- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
- For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
- For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
- That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
- For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

- 從って， 今や， キリスト · イエス に 結ばれている 者は， 罪に 定められることはありません．
- キリスト · イエス によって 命をもたらす 靈の 法則が， 罪と 死との 法則からあなたを 解放したからです．
- 肉の 弱さのために 律法がなしえなかったことを， 神はしてくださったのです． つまり， 罪を 取り 除くために 御子を 罪深い 肉と 同じ 姿でこの 世に 送り， その 肉において 罪を 罪として 處斷されたのです．
- それは， 肉ではなく 靈に 從って 步むわたしたちの 內に， 律法の 要求が 滿たされるためでした．
- 肉に 從って 步む 者は， 肉に 屬することを 考え， 靈に 從って 步む 者は， 靈に 屬することを 考えます．

- For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
- Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
- And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

- 肉の 思いは 死であり， 靈の 思いは 命と 平和であります．
- なぜなら， 肉の 思いに 從う 者は， 神に 敵對しており， 神の 律法に 從っていないからです． 從いえないのです．
- 肉の 支配下にある 者は， 神に 喜ばれるはずがありません．
- 神の 靈があなたがたの 內に 宿っているかぎり， あなたがたは， 肉ではなく 靈の 支配下にいます． キリスト の 靈を 持たない 者は， キリスト に 屬していません．
- キリスト があなたがたの 內におられるならば， 體は 罪によって 死んでいても， “靈 ＂は 義によって 命となっています．

- But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
- Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
- For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
- For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

- もし， イエス を 死者の 中から 復活させた 方の 靈が， あなたがたの 內に 宿っているなら， キリスト を 死者の 中から 復活させた 方は， あなたがたの 內に 宿っているその 靈によって， あなたがたの 死ぬはずの 體をも 生かしてくださるでしょう．
- それで， 兄弟たち， わたしたちには 一つの 義務がありますが， それは， 肉に 從って 生きなければならないという， 肉に 對する 義務ではありません．
- 肉に 從って 生きるなら， あなたがたは 死にます． しかし， 靈によって 體の 仕業を 絶つならば， あなたがたは 生きます．
- 神の 靈によって 導かれる 者は 皆， 神の 子なのです．
- あなたがたは， 人を 奴隷として 再び 恐れに 陷れる 靈ではなく， 神の 子とする 靈を 受けたのです． この 靈によってわたしたちは， 「アッバ ， 父よ 」と 呼ぶのです．

- The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
- And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

- この 靈こそは， わたしたちが 神の 子供であることを， わたしたちの 靈と 一緖になって 證ししてくださいます．
- もし 子供であれば， 相續人でもあります． 神の 相續人， しかも キリスト と 共同の 相續人です． キリスト と 共に 苦しむなら， 共にその 榮光をも 受けるからです．
