역대상

  본서는 이스라엘 왕국의 영광스런 역사를 회고하고, 하나님과의 언약을 강조함으로써 귀환민들에게 하나님 백성으로서의 정체성과 희망을 주기 위하여 기록되었다. 예루살렘 멸망 후 70년 동안 바벨론 포로 생활을 한 이스라엘 백성들은 새로운 신앙 공동체로 묶어 줄 수 있는 영적 기반이 필요했던 것이다.

  1장부터 9장까지는 아담으로부터 아브라함, 다윗, 바벨론 포로 귀환민에 이르는 족보를 개략적으로 기록함으로써 하나님의 선택과 보호하심을 소개하였다. 10장부터 29장까지는 하나님의 언약에 기초한 다윗의 통치를 기록하고 있다.

 

 

역대상 1:1-2:17

 아담으로부터 시작하여 노아, 아브라함, 야곱과 그의 아들들, 그리고 유다에서 다윗에 이르는 족보가 기록되어 있다.
  
  아담에서 야곱까지의 족보(1:1-1:54)    
 
  1. Adam, Sheth, Enosh,
  2. Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered,
  3. Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,
  4. Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
  5. The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
  1. アダム ， セト ， エノシュ ，
  2. ケナン ， マハラルエル ， イエレド ，
  3. エノク ， メトシェラ ， レメク ，
  4. ノア ， セム ， ハム ， ヤフェト ．

  1. And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
  2. And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
  3. The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
  4. And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
  5. And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.
  1. ゴメル の 子らは， アシュケナズ ， ディファト ， トガルマ ．
  2. ヤワン の 子らは， エリシャ ， タルシシュ ， キティム ， ロダニム ．
  3. ハム の 子らは， クシュ ， エジプト ， プト ， カナン ．
  4. クシュ の 子らは， セバ ， ハビラ ， サブタ ， ラマ ， サブテカ ． ラマ の 子らは， シェバ ， デダン ．
  5. クシュ にはまた， ニムロド が 生まれた． ニムロド は 地上で 最初の 勇士となった．
  1. And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
  2. And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.
  3. And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
  4. The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
  5. And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
  1. エジプト には， リディア 人， アナミム 人， レハビム 人， ナフトヒム 人，
  2. 上 エジプト 人， カスルヒム 人， カフトル 人が 生まれた． この カフトル 人から ペリシテ 人が 出た．
  3. カナン には 長男 シドン と ヘト ，
  4. また， エブス 人， アモリ 人， ギルガシ 人，
  5. ヒビ 人， アルキ 人， シニ 人，
  1. And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
  2. The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
  3. And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
  4. And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.
  5. And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
  1. アルワド 人， ツェマリ 人， ハマト 人が 生まれた．
  2. セム の 子らは， エラム ， アシュル ， アルパクシャド ， ルド ， アラム ， ウツ ， フル ， ゲテル ， メシェク ．
  3. アルパクシャド には シェラ が 生まれ， シェラ には エベル が 生まれた．
  4. エベル には 二人の 息子が 生まれた． 一人の 名は， その 時代に 土地が 分けられた（パラグ ）ので ペレグ といい， その 兄弟は ヨクタン といった．
  5. ヨクタン には， アルモダド ， シェレフ ， ハツァルマベト ， イエラ ，
  1. Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,
  2. And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
  3. And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
  4. Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
  5. Eber, Peleg, Reu,
  1. ハドラム ， ウザル ， ディクラ ，
  2. エバル ， アビマエル ， シェバ ，
  3. オフィル ， ハビラ ， ヨバブ が 生まれた． これらは 皆， ヨクタン の 息子たちである．
  4. セム ， アルパクシャド ， シェラ ，
  5. エベル ， ペレグ ， レウ ，
  1. Serug, Nahor, Terah,
  2. Abram; the same is Abraham.
  3. The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.
  4. These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
  5. Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
  1. セルグ ， ナホル ， テラ ，
  2. アブラム ， これが アブラハム である．
  3. アブラハム の 子は， イサク ， イシュマエル ．
  4. 彼らの 系圖は 次のとおりである． イシュマエル の 長男は ネバヨト ， 次は ケダル ， アドベエル ， ミブサム ，

