- A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth.
- He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
- Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord.
- Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy.
- These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

- ならず 者， 惡を 行う 者， 曲がったことを 言い 步く 者
- 目くばせし， 足で 合圖し， 指さす 者
- 心に 暴言を 隱し， 惡を 耕し ／絶えずいさかいを 起こさせる 者
- このような 者には， 突然， 災いが 襲いかかり ／たちまち 痛手を 負うが， 彼を 癒す 者はない．
- 主の 憎まれるものが 六つある． 心からいとわれるものが 七つある．

- A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
- An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
- A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

- 梶り 高ぶる 目， うそをつく 舌 ／罪もない 人の 血を 流す 手
- 惡だくみを 耕す 心， 惡事へと 急いで 走る 足
- 欺いて 發言する 者， うそをつく 證人 ／兄弟の 間にいさかいを 起こさせる 者．
