- If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
- Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
- Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
- Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
- Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

- そこで， あなたがたに 幾らかでも， キリスト による 勵まし， 愛の 慰め， “靈 ＂による 交わり， それに 慈しみや 憐れみの 心があるなら，
- 同じ 思いとなり， 同じ 愛を 抱き， 心を 合わせ， 思いを 一つにして， わたしの 喜びを 滿たしてください．
- 何事も 利己心や 虛榮心からするのではなく， へりくだって， 互いに 相手を 自分よりも 優れた 者と 考え，
- めいめい 自分のことだけでなく， 他人のことにも 注意を 拂いなさい．
- 互いにこのことを 心がけなさい． それは キリスト · イエス にもみられるものです．

- Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
- But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
- And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
- Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
- That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

- キリスト は， 神の 身分でありながら， 神と 等しい 者であることに 固執しようとは 思わず，
- かえって 自分を 無にして， 僕の 身分になり， 人間と 同じ 者になられました． 人間の 姿で 現れ，
- へりくだって， 死に 至るまで， それも 十字架の 死に 至るまで 從順でした．
- このため， 神は キリスト を 高く 上げ， あらゆる 名にまさる 名をお 與えになりました．
- こうして， 天上のもの， 地上のもの， 地下のものがすべて， イエス の 御名にひざまずき，

- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
- For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
- Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
- That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

- すべての 舌が， 「イエス · キリスト は 主である 」と 公に 宣べて， 父である 神をたたえるのです．
- だから， わたしの 愛する 人たち， いつも 從順であったように， わたしが 共にいるときだけでなく， いない 今はなおさら 從順でいて， 恐れおののきつつ 自分の 救いを 達成するように 努めなさい．
- あなたがたの 內に ¿いて， 御心のままに 望ませ， 行わせておられるのは 神であるからです．
- 何事も， 不平や 理屈を 言わずに 行いなさい．
- そうすれば， とがめられるところのない 淸い 者となり， よこしまな 曲がった 時代の 中で， 非のうちどころのない 神の 子として， 世にあって 星のように 輝き，

- Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
- Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.
- For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.

- 命の 言葉をしっかり 保つでしょう． こうしてわたしは， 自分が 走ったことが 無馱でなく， 勞苦したことも 無馱ではなかったと， キリスト の 日に 誇ることができるでしょう．
- 更に， 信仰に 基づいてあなたがたがいけにえを 獻げ， 禮拜を 行う 際に， たとえわたしの 血が 注がれるとしても， わたしは 喜びます． あなたがた 一同と 共に 喜びます．
- 同樣に， あなたがたも 喜びなさい． わたしと 一緖に 喜びなさい．
