- The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
- Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the LORD out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
- Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
- So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
- And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

- 週の 初めの 日， 朝早く， まだ 暗いうちに， マグダラ の マリア は 墓に 行った． そして， 墓から 石が 取りのけてあるのを 見た．
- そこで， シモン · ペトロ のところへ， また， イエス が 愛しておられたもう 一人の 弟子のところへ 走って 行って 彼らに 告げた． 「主が 墓から 取り 去られました． どこに 置かれているのか， わたしたちには 分かりません． 」
- そこで， ペトロ とそのもう 一人の 弟子は， 外に 出て 墓へ 行った．
- 二人は 一緖に 走ったが， もう 一人の 弟子の 方が， ペトロ より 速く 走って， 先に 墓に 着いた．
- 身をかがめて 中をのぞくと， 亞麻布が 置いてあった． しかし， 彼は 中には 入らなかった．

- Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,
- And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
- Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
- For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
- Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.

- 續いて， シモン · ペトロ も 着いた． 彼は 墓に 入り， 亞麻布が 置いてあるのを 見た．
- イエス の 頭を 包んでいた 覆いは， 亞麻布と 同じ 所には 置いてなく， 離れた 所に 丸めてあった．
- それから， 先に 墓に 着いたもう 一人の 弟子も 入って 來て， 見て， 信じた．
- イエス は 必ず 死者の 中から 復活されることになっているという 聖書の 言葉を， 二人はまだ 理解していなかったのである．
- それから， この 弟子たちは 家に 歸って 行った．

- But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
- And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
- And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my LORD, and I know not where they have laid him.
- And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
- Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

- マリア は 墓の 外に 立って 泣いていた． 泣きながら 身をかがめて 墓の 中を 見ると，
- イエス の 遺體の 置いてあった 所に， 白い 衣を 着た 二人の 天使が 見えた． 一人は 頭の 方に， もう 一人は 足の 方に 座っていた．
- 天使たちが， 「婦人よ， なぜ 泣いているのか 」と 言うと， マリア は 言った． 「わたしの 主が 取り 去られました． どこに 置かれているのか， わたしには 分かりません． 」
- こう 言いながら 後ろを 振り 向くと， イエス の 立っておられるのが 見えた． しかし， それが イエス だとは 分からなかった．
- イエス は 言われた． 「婦人よ， なぜ 泣いているのか． だれを 搜しているのか． 」 マリア は， 園丁だと 思って 言った． 「あなたがあの 方を 運び 去ったのでしたら， どこに 置いたのか 敎えてください． わたしが， あの 方を 引き 取ります． 」

- Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
- Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
- Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the LORD, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
- Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
- And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the LORD.

- イエス が， 「マリア 」と 言われると， 彼女は 振り 向いて， ヘブライ 語で， 「ラボニ 」と 言った． 「先生 」という 意味である．
- イエス は 言われた． 「わたしにすがりつくのはよしなさい． まだ 父のもとへ 上っていないのだから． わたしの 兄弟たちのところへ 行って， こう 言いなさい． 『わたしの 父であり， あなたがたの 父である 方， また， わたしの 神であり， あなたがたの 神である 方のところへわたしは 上る 』と． 」
- マグダラ の マリア は 弟子たちのところへ 行って， 「わたしは 主を 見ました 」と 告げ， また， 主から 言われたことを 傳えた．
- その 日， すなわち 週の 初めの 日の 夕方， 弟子たちは ユダヤ 人を 恐れて， 自分たちのいる 家の 戶に 鍵をかけていた． そこへ， イエス が 來て 眞ん 中に 立ち， 「あなたがたに 平和があるように 」と 言われた．
- そう 言って， 手とわき 腹とをお 見せになった． 弟子たちは， 主を 見て 喜んだ．

- Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
- And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
- Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

- イエス は 重ねて 言われた． 「あなたがたに 平和があるように． 父がわたしをお 遣わしになったように， わたしもあなたがたを 遣わす． 」
- そう 言ってから， 彼らに 息を 吹きかけて 言われた． 「聖靈を 受けなさい．
- だれの 罪でも， あなたがたが 赦せば， その 罪は 赦される． だれの 罪でも， あなたがたが 赦さなければ， 赦されないまま 殘る． 」
