり 氣を 失うだろう． 天體が ¿り 動かされるからである．
- そのとき， 人の 子が 大いなる 力と 榮光を 帶びて 雲に 乘って 來るのを， 人¿は 見る．
- このようなことが 起こり 始めたら， 身を 起こして 頭を 上げなさい． あなたがたの 解放の 時が 近いからだ． 」
