욥기 23:1-26:14

 욥은 엘리바스의 답변에 탄식하면서, 하나님께서 결백한 자신의 호소에 답변해 주실 것을 간구하였다. 그리고 악인들의 최후에 관하여 말한 후, 그들을 놓아 두시는 하나님의 섭리에 의문을 표시하였다. 이에 대하여 빌닷은 하나님의 권능과 위엄을 말하면서 하나님 앞에서 의롭고 깨끗한 사람은 없다고 하였다.
  
  욥의 대답(23:1-24:25)    
 
  1. Then Job answered and said,
  2. Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
  3. Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
  4. I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
  5. I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.
  1. 욥이 대답하여 이르되
  2. 오늘도 내게 반항하는 마음과 근심이 있나니 내가 받는 재앙이 탄식보다 무거움이라
  3. 내가 어찌하면 하나님을 발견하고 그의 처소에 나아가랴
  4. 어찌하면 그 앞에서 내가 호소하며 변론할 말을 내 입에 채우고
  5. 내게 대답하시는 말씀을 내가 알며 내게 이르시는 것을 내가 깨달으랴
  1. Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.
  2. There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.
  3. Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:
  4. On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:
  5. But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
  1. 그가 큰 권능을 가지시고 나와 더불어 다투시겠느냐 아니로다 도리어 내 말을 들으시리라
  2. 거기서는 정직한 자가 그와 변론할 수 있은즉 내가 심판자에게서 영원히 벗어나리라
  3. 그런데 내가 앞으로 가도 그가 아니 계시고 뒤로 가도 보이지 아니하며
  4. 그가 왼쪽에서 일하시나 내가 만날 수 없고 그가 오른쪽으로 돌이키시나 뵈올 수 없구나
  5. 그러나 내가 가는 길을 그가 아시나니 그가 나를 단련하신 후에는 내가 순금 같이 되어 나오리라
  1. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
  2. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
  3. But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desireth, even that he doeth.
  4. For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.
  5. Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.
  1. 내 발이 그의 걸음을 바로 따랐으며 내가 그의 길을 지켜 치우치지 아니하였고
  2. 내가 그의 입술의 명령을 어기지 아니하고 정한 음식보다 그의 입의 말씀을 귀히 여겼도다
  3. 그는 뜻이 일정하시니 누가 능히 돌이키랴 그의 마음에 하고자 하시는 것이면 그것을 행하시나니
  4. 그런즉 내게 작정하신 것을 이루실 것이라 이런 일이 그에게 많이 있느니라
  5. 그러므로 내가 그 앞에서 떨며 지각을 얻어 그를 두려워하리라
  1. For God maketh my heart soft, and the Almighty troubleth me:
  2. Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he covered the darkness from my face.
  1. 하나님이 나의 마음을 약하게 하시며 전능자가 나를 두렵게 하셨나니
  2. 이는 내가 두려워하는 것이 어둠 때문이나 흑암이 내 얼굴을 가렸기 때문이 아니로다
 
