- 悲しみの 原因となった 人がいれば， その 人はわたしを 悲しませたのではなく， 大げさな 表現は 控えますが， あなたがたすべてをある 程度悲しませたのです．
- その 人には， 多數の 者から 受けたあの 罰で 十分です．
- むしろ， あなたがたは， その 人が 悲しみに 打ちのめされてしまわないように， 赦して， 力づけるべきです．
- そこで， ぜひともその 人を 愛するようにしてください．
- わたしが 前に 手紙を 書いたのも， あなたがたが 万事について 從順であるかどうかを 試すためでした．

- For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
- To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
- For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

- 滅びる 者には 死から 死に 至らせる 香りであり， 救われる 者には 命から 命に 至らせる 香りです． このような 務めにだれがふさわしいでしょうか．
- わたしたちは， 多くの 人¿のように 神の 言葉を 賣り 物にせず， 誠實に， また 神に 屬する 者として， 神の 御前で キリスト に 結ばれて 語っています．
