	요한복음 1:29-1:51 예수님이 세례받으러 오셨을 때, 세례 요한은 예수께서 그리스도이심을 알아보고 이에 대해 증거했다. 예수님은 공생애 사역을 시작하기에 앞서 안드레, 요한, 시몬, 빌립, 나다나엘을 제자로 부르셨다.

	하나님의 어린양(1:29-1:51)

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.

And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.

And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

その翌日，ヨハネは，自分の方へイエスが來られるのを見て言った．「見よ，世の罪を取り除く神の小羊だ．

『わたしの後から一人の人が來られる．その方はわたしにまさる．わたしよりも先におられたからである』とわたしが言ったのは，この方のことである．

わたしはこの方を知らなかった．しかし，この方がイスラエルに現れるために，わたしは，水で洗禮を授けに來た．」

そしてヨハネは證しした．「わたしは， “靈＂が鳩のように天から降って，この方の上にとどまるのを見た．

わたしはこの方を知らなかった．しかし，水で洗禮を授けるためにわたしをお遣わしになった方が，『“靈＂が降って，ある人にとどまるのを見たら，その人が，聖靈によって洗禮を授ける人である』とわたしに言われた．

And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;

And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

わたしはそれを見た．だから，この方こそ神の子であると證ししたのである．」

その翌日，また，ヨハネは二人の弟子と一緖にいた．

そして，步いておられるイエスを見つめて，「見よ，神の小羊だ」と言った．

二人の弟子はそれを聞いて，イエスに從った．

イエスは振り返り，彼らが從って來るのを見て，「何を求めているのか」と言われた．彼らが，「ラビ ――『先生』という意味 ――どこに泊まっておられるのですか」と言うと，

He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.

One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.

He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.

イエスは，「來なさい．そうすれば分かる」と言われた．そこで，彼らはついて行って，どこにイエスが泊まっておられるかを見た．そしてその日は，イエスのもとに泊まった．午後四時ごろのことである．

ヨハネの言葉を聞いて，イエスに從った二人のうちの一人は，シモン · ペトロの兄弟アンデレであった．

彼は，まず自分の兄弟シモンに會って，「わたしたちはメシア ――『油を注がれた者』という意味 ――に出會った」と言った．

そして，シモンをイエスのところに連れて行った．イエスは彼を見つめて，「あなたはヨハネの子シモンであるが，ケファ ――『岩』という意味 ――と呼ぶことにする」と言われた．

その翌日，イエスは，ガリラヤへ行こうとしたときに，フィリポに出됣� チて，「わたしに從いなさい」と言われた．

Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

フィリポは，アンデレとペトロの町，ベトサイダの出身であった．

フィリポはナタナエルに出會って言った．「わたしたちは，モ ― セが律法に記し，預言者たちも書いている方に出會った．それはナザレの人で，ヨセフの子イエスだ．」

するとナタナエルが，「ナザレから何か良いものが出るだろうか」と言ったので，フィリポは，「來て，見なさい」と言った．

イエスは，ナタナエルが御自分の方へ來るのを見て，彼のことをこう言われた．「見なさい．まことのイスラエル人だ．この人には僞りがない．」

ナタナエルが，「どうしてわたしを知っておられるのですか」と言うと，イエスは答えて，「わたしは，あなたがフィリポから話しかけられる前に，いちじくの木の下にいるのを見た」と言われた．

Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.

And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

ナタナエルは答えた．「ラビ，あなたは神の子です．あなたはイスラエルの王です．」

イエスは答えて言われた．「いちじくの木の下にあなたがいるのを見たと言ったので，信じるのか．もっと偉大なことをあなたは見ることになる．」

更に言われた．「はっきり言っておく．天が開け，神の天使たちが人の子の上に昇り降りするのを，あなたがたは見ることになる．」