 
  1. Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?
  2. Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.
  3. They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.
  4. They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.
  5. Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children.
  1. 어찌하여 전능자는 때를 정해 놓지 아니하셨는고 그를 아는 자들이 그의 날을 보지 못하는고
  2. 어떤 사람은 땅의 경계표를 옮기며 양 떼를 빼앗아 기르며
  3. 고아의 나귀를 몰아 가며 과부의 소를 볼모 잡으며
  4. 가난한 자를 길에서 몰아내나니 세상에서 학대 받는 자가 다 스스로 숨는구나
  5. 그들은 거친 광야의 들나귀 같아서 나가서 일하며 먹을 것을 부지런히 구하니 빈 들이 그들의 자식을 위하여 그에게 음식을 내는구나
  1. They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.
  2. They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.
  3. They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
  4. They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor.
  5. They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;
  1. 밭에서 남의 꼴을 베며 악인이 남겨 둔 포도를 따며
  2. 의복이 없어 벗은 몸으로 밤을 지내며 추워도 덮을 것이 없으며
  3. 산중에서 만난 소나기에 젖으며 가릴 것이 없어 바위를 안고 있느니라
  4. 어떤 사람은 고아를 어머니의 품에서 빼앗으며 가난한 자의 옷을 볼모 잡으므로
  5. 그들이 옷이 없어 벌거벗고 다니며 곡식 이삭을 나르나 굶주리고
  1. Which make oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.
  2. Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded crieth out: yet God layeth not folly to them.
  3. They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
  4. The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
  5. The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
  1. 그 사람들의 담 사이에서 기름을 짜며 목말라 하면서 술 틀을 밟느니라
  2. 성 중에서 죽어가는 사람들이 신음하며 상한 자가 부르짖으나 하나님이 그들의 참상을 보지 아니하시느니라
  3. 또 광명을 배반하는 사람들은 이러하니 그들은 그 도리를 알지 못하며 그 길에 머물지 아니하는 자라
  4. 사람을 죽이는 자는 밝을 때에 일어나서 학대 받는 자나 가난한 자를 죽이고 밤에는 도둑 같이 되며
  5. 간음하는 자의 눈은 저물기를 바라며 아무 눈도 나를 보지 못하리라 하고 얼굴을 가리며
  1. In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.
  2. For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
  3. He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholdeth not the way of the vineyards.
  4. Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned.
  5. The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.
  1. 어둠을 틈타 집을 뚫는 자는 낮에는 잠그고 있으므로 광명을 알지 못하나니
  2. 그들은 아침을 죽음의 그늘 같이 여기니 죽음의 그늘의 두려움을 앎이니라
  3. 그들은 물 위에 빨리 흘러가고 그들의 소유는 세상에서 저주를 받나니 그들이 다시는 포도원 길로 다니지 못할 것이라
  4. 가뭄과 더위가 눈 녹은 물을 곧 빼앗나니 스올이 범죄자에게도 그와 같이 하느니라
  5. 모태가 그를 잊어버리고 구더기가 그를 달게 먹을 것이라 그는 다시 기억되지 않을 것이니 불의가 나무처럼 꺾이리라
  1. He evil entreateth the barren that beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow.
  2. He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.
  3. Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes are upon their ways.
  4. They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.
  5. And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
  1. 그는 임신하지 못하는 여자를 박대하며 과부를 선대하지 아니하는도다
  2. 그러나 하나님이 그의 능력으로 강포한 자들을 끌어내시나니 일어나는 자는 있어도 살아남을 확신은 없으리라
  3. 하나님은 그에게 평안을 주시며 지탱해 주시나 그들의 길을 살피시도다
  4. 그들은 잠깐 동안 높아졌다가 천대를 받을 것이며 잘려 모아진 곡식 이삭처럼 되리라
  5. 가령 그렇지 않을지라도 능히 내 말을 거짓되다고 지적하거나 내 말을 헛되게 만들 자 누구랴
 
  빌닷의 세번째 충고(25:1-26:14)    
 
  1. Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,
  2. Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.
  3. Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?
  4. How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?
  5. Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.
  1. 수아 사람 빌닷이 대답하여 이르되
  2. 하나님은 주권과 위엄을 가지셨고 높은 곳에서 화평을 베푸시느니라
  3. 그의 군대를 어찌 계수할 수 있으랴 그가 비추는 광명을 받지 않은 자가 누구냐
  4. 그런즉 하나님 앞에서 사람이 어찌 의롭다 하며 여자에게서 난 자가 어찌 깨끗하다 하랴
  5. 보라 그의 눈에는 달이라도 빛을 발하지 못하고 별도 빛나지 못하거든
  1. How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
  1. 하물며 구더기 같은 사람, 벌레 같은 인생이랴
 
 
  1. But Job answered and said,
  2. How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
  3. How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?
  4. To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
  5. Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.
  1. 욥이 대답하여 이르되
  2. 네가 힘 없는 자를 참 잘도 도와 주는구나 기력 없는 팔을 참 잘도 구원하여 주는구나
  3. 지혜 없는 자를 참 잘도 가르치는구나 큰 지식을 참 잘도 자랑하는구나
  4. 네가 누구를 향하여 말하느냐 누구의 정신이 네게서 나왔느냐
  5. 죽은 자의 영들이 물 밑에서 떨며 물에서 사는 것들도 그러하도다
  1. Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
  2. He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.
  3. He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
  4. He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.
  5. He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.
  1. 하나님 앞에서는 스올도 벗은 몸으로 드러나며 멸망도 가림이 없음이라
  2. 그는 북쪽을 허공에 펴시며 땅을 아무것도 없는 곳에 매다시며
  3. 물을 빽빽한 구름에 싸시나 그 밑의 구름이 찢어지지 아니하느니라
  4. 그는 보름달을 가리시고 자기의 구름을 그 위에 펴시며
  5. 수면에 경계를 그으시니 빛과 어둠이 함께 끝나는 곳이니라
  1. The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.
  2. He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.
  3. By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.
  4. Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
  1. 그가 꾸짖으신즉 하늘 기둥이 흔들리며 놀라느니라
  2. 그는 능력으로 바다를 잔잔하게 하시며 지혜로 라합을 깨뜨리시며
  3. 그의 입김으로 하늘을 맑게 하시고 손으로 날렵한 뱀을 무찌르시나니
  4. 보라 이런 것들은 그의 행사의 단편일 뿐이요 우리가 그에게서 들은 것도 속삭이는 소리일 뿐이니 그의 큰 능력의 우렛소리를 누가 능히 헤아리랴
