- And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
- He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.

- He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.

- 主は 御自分の 民を 大いに 增やし ／敵よりも 强くされた．
- 主が 彼らの 心を 變えられたので ／彼らは 主の 民を 憎み ／主の 僕たちを 惡だくみをもって 扱った．
- 主は 僕 モ ― セ を 遣わし ／ アロン を 選んで 遣わされた．
- 彼らは 人¿に 御言葉としるしを 傳え ／ ハム の 地で 奇跡を 行い
- 御言葉に 逆らわなかった． 主は 闇を 送って， 地を 暗くされた．

- He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
- Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
- He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
- He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
- He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.

- 主が 川の 水を 血に 變えられたので， 魚は 死んだ．
- その 地には 蛙が 群がり， 王宮の 奧に 及んだ．
- 主が 命じられると， あぶが 發生し ／ぶよが 國中に 滿ちた．
- 主は 雨に 代えて 音を 降らせ ／燃える 火を 彼らの 國に 下された．
- 主はぶどうといちじくを 打ち ／國中の 木を 折られた．

- He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
- And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
- He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
- He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

- 主が 命じられると， いなごが 發生し ／數えきれないいなごがはい 回り
- 國中の 草を 食い 盡くし ／大地の 實りを 食い 盡くした．
- 主はこの 國の 初子をすべて 擊ち ／彼らの 力の 最初の 實りをことごとく 擊たれた．
- 主は 金銀を 持たせて 民を 導き 出された． どの 部族にも， 落伍する 者はひとりもなかった．
