하박국

  하박국이 활동하던 시기는 유다 왕국이 위기에 처해 있을 때였다. 당시 유다는 국외적으로는 강대국 바벨론 침략 위협을 받고 있었으며, 국내적으로는 종교적, 도적적 타락으로 절망적인 상태에 있었다. 이러한 때에 하박국은 유다에 남은 경건한 사람들을 위로하고 ‘의인은 오직 믿음으로 산다.’고 외쳤다. 이는 기독교 구원론의 근간을 마련한 것이기도 하다.

  본서는 하나님과 하박국 선지자가 나눈 개인적인 대화와 예언적 계시에 초첨을 맞추고 있다. 본서에는 하나님의 주권의 확실성이 표현되어 있으며, 의인을 향한 하나님의 사랑과 악한 바벨론을 멸하시려는 하나님의 의도가 잘 나타나 있다.

 

 

하박국 1:1-3:19

 죄악이 관영한 남유다를 공의의 하나님께서 왜 징계치 않으시는가를 질문한 하박국에게 갈대아를 심판의 도구로 삼아 그들을 심판하시겠다는 하나님의 응답이 주어졌다. 이어 하박국이 왜 유다보다 더 패역한 이방을 사용하여 유다를 심판하시는지를 다시 묻자, 하나님께서는 유다의 심판 도구인 바벨론도 결국에는 심판과 멸망을 당하리라고 말씀하셨다. 이에 하박국은 하나님의 구원을 찬양했다.
  
  공의의 하나님(1:1-3:19)    
 
  1. The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see.
  2. O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!
  3. Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention.
  4. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.
  5. Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you.
  1. 預言者 ハバクク が， 幻で 示された 託宣．
  2. 主よ， わたしが 助けを 求めて 叫んでいるのに ／いつまで， あなたは 聞いてくださらないのか． わたしが， あなたに「不法 」と 訴えているのに ／あなたは 助けてくださらない．
  3. どうして， あなたはわたしに 災いを 見させ ／勞苦に 目を 留めさせられるのか． 暴虐と 不法がわたしの 前にあり ／爭いが 起こり， いさかいが 持ち 上がっている．
  4. 律法は 無力となり ／正義はいつまでも 示されない． 神に 逆らう 者が 正しい 人を 取り 圍む． たとえ， 正義が 示されても 曲げられてしまう．
  5. 諸國を 見渡し， 目を 留め ／大いに 驚くがよい． お 前たちの 時代に 一つのことが 行われる． それを 告げられても， お 前たちは 信じまい．
  1. For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not their's.
  2. They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.
  3. Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.
  4. They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.
  5. And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
  1. 見よ， わたしは カルデア 人を 起こす． それは 冷酷で 剽悍な 國民． 地上の 廣い 領域に 軍を 進め ／自分のものでない 領土を 占領する．
  2. 彼らは 恐ろしく， すさまじい． 彼らから， 裁きと 支配が 出る．
  3. 彼らの 馬は 豹よりも 速く ／夕暮れの 狼よりも 素早く ／その 騎兵は 跳びはねる． 騎兵は 遠くから 來て ／獲物に 襲いかかる 鷲のように 飛ぶ．

  1. Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.
  2. Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
  3. Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?
  4. And makest men as the fishes of the sea, as the creeping things, that have no ruler over them?
  5. They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad.
  1. 彼らは 風のように 來て， 過ぎ 去る． しかし， 彼らは 罪に 定められる． 自分の 力を 神としたからだ．

  4. あなたは 人間を 海の 魚のように ／治める 者もない， 這うもののようにされました．
  5. 彼らはすべての 人を 一にかけて 釣り 上げ ／網に 入れて 引き 寄せ， 投網を 打って 集める． こうして， 彼らは 喜び 躍っています．
  1. Therefore they sacrifice unto their net, and burn incense unto their drag; because by them their portion is fat, and their meat plenteous.
  2. Shall they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?
  1. それゆえ， 彼らはその 網にいけにえをささげ ／投網に 向かって 香をたいています． これを 使って， 彼らは 豊かな 分け 前を 得 ／食物に 潤うからです．

