- I saw the LORD standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.
- Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down:
- And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
- And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.
- And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

- わたしは 祭壇の 傍らに 立っておられる 主を 見た． 主は 言われた． 「柱頭を 打ち， 敷石を ¿り 動かせ． すべての 者の 頭上で ¿け． 生き 殘った 者は， わたしが 劍で 殺す． 彼らのうちに 逃れうる 者はない． 逃れて， 生き 延びる 者はひとりもない．
- たとえ， 彼らが 陰府に 潛り ¿んでも ／わたしは， そこからこの 手で 引き 出す． たとえ 天に 上っても ／わたしは， そこから 引き 下ろす．
- たとえ， カルメル の 頂に 身を 隱しても ／わたしは， そこから 探し 出して 連れ 出す． たとえ， わたしの 目を 逃れて， 海の 底に 隱れても ／そこで， 蛇に 命じてかませる．
- たとえ 捕らわれ， 敵の 前に 連れて 行かれても ／そこで， 劍に 命じて 殺させる． わたしは 彼らの 上に 目を 注ぐ． それは 災いのためであって ／幸いのためではない． 」
- 万軍の 神なる 主． 主が 大地に 觸れられると， 地は ¿れ 動き ／そこに 住む 者は 皆， 嘆き 悲しむ． 大地はことごとく ナイル 川のように 盛り 上がり ／ エジプト の 大河のように 沈む．

- It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.
- Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
- Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.
- For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
- All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.

- 天に 高殿を 設け ／地の 上に 大空を 据え ／海の 水を 呼び 集め ／地の 面に 注がれる 方． その 御名は 主．
- イスラエル の 人¿よ． わたしにとってお 前たちは ／ クシュ の 人¿と 變わりがないではないかと ／主は 言われる． わたしは イスラエル を エジプト の 地から ／ ペリシテ 人を カフトル から ／ アラム 人を キル から， 導き 上ったではないか．
- 見よ， 主なる 神は 罪に 染まった 王國に 目を 向け ／これを 地の 面から 絶たれる． ただし， わたしは ヤコブ の 家を 全滅させはしないと ／主は 言われる．
- 見よ， わたしは 命令を 下し ／ イスラエル の 家を 諸國民の 間でふるいにかける． ふるいにかけても ／小石ひとつ 地に 落ちないように．
- わが 民の 中で 罪ある 者は 皆， 劍で 死ぬ． 彼らは， 災いは 我¿に 及ばず ／近づくこともない， と 言っている．

- In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
- That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.
- Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.
- And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
- And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.

- その 日には ／わたしは ダビデ の 倒れた 假庵を 復興し ／その 破れを 修復し， 廢虛を 復興して ／昔の 日のように 建て 直す．
- こうして， エドム の 生き 殘りの 者と ／わが 名をもって 呼ばれるすべての 國を ／彼らに 所有させよう， と 主は 言われる． 主はこのことを 行われる．
- 見よ， その 日が 來れば， と 主は 言われる． 耕す 者は， 刈り 入れる 者に 續き ／ぶどうを 踏む 者は， 種蒔く 者に 續く． 山¿はぶどうの 汁を 滴らせ ／すべての 丘は 溶けて 流れる．
- わたしは， わが 民 イスラエル の 繁榮を 回復する． 彼らは 荒された 町を 建て 直して 住み ／ぶどう 畑を 作って， ぶどう 酒を 飮み ／園を 造って， 實りを 食べる．
- わたしは 彼らをその 土地に 植え 付ける． わたしが 與えた 地から ／再び 彼らが 引き 拔かれることは 決してないと ／あなたの 神なる 主は 言われる．
