	시편 149:1-149:9 시인은 자기 백성을 기뻐하시며 겸손한 자를 구원으로 인도하시는 하나님을 찬양하고 있다.

Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

ハレルヤ．新しい歌を主に向かって歌え．主の慈しみに生きる人の集いで贊美の歌をうたえ．

イスラエルはその造り主によって喜び祝い／シオンの子らはその王によって喜び躍れ．

踊りをささげて御名を贊美し／太鼓や竪琴を奏でてほめ歌をうたえ．

主は御自分の民を喜び／貧しい人を救いの輝きで裝われる．

主の慈しみに生きる人は榮光に輝き，喜び勇み／伏していても喜びの聲をあげる．

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

口には神をあがめる歌があり／手には兩刃の劍を持つ．

國¿に報復し／諸國の民を懲らしめ

王たちを鎖につなぎ／君侯に鐵の枷をはめ

定められた裁きをする．これは，主の慈しみに生きる人の光榮．ハレルヤ．
