예레미야 15:1-16:21

 하나님께서는 유다가 파멸될 것임을 선언하시고, 그 때까지 예레미야에게 사명을 감당할 수 있는 힘을 주시고 악인들의 손에서 건져 주실 것을 약속하셨다. 또한 예레미야의 생활을 통해 유다의 심판에 대해 상징적으로 보여 주셨으며, 유다 백성이 징계를 받아 장차 이방 땅에서 이방 신을 섬기게 되지만 때가 되면 다시 회복시킬 것도 아울러 약속하셨다.
  
  탄식과 위로(15:1-15:21)    
 
  1. Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.
  2. And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.
  3. And I will appoint over them four kinds, saith the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.
  4. And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.
  5. For who shall have pity upon thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go aside to ask how thou doest?
  1. 主はわたしに 言われた． 「たとえ モ ― セ と サムエル が 執り 成そうとしても， わたしはこの 民を 顧みない． わたしの 前から 彼らを 追い 出しなさい．
  2. 彼らがあなたに 向かって， 『どこへ 行けばよいのか 』と 問うならば， 彼らに 答えて 言いなさい． 『主はこう 言われる． 疫病に 定められた 者は， 疫病に ／劍に 定められた 者は， 劍に ／飢えに 定められた 者は， 飢えに ／捕囚に 定められた 者は， 捕囚に． 』
  3. わたしは 彼らを 四種のもので 罰する， と 主は 言われる． 劍が 殺し， 犬が 引きずって 行き， 空の 鳥と 地の ¿が 餌食として 滅ぼす．
  4. わたしは 地上のすべての 國が， 彼らを 見て 恐怖を 抱くようにする． それは ヒゼキヤ の 子 ユダ の 王 マナセ が エルサレム でしたことのためである． 」
  5. エルサレム よ， 誰がお 前を 憐れみ ／誰がお 前のために 嘆くであろうか． 誰が 安否を 問おうとして， 立ち 寄るであろうか．
  1. Thou hast forsaken me, saith the LORD, thou art gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against thee, and destroy thee; I am weary with repenting.
  2. And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people since they return not from their ways.
  3. Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.
  4. She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it was yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD.
  5. Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them doth curse me.
  1. お 前はわたしを 捨て， 背いて 行ったと ／主は 言われる． わたしは 手を 伸ばしてお 前を 滅ぼす． お 前を 憐れむことに 疲れた．
  2. わたしはこの 地の 町¿の 城門で ／彼らを 箕であおり， まき 散らし ／わが 民の 子らを 奪い， 滅ぼす． 彼らがその 道を 改めないからだ．
  3. やもめの 數は 海の 砂よりも 多くなった． わたしは 白¿， 荒らす 者に 若者の 母を 襲わせた． 彼女はたちまち 恐れとおののきに 捕らえられ
  4. 七人の 子の 母はくずおれてあえぐ． 太陽は 日盛りに 沈み ／彼女はうろたえ， 絶望する． わたしは 敵の 前で 民の 殘りの 者を 劍に 渡すと ／主は 言われる．
  5. ああ， わたしは 災いだ． わが 母よ， どうしてわたしを 産んだのか． 國中でわたしは 爭いの 絶えぬ 男 ／いさかいの 絶えぬ 男とされている． わたしはだれの 債權者になったことも ／だれの 債務者になったこともないのに ／だれもがわたしを 呪う．
  1. The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with thy remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to entreat thee well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
  2. Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel?
  3. Thy substance and thy treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all thy sins, even in all thy borders.
  4. And I will make thee to pass with thine enemies into a land which thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you.
  5. O LORD, thou knowest: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in thy longsuffering: know that for thy sake I have suffered rebuke.
  1. 主よ， わたしは 敵對する 者のためにも ／幸いを 願い ／彼らに 災いや 苦しみの 襲うとき ／あなたに 執り 成しをしたではありませんか．
  2. 鐵は ¿かれるだろうか ／北からの 鐵と 靑銅は．
  3. わたしはお 前の 富と 寶を ／お 前のあらゆる 罪の 報いとして ／至るところで， 敵の 奪うにまかせる．
  4. また， お 前を 敵の 奴隷とし ／お 前の 知らない 國に 行かせる． わたしの 怒りによって 火が 点じられ ／お 前たちに 對して 燃え 續ける．
  5. あなたはご 存じのはずです． 主よ， わたしを 思い 起こし， わたしを 顧み ／わたしを 迫害する 者に 復讐してください． いつまでも 怒りを 抑えて ／わたしが 取り 去られるようなことが ／ないようにしてください． わたしがあなたのゆえに ／辱めに 耐えているのを 知ってください．
  1. Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
  2. I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.
  3. Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail?
  4. Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.
  5. And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
  1. あなたの 御言葉が 見いだされたとき ／わたしはそれをむさぼり 食べました． あなたの 御言葉は， わたしのものとなり ／わたしの 心は 喜び 躍りました． 万軍の 神， 主よ． わたしはあなたの 御名をもって ／呼ばれている 者です．
  2. わたしは 笑い 戱れる 者と 共に 座って 樂しむことなく ／御手に 捕らえられ， 獨りで 座っていました． あなたはわたしを 憤りで 滿たされました．
  3. なぜ， わたしの 痛みはやむことなく ／わたしの 傷は 重くて， いえないのですか． あなたはわたしを 裏切り ／當てにならない 流れのようになられました．
  4. それに 對して， 主はこう 言われた． 「あなたが 歸ろうとするなら ／わたしのもとに 歸らせ ／わたしの 前に 立たせよう． もし， あなたが 輕率に 言葉を 吐かず ／熟慮して 語るなら ／わたしはあなたを， わたしの 口とする． あなたが 彼らの 所に 歸るのではない． 彼らこそあなたのもとに 歸るのだ．
  5. この 民に 對して ／わたしはあなたを 堅固な 靑銅の 城壁とする． 彼らはあなたに 戰いを 挑むが ／勝つことはできない． わたしがあなたと 共にいて 助け ／あなたを 救い 出す， と 主は 言われる．
  1. And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.
  1. わたしはあなたを 惡人の 手から 救い 出し ／强暴な 者の 手から 解き 放つ． 」
 
