	에스겔 36:16-37:28 하나님께서는 이스라엘이 우상 숭배 죄로 인해 징계를 받아 여러 나라에 흩어져 비참한 생활을 하게 되었지만 하나님의 거룩한 이름을 위하여 그들을 회복시키시겠다고 약속하셨다. 하나님께서는 마른 뼈들이 부활되는 환상을 통해 이스라엘의 회복을 확증하셨고, 두 막대기를 하나로 연합시키는 상징적 행위를 통해 이스라엘과 유다가 연합될 것을 보여 주셨다. 다윗의 왕국이 영원할 것과 그들이 야웨의 백성이 될 것도 약속하셨다.

	이스라엘의 회복(36:16-36:38)

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.

Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:

And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.

主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ．

「人の子よ，イスラエルの家は自分の土地に住んでいたとき，それを自分の步みと行いによって汚した．その步みは，わたしの前で生理中の女の汚れのようであった．

それゆえ，わたしは憤りを彼らの上に注いだ．彼らが地の上に血を流し，偶像によってそれを汚したからである．

わたしは彼らを國¿の中に散らし，諸國に追いやり，その步みと行いに應じて裁いた．

彼らはその行く先の國¿に行って，わが聖なる名を汚した．事實，人¿は彼らについて，『これは主の民だ，彼らは自分の土地から追われて來たのだ』と言った．

But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

そこでわたしは，イスラエルの家がその行った先の國¿で汚したわが聖なる名を惜しんだ．

それゆえ，イスラエルの家に言いなさい．主なる神はこう言われる．イスラエルの家よ，わたしはお前たちのためではなく，お前たちが行った先の國¿で汚したわが聖なる名のために行う．

わたしは，お前たちが國¿で汚したため，彼らの間で汚されたわが大いなる名を聖なるものとする．わたしが彼らの目の前で，お前たちを通して聖なるものとされるとき，諸國民は，わたしが主であることを知るようになる，と主なる神は言われる．

わたしはお前たちを國¿の間から取り，すべての地から集め，お前たちの土地に導き入れる．

わたしが淸い水をお前たちの上に振りかけるとき，お前たちは淸められる．わたしはお前たちを，すべての汚れとすべての偶像から淸める．

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

わたしはお前たちに新しい心を與え，お前たちの中に新しい靈を置く．わたしはお前たちの體から石の心を取り除き，肉の心を與える．

また，わたしの靈をお前たちの中に置き，わたしの ¿に從って步ませ，わたしの裁きを守り行わせる．

お前たちは，わたしが先祖に與えた地に住むようになる．お前たちはわたしの民となりわたしはお前たちの神となる．

わたしはお前たちを，すべての汚れから救う．わたしは穀物に呼びかけ，それを增やし，お前たちに飢えを送ることはしない．

わたしが木の實と畑の作物を豊かにするので，二度と飢鴨のために，國¿の間で恥をこうむることはない．

Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.

And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.

And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.

そのとき，お前たちは自分の惡い步み，善くない行いを思い起こし，罪と忌まわしいことのゆえに，自分自身を嫌惡する．

わたしがこれを行うのは，お前たちのためではないことを知れ，と主なる神は言われる．イスラエルの家よ，恥じるがよい．自分の步みを恥ずかしく思え．

主なる神はこう言われる．わたしがお前たちをすべての罪から淸める日に，わたしは町¿に人を住まわせ，廢虛を建て直す．

荒れ果てた地，そこを通るすべての人に荒れ地と見えていた土地が耕されるようになる．

そのとき人¿は，『荒れ果てていたこの土地がエデンの園のようになった．荒れ果て破壞されて廢虛となった町¿が，城壁のある人の住む町になった』と言う．

Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

お前たちの周圍に殘された國¿も，主であるわたしがこの破壞された所を建て直し，荒れ果てていたところに植物を植えたことを知るようになる．主であるわたしが，これを語り，これを行う．

主なる神はこう言われる．わたしは，再びイスラエルの家の願いを受け入れ，彼らのために行う．わたしは彼らの人口を羊の群れのように增やす．

祭りの時に，エルサレムが聖別された羊で滿ち溢れるように，廢虛であった町¿は人の群れで滿たされる．そのとき，彼らはわたしが主なる神であることを知るようになる．」

	마른 뼈들의 부활(37:1-37:14)