  1. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
  2. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
  3. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
  4. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
  5. Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:
  1. わたしは 步哨の 部署につき ／砦の 上に 立って 見張り ／神がわたしに 何を 語り ／わたしの 訴えに 何と 答えられるかを 見よう．
  2. 主はわたしに 答えて， 言われた． 「幻を 書き 記せ． 走りながらでも 讀めるように ／板の 上にはっきりと 記せ．
  3. 定められた 時のために ／もうひとつの 幻があるからだ． それは 終わりの 時に 向かって 急ぐ． 人を 欺くことはない． たとえ， 遲くなっても， 待っておれ． それは 必ず 來る， 遲れることはない．
  4. 見よ， 高慢な 者を． 彼の 心は 正しくありえない． しかし， 神に 從う 人は 信仰によって 生きる． 」
  5. 確かに 富は 人を 欺く． 高ぶる 者は 目指すところに 達しない． 彼は 陰府のように 喉を 廣げ ／死のように 飽くことがない． 彼はすべての 國を 自分のもとに 集め ／すべての 民を 自分のもとに 引き 寄せる．
  1. Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!
  2. Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?
  3. Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
  4. Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!
  5. Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul.
  1. この 人¿は 皆 ／彼に 對して 嘲りのことわざを 歌い ／謎の 風刺を 浴びせる． 災いだ， 自分のものでないものを ／增し 加える 者は． いつまで 續けるのか ／重い 負債を 自分の 上に 積む 者よ．
  2. 突然， お 前の 債權者が 立ち 上がり ／恐れさせる 者が 目覺め ／お 前は 彼らの 獲物にされないだろうか．
  3. まことに， お 前は 多くの 國¿を 略奪したので ／諸國の 民の 殘りの 者すべてがお 前を 略奪する． お 前が 人¿の 血を 流し， 國中で 不法を ／町とそのすべての 住民に 對して 行ったからだ．
  4. 災いだ， 自分の 家に 災いを 招くまで ／不當な 利益をむさぼり ／災いの 手から 逃れるために ／高い 所に 巢を 構える 者よ．
  5. お 前は， 自分の 家に 對して 恥ずべきことを 謀り ／多くの 民の 滅びを 招き， 自分をも 傷つけた．
  1. For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it.
  2. Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity!
  3. Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?
  4. For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
  5. Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
  1. まことに 石は 石垣から 叫び ／梁は 建物からそれに 答えている．
  2. 災いだ， 流血によって 都を 築き ／不正によって 町を 建てる 者よ．
  3. 見よ， これは 万軍の 主から 出たことではないか． 諸國の 民は 力を 費やしても 火で 燒かれるのみ． 諸民族はむなしい 業のために 疲れ 果てる．
  4. 水が 海を 覆うように ／大地は 主の 榮光の 知識で 滿たされる．
  5. 災いだ ／自分の 隣人に 怒りの 熱を 加えた 酒を 飮ませ ／醉わせて， その 裸を 見ようとする 者は．
  1. Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD's right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.
  2. For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
  3. What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?
  4. Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it.
  5. But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
  1. お 前は 榮光よりも 恥を 飽きるほど 受ける． 醉え， お 前も 隱し 所を 見られる． お 前のもとに， 主の 右の 手の 杯と 恥辱が ／お 前の 榮光の 代わりに 回ってくる．
  2. レバノン に 加えられた 不法がお 前を 覆い ／¿も 絶えて， お 前を 恐れさせる． お 前が 人¿の 血を 流し， 國中で 不法を ／町とそのすべての 住民に 對して 行ったからだ．
  3. 彫刻師の 刻んだ 彫像や 鑄像 ／また， 僞りを 敎える 者が 何の 役に 立つのか． 口の 利けない 偶像を 造り ／造った 者がそれに 依り 賴んでも ／何の 役に 立つのか．
  4. 災いだ， 木に 向かって「目を 覺ませ 」と 言い ／物言わぬ 石に 向かって「起きよ 」と 言う 者は． それが 託宣を 下しうるのか． 見よ， これは 金と 銀をかぶせたもので ／その 中に 命の 息は 全くない．
  5. しかし， 主はその 聖なる 神殿におられる． 全地よ， 御前に 沈默せよ．

  2. O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

  1. He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.
  2. I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
  3. Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?
  4. Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
  5. The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.
  1. 主は 立って， 大地を 測り ／見渡して， 國¿を 驅り 立てられる． とこしえの 山¿は ¿かれ ／永遠の 丘は 沈む． しかし， 主の 道は 永遠に 變わらない．
  2. わたしは 見た ／ クシャン の 幕屋が 災いに 見舞われ ／ ミディアン の 地の 天幕が ¿れ 動くのを．

  1. The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.
  2. Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.
  3. Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.
  4. Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.
  5. Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.
  1. あなたの 矢の 光が 飛び ／槍のきらめく 輝きが 走るとき ／日と 月はその 高殿にとどまる．
  2. あなたは， 憤りをもって 大地を 步み ／怒りをもって 國¿を 踏みつけられる．

  3. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
  4. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
  1. それを 聞いて， わたしの 內臟は 震え ／その 響きに， 唇はわなないた． 腐敗はわたしの 骨に 及び ／わたしの 立っているところは ¿れ 動いた． わたしは 靜かに 待つ ／我¿に 攻めかかる 民に ／苦しみの 日が 臨むのを．
  2. いちじくの 木に 花は ¿かず ／ぶどうの 枝は 實をつけず ／ オリ ― ブ は 收穫の 期待を 裏切り ／田畑は 食物を 生ぜず ／羊はおりから 斷たれ ／牛舍には 牛がいなくなる．
  3. しかし， わたしは 主によって 喜び ／わが 救いの 神のゆえに 踊る．
  4. わたしの 主なる 神は， わが 力． わたしの 足を 雌鹿のようにし ／聖なる 高台を 步ませられる． 指揮者によって， 伴奏付き．