  재앙과 회복(16:1-16:21)    
 
  1. The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,
  2. Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place.
  3. For thus saith the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land;
  4. They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
  5. For thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the LORD, even lovingkindness and mercies.
  1. 主の 言葉がわたしに 臨んだ．
  2. 「あなたはこのところで 妻をめとってはならない． 息子や 娘を 得てはならない． 」
  3. このところで 生まれる 息子， 娘， この 地で 彼らを 産む 母， 彼らをもうけた 父について， 主はこう 言われる．
  4. 「彼らは 弱り 果てて 死ぬ． 嘆く 者も， 葬る 者もなく， 土の 肥やしとなる． 彼らは 劍と 飢鴨によって 滅びる． その 死體は 空の 鳥， 野の ¿の 餌食となる． 」
  5. 主はこう 言われる． 「あなたは 弔いの 家に 入るな． 嘆くために 行くな． 悲しみを 表すな． わたしはこの 民から， わたしの 與えた 平和も 慈しみも 憐れみも 取り 上げる 」と 主は 言われる．
  1. Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:
  2. Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.
  3. Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink.
  4. For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.
  5. And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?
  1. 「身分の 高い 者も 低い 者もこの 地で 死に， 彼らを 葬る 者はない． 彼らのために 嘆く 者も， 體を 傷つける 者も， 髮をそり 落とす 者もない．
  2. 死者を 悼む 人を 力づけるために， パン を 裂く 者もなく， 死者の 父や 母を 力づけるために， 杯を 與える 者もない．
  3. あなたは 酒宴の 家に 入るな． 彼らと 共に 座って， 飮み 食いしてはならない． 」
  4. 万軍の 主， イスラエル の 神はこう 言われる． 「見よ， わたしはこのところから， お 前たちの 目の 前から， お 前たちが 生きているかぎり， 喜びの 聲， 祝いの 聲， 花¿の 聲， 花嫁の 聲を 絶えさせる． 」
  5. あなたが， この 民にこれらの 言葉をすべて 告げるならば， 彼らはあなたに， 「なぜ 主はこの 大いなる 災いをもたらす， と 言って 我¿を 脅かされるのか． 我¿は， どのような 惡， どのような 罪を 我¿の 神， 主に 對して 犯したのか 」と 言うであろう．
  1. Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
  2. And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:
  3. Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.
  4. Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
  5. But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.
  1. あなたは， 彼らに 答えるがよい． 「お 前たちの 先祖がわたしを 捨てたからだ 」と 主は 言われる． 「彼らは 他の 神¿に 從って 步み， それに 仕え， ひれ 伏し， わたしを 捨て， わたしの 律法を 守らなかった．
  2. お 前たちは 先祖よりも， 更に 重い 惡を 行った． おのおのそのかたくなで 惡い 心に 從って 步み， わたしに 聞き 從わなかった．
  3. わたしは， お 前たちをこの 地から， お 前たちも 先祖も 知らなかった 地へ 追放する． お 前たちは， そのところで ¿も 夜も 他の 神¿に 仕えるがよい． もはやわたしは， お 前たちに 恩惠をほどこさない． 」
  4. 見よ， このような 日が 來る， と 主は 言われる． 人¿はもう， 「イスラエル の 人¿を エジプト から 導き 上られた 主は 生きておられる 」と 言わず，
  5. 「イスラエル の 子らを， 北の 國， 彼らが 追いやられた 國¿から 導き 上られた 主は 生きておられる 」と 言うようになる． わたしは 彼らを， わたしがその 先祖に 與えた 土地に 歸らせる．
  1. Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.
  2. For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.
  3. And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.
  4. O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
  5. Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?
  1. 見よ， わたしは 多くの 漁師を 遣わして， 彼らを 釣り 上げさせる， と 主は 言われる． その 後， わたしは 多くの 狩人を 遣わして， すべての 山， すべての 丘， 岩の 裂け 目から， 彼らを 狩り 出させる．
  2. わたしの 目は， 彼らのすべての 道に 注がれている． 彼らはわたしの 前から 身を 隱すこともできず， その 惡をわたしの 目から 隱すこともできない．
  3. まず， わたしは 彼らの 罪と 惡を 二倍にして 報いる． 彼らがわたしの 地を， 憎むべきものの 死體で 汚し， わたしの 嗣業を 忌むべきもので 滿たしたからだ．
  4. 主よ， わたしの 力， わたしの 砦 ／苦難が 襲うときの 逃れ 場よ． あなたのもとに ／國¿は 地の 果てから 來て 言うでしょう． 「我¿の 先祖が 自分のものとしたのは ／僞りで， 空しく， 無益なものであった．
  5. 人間が 神を 造れようか． そのようなものが 神であろうか 」と．
  1. Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD.
  1. それゆえ， わたしは 彼らに 知らせよう． 今度こそ， わたしは 知らせる ／わたしの 手， わたしの 力强い 業を． 彼らはわたしの 名が 主であることを 知る．