The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

主の手がわたしの上に臨んだ．わたしは主の靈によって連れ出され，ある谷の眞ん中に降ろされた．そこは骨でいっぱいであった．

主はわたしに，その周圍を行き巡らせた．見ると，谷の上には非常に多くの骨があり，また見ると，それらは甚だしく枯れていた．

そのとき，主はわたしに言われた．「人の子よ，これらの骨は生き返ることができるか．」わたしは答えた．「主なる神よ，あなたのみがご存じです．」

そこで，主はわたしに言われた．「これらの骨に向かって預言し，彼らに言いなさい．枯れた骨よ，主の言葉を聞け．

これらの骨に向かって，主なる神はこう言われる．見よ，わたしはお前たちの中に靈を吹き ¿む．すると，お前たちは生き返る．

And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

わたしは，お前たちの上に筋をおき，肉を付け，皮膚で覆い，靈を吹き ¿む．すると，お前たちは生き返る．そして，お前たちはわたしが主であることを知るようになる．」

わたしは命じられたように預言した．わたしが預言していると，音がした．見よ，カタカタと音を立てて，骨と骨とが近づいた．

わたしが見ていると，見よ，それらの骨の上に筋と肉が生じ，皮膚がその上をすっかり覆った．しかし，その中に靈はなかった．

主はわたしに言われた．「靈に預言せよ．人の子よ，預言して靈に言いなさい．主なる神はこう言われる．靈よ，四方から吹き來れ．靈よ，これらの殺されたものの上に吹きつけよ．そうすれば彼らは生き返る．」

わたしは命じられたように預言した．すると，靈が彼らの中に入り，彼らは生き返って自分の足で立った．彼らは非常に大きな集團となった．

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

主はわたしに言われた．「人の子よ，これらの骨はイスラエルの全家である．彼らは言っている．『我¿の骨は枯れた．我¿の望みはうせ，我¿は滅びる』と．

それゆえ，預言して彼らに語りなさい．主なる神はこう言われる．わたしはお前たちの墓を開く．わが民よ，わたしはお前たちを墓から引き上げ，イスラエルの地へ連れて行く．

わたしが墓を開いて，お前たちを墓から引き上げるとき，わが民よ，お前たちはわたしが主であることを知るようになる．

また，わたしがお前たちの中に靈を吹き ¿むと，お前たちは生きる．わたしはお前たちを自分の土地に住まわせる．そのとき，お前たちは主であるわたしがこれを語り，行ったことを知るようになる」と主は言われる．

	이스라엘의 통치(37:15-37:28)

The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:

And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?

Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ．

「人の子よ，あなたは一本の木を取り，その上に『ユダおよびそれと結ばれたイスラエルの子らのために』と書き記しなさい．また，別の木をとり，その上には『エフライムの木であるヨセフおよびそれと結ばれたイスラエルの全家のために』と書き記しなさい．

それらを互いに近づけて一本の木としなさい．それらはあなたの手の中で一つとなる．

あなたの民の子らがあなたに向かって，『これらはあなたにとって何を意味するのか告げてくれないか』と言うとき，

彼らに語りなさい．主なる神はこう言われる．わたしはエフライムの手の中にあるヨセフの木，およびそれと結ばれたイスラエルの諸部族を取り，それをユダの木につないで一本の木とする．それらはわたしの手の中で一つとなる．

And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

あなたがその上に書き記した木は，彼らの目の前であなたの手にある．

そこで，彼らに語りなさい．主なる神はこう言われる．わたしはイスラエルの子らを，彼らが行っていた國¿の中から取り，周圍から集め，彼らの土地に連れて行く．

わたしはわたしの地，イスラエルの山¿で彼らを一つの國とする．一人の王が彼らす／べての王となる．彼らは二度と二つの國となることなく，二度と二つの王國に別れることはない．

彼らは二度と彼らの偶像や憎むべきもの，もろもろの背きによって汚されることはない．わたしは，彼らが過ちを犯したすべての背信から彼らを救い淸める．そして，彼らはわたしの民となり，わたしは彼らの神となる．

わたしの僕ダビデは彼らの王となり，一人の牧者が彼らすべての牧者となる．彼らはわたしの裁きに從って步み，わたしの ¿を守り行う．

And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

彼らはわたしがわが僕ヤコブに與えた土地に住む．そこはお前たちの先祖が住んだ土地である．彼らも，その子らも，孫たちも，皆，永遠に至るまでそこに住む．そして，わが僕ダビデが永遠に彼らの支配者となる．

わたしは彼らと平和の契約を結ぶ．それは彼らとの永遠の契約となる．わたしは彼らの住居を定め，彼らを增し加える．わたしはまた，永遠に彼らの眞ん中にわたしの聖所を置く．

わたしの住まいは彼らと共にあり，わたしは彼らの神となり，彼らはわたしの民となる．

わたしの聖所が永遠に彼らの眞ん中に置かれるとき，諸國民は，わたしがイスラエルを聖別する主であることを知るようになる．」
