잠언 11:1-11:9

 정직하고 겸손하며 남을 속이지 않는 의인은 구원을 얻게 되나, 교만하고 사특한 악인은 넘어지게 된다.
  
 
  1. A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
  2. When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.
  3. The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
  4. Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
  5. The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
  1. 僞りの 天秤を 主はいとい ／十全なおもり 石を 喜ばれる．
  2. 高慢には 輕蔑が 伴い ／謙遜には 知惠が 伴う．
  3. 正しい 人は 自分の 無垢に 導かれ ／裏切り 者は 自分の 暴力に 滅ぼされる．
  4. 怒りの 日には， 富は 賴りにならない． 慈善は 死から 救う．
  5. 無垢な 人の 慈善は， 彼の 道をまっすぐにする． 神に 逆らう 者は， 逆らいの 罪によって 倒される．
  1. The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.
  2. When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.
  3. The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.
  4. An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
  1. 正しい 人は 慈善によって 自分を 救い ／裏切り 者は 自分の 欲望の ┼にかかる．
  2. 神に 逆らう 者は 力に 望みをかけ， 期待しても ／死ねばそれも 失われる．
  3. 神に 從う 人は 苦難に 陷っても 助け 出され ／神に 逆らう 者が 代わってそこに 落とされる．
  4. 神を 無視する 者は 口先で 友人を 破滅に 落とす． 神に 從う 人は 知識によって 助け 出される．
