- Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.
- For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.
- For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.
- For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:
- And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

- 主に 對する 畏れを 知っているわたしたちは， 人¿の 說得に 努めます． わたしたちは， 神にはありのままに 知られています． わたしは， あなたがたの 良心にもありのままに 知られたいと 思います．
- わたしたちは， あなたがたにもう 一度自己推薦をしようというのではありません． ただ， 內面ではなく， 外面を 誇っている 人¿に 應じられるように， わたしたちのことを 誇る 機會をあなたがたに 提供しているのです．
- わたしたちが 正氣でないとするなら， それは 神のためであったし， 正氣であるなら， それはあなたがたのためです．
- なぜなら， キリスト の 愛がわたしたちを 驅り 立てているからです． わたしたちはこう 考えます． すなわち， 一人の 方がすべての 人のために 死んでくださった 以上， すべての 人も 死んだことになります．
- その 一人の 方はすべての 人のために 死んでくださった． その 目的は， 生きている 人たちが， もはや 自分自身のために 生きるのではなく， 自分たちのために 死んで 復活してくださった 方のために 生きることなのです．

- Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
- Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
- And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
- To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
- Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

- それで， わたしたちは， 今後だれをも 肉に 從って 知ろうとはしません． 肉に 從って キリスト を 知っていたとしても， 今はもうそのように 知ろうとはしません．
- だから， キリスト と 結ばれる 人はだれでも， 新しく 創造された 者なのです． 古いものは 過ぎ 去り， 新しいものが 生じた．
- これらはすべて 神から 出ることであって， 神は， キリスト を 通してわたしたちを 御自分と 和解させ， また， 和解のために 奉仕する 任務をわたしたちにお 授けになりました．
- つまり， 神は キリスト によって 世を 御自分と 和解させ， 人¿の 罪の 責任を 問うことなく， 和解の 言葉をわたしたちにゆだねられたのです．
- ですから， 神がわたしたちを 通して 勸めておられるので， わたしたちは キリスト の 使者の 務めを 果たしています． キリスト に 代わってお 願いします． 神と 和解させていただきなさい．

- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

- 罪と 何のかかわりもない 方を， 神はわたしたちのために 罪となさいました． わたしたちはその 方によって 神の 義を 得ることができたのです．