  1. Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
  2. Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.
  3. And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.
  4. And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.
  5. The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
  1. エトル ， ナフィシュ ， ケデマ であり， 以上が イシュマエル の 息子たちであった．
  2. アブラハム の 側女 ケトラ が 産んだ 子は， ジムラン ， ヨクシャン ， メダン ， ミディアン ， イシュバク ， シュア ． ヨクシャン の 子は， シェバ ， デダン ．
  3. ミディアン の 子は， エファ ， エフェル ， ハノク ， アビダ ， エルダア ． これらは 皆， ケトラ の 子孫である．
  4. アブラハム には イサク が 生まれた． イサク の 子は， エサウ ， イスラエル ．
  5. エサウ の 子は， エリファズ ， レウエル ， エウシュ ， ヤラム ， コラ ．
  1. The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
  2. The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
  3. And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.
  4. And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.
  5. The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. and the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.
  1. エリファズ の 子は， テマン ， オマル ， ツェフィ ， ガタム ， ケナズ ， ティムナ ， アマレク ．
  2. レウエル の 子は， ナハト ， ゼラ ， シャンマ ， ミザ ．
  3. セイル の 子は， ロタン ， ショバル ， ツィブオン ， アナ ， ディション ， エツェル ， ディシャン ．
  4. ロタン の 子は， ホリ ， ホマム であり， ロタン の 妹が ティムナ であった．
  5. ショバル の 子は， アルヤン ， マナハト ， エバル ， シェフィ ， オナム ． ツィブオン の 子は， アヤ ， アナ ．
  1. The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
  2. The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.
  3. Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
  4. And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
  5. And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
  1. アナ の 子は， ディション ． ディション の 子は， ハムラン ， エシュバン ， イトラン ， ケラン ．
  2. エツェル の 子は， ビルハン ， ザアワン ， ヤアカン ． ディション の 子は， ウツ ， アラン ．
  3. イスラエル の 人¿を 治める 王がまだいなかった 時代に， エドム の 地を 治めていた 王たちは 次のとおりである． ベオル の 息子 ベラ ， その 町の 名は ディンハバ といった．
  4. ベラ が 死んで， 代わって 王となったのは， ボツラ 出身で ゼラ の 息子 ヨバブ である．
  5. ヨバブ が 死んで， 代わって 王となったのは， テマン 人の 土地から 出た フシャム である．
  1. And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
  2. And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
  3. And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
  4. And when Shaul was dead, Baalhanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
  5. And when Baalhanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
  1. フシャム が 死んで， 代わって 王となったのは， ベダド の 息子 ハダド であり， モアブ の 野で ミディアン 人を 擊退した 人である． その 町の 名は アビト といった．
  2. ハダド が 死んで， 代わって 王となったのは， マスレカ 出身の サムラ である．
  3. サムラ が 死んで， 代わって 王となったのは ユ ― フラテス 川の レホボト 出身の シャウル である．
  4. シャウル が 死んで， 代わって 王となったのは， アクボル の 息子 バアル · ハナン である．
  5. バアル · ハナン が 死んで， 代わって 王となったのは， ハダド である． その 町の 名は パイ といい， その 妻の 名は メヘタブエル といった． 彼女は マトレド の 娘で， メ · ザハブ の 孫娘である．
  1. Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,
  2. Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
  3. Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
  4. Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
  1. ハダド が 死ぬと， エドム には 首長たちが 現れた． 首長 ティムナ ， 首長 アルワ ， 首長 エテト ，
  2. 首長 オホリバマ ， 首長 エラ ， 首長 ピノン ，
  3. 首長 ケナズ ， 首長 テマン ， 首長 ミブツァル ，
  4. 首長 マグディエル ， 首長 イラム ． 以上が エドム の 首長たちである．
 
  다윗의 족보(2:1-2:17)    
 
  1. These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
  2. Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
  3. The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD; and he slew him.
  4. And Tamar his daughter in law bore him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.
  5. The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.
  1. イスラエル の 子らは 次のとおりである． ルベン ， シメオン ， レビ ， ユダ ， イサカル ， ゼブルン ，
  2. ダン ， ヨセフ ， ベニヤミン ， ナフタリ ， ガド ， アシェル ．
  3. ユダ の 子 エル ， オナン ， シェラ の 三人は， カナン 人 バト · シュア を 母として 生まれた． ユダ の 長男 エル は， 主の 御旨に 背いたので， 主は 彼の 命を 絶たれた．
  4. ユダ の 嫁 タマル は ユダ の 子 ペレツ と ゼラ を 産んだ． ユダ の 子は 皆で 五人であった．
  5. ペレツ の 子は， ヘツロン ， ハムル ．
  1. And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
  2. And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.
  3. And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.
  4. The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
  5. And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
  1. ゼラ の 子は， ジムリ ， エタン ， ヘマン ， カルコル ， ダラ の 五人．
  2. カルミ の 子は， アカル ． この アカル （災いをもたらす 者 ）は， 滅ぼし 盡くしてささげるべきことに 對して 不誠實で， イスラエル に 災いをもたらした．
  3. エタン の 子は， アザルヤ ．
  4. ヘツロン に 生まれた 子は， エラフメエル ， ラム ， ケルバイ ．
  5. ラム には アミナダブ が 生まれ， アミナダブ には ナフション が 生まれ， 彼は ユダ 族の 首長となった．
  1. And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
  2. And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,
  3. And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,
  4. Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
  5. Ozem the sixth, David the seventh:
  1. ナフション には サルマ が 生まれ， サルマ には ボアズ が 生まれ，
  2. ボアズ には オベド が 生まれ， オベド には エッサイ が 生まれ，
  3. エッサイ には 長男 エリアブ ， 次男 アビナダブ ， 三男 シムア ，
  4. 四男 ネタンエル ， 五男 ラダイ ，
  5. 六男 オツェム ， 七男 ダビデ が 生まれた．
  1. Whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.
  2. And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.
  1. 彼らの 姉妹は， ツェルヤ ， アビガイル ． ツェルヤ の 子は， アブシャイ ， ヨアブ ， アサエル の 三人．
  2. アビガイル は アマサ を 産んだ． アマサ の 父は イシュマエル 人 イエテル であった．
