호세아 9:1-11:12

 호세아는 하나님의 사랑을 배반하고 도덕적, 종교적 타락에 빠진 이스라엘의 죄를 지적하고 이로 인한 하나님의 책망과 심판을 선포하였다. 그는 금송아지를 숭배하고 이방을 좇음으로 결국 하나님을 떠난 이스라엘의 죄를 책망하면서 이 죄로 인해 전쟁과 하나님의 심판이 있을 것을 선포하고 회개를 촉구하였다. 그리고 이스라엘의 범죄에도 불구하고 하나님께서 그들을 끝까지 사랑하시어 남은 자들을 회복시키신다는 하나님의 약속을 전하였다.
  
  하나님의 책망과 심판(9:1-10:15)    
 
  1. Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for thou hast gone a whoring from thy God, thou hast loved a reward upon every cornfloor.
  2. The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail in her.
  3. They shall not dwell in the LORD's land; but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.
  4. They shall not offer wine offerings to the LORD, neither shall they be pleasing unto him: their sacrifices shall be unto them as the bread of mourners; all that eat thereof shall be polluted: for their bread for their soul shall not come into the house of the LORD.
  5. What will ye do in the solemn day, and in the day of the feast of the LORD?
  1. 이스라엘아 너는 이방 사람처럼 기뻐 뛰놀지 말라 네가 음행하여 네 하나님을 떠나고 각 타작 마당에서 음행의 값을 좋아하였느니라
  2. 타작 마당이나 술틀이 그들을 기르지 못할 것이며 새 포도주도 떨어질 것이요
  3. 그들은 여호와의 땅에 거주하지 못하며 에브라임은 애굽으로 다시 가고 앗수르에서 더러운 것을 먹을 것이니라
  4. 그들은 여호와께 포도주를 부어 드리지 못하며 여호와께서 기뻐하시는 바도 되지 못할 것이라 그들의 제물은 애곡하는 자의 떡과 같아서 그것을 먹는 자는 더러워지나니 그들의 떡은 자기의 먹기에만 소용될 뿐이라 여호와의 집에 드릴 것이 아님이니라
  5. 너희는 명절 날과 여호와의 절기의 날에 무엇을 하겠느냐
  1. For, lo, they are gone because of destruction: Egypt shall gather them up, Memphis shall bury them: the pleasant places for their silver, nettles shall possess them: thorns shall be in their tabernacles.
  2. The days of visitation are come, the days of recompence are come; Israel shall know it: the prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is mad, for the multitude of thine iniquity, and the great hatred.
  3. The watchman of Ephraim was with my God: but the prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.
  4. They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah: therefore he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.
  5. I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her first time: but they went to Baalpeor, and separated themselves unto that shame; and their abominations were according as they loved.
  1. 보라 그들이 멸망을 피하여 갈지라도 애굽은 그들을 모으고 놉은 그들을 장사하리니 그들의 은은 귀한 것이나 찔레가 덮을 것이요 그들의 장막 안에는 가시덩굴이 퍼지리라
  2. 형벌의 날이 이르렀고 보응의 날이 온 것을 이스라엘이 알지라 선지자가 어리석었고 신에 감동하는 자가 미쳤나니 이는 네 죄악이 많고 네 원한이 큼이니라
  3. 에브라임은 나의 하나님과 함께 한 파수꾼이며 선지자는 모든 길에 친 새 잡는 자의 그물과 같고 그의 하나님의 전에는 원한이 있도다
  4. 그들은 기브아의 시대와 같이 심히 부패한지라 여호와께서 그 악을 기억하시고 그 죄를 벌하시리라
  5. 옛적에 내가 이스라엘을 만나기를 광야에서 포도를 만남 같이 하였으며 너희 조상들을 보기를 무화과나무에서 처음 맺힌 첫 열매를 봄 같이 하였거늘 그들이 바알브올에 가서 부끄러운 우상에게 몸을 드림으로 저희가 사랑하는 우상 같이 가증하여졌도다
  1. As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.
  2. Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them, that there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I depart from them!
  3. Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place: but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer.
  4. Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
  5. All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.
  1. 에브라임의 영광이 새 같이 날아 가리니 해산하는 것이나 아이 배는 것이나 임신하는 것이 없으리라
  2. 혹 그들이 자식을 기를지라도 내가 그 자식을 없이하여 한 사람도 남기지 아니할 것이라 내가 그들을 떠나는 때에는 그들에게 화가 미치리로다
  3. 내가 보건대 에브라임은 아름다운 곳에 심긴 두로와 같으나 그 자식들을 살인하는 자에게로 끌어내리로다
  4. 여호와여 그들에게 주소서 무엇을 주시려 하나이까 아이 배지 못하는 태와 젖 없는 유방을 주시옵소서
  5. 그들의 모든 악이 길갈에 있으므로 내가 거기에서 그들을 미워하였노라 그들의 행위가 악하므로 내 집에서 그들을 쫓아내고 다시는 사랑하지 아니하리라 그들의 지도자들은 다 반역한 자니라
  1. Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.
  2. My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.
  1. 에브라임은 매를 맞아 그 뿌리가 말라 열매를 맺지 못하나니 비록 아이를 낳을지라도 내가 그 사랑하는 태의 열매를 죽이리라
  2. 그들이 듣지 아니하므로 내 하나님이 그들을 버리시리니 그들이 여러 나라 가운데에 떠도는 자가 되리라
 
 
  1. Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
  2. Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.
  3. For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?
  4. They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springeth up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.
  5. The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.
  1. 이스라엘은 열매 맺는 무성한 포도나무라 그 열매가 많을수록 제단을 많게 하며 그 땅이 번영할수록 주상을 아름답게 하도다
  2. 그들이 두 마음을 품었으니 이제 벌을 받을 것이라 하나님이 그 제단을 쳐서 깨뜨리시며 그 주상을 허시리라
  3. 그들이 이제 이르기를 우리가 여호와를 두려워하지 아니하므로 우리에게 왕이 없거니와 왕이 우리를 위하여 무엇을 하리요 하리로다
  4. 그들이 헛된 말을 내며 거짓 맹세로 언약을 세우니 그 재판이 밭이랑에 돋는 독초 같으리로다
  5. 사마리아 주민이 벧아웬의 송아지로 말미암아 두려워할 것이라 그 백성이 슬퍼하며 그것을 기뻐하던 제사장들도 슬퍼하리니 이는 그의 영광이 떠나감이며
  1. It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.
  2. As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.
  3. The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.
  4. O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.
  5. It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.
  1. 그 송아지는 앗수르로 옮겨다가 예물로 야렙 왕에게 드리리니 에브라임은 수치를 받을 것이요 이스라엘은 자기들의 계책을 부끄러워할 것이며
  2. 사마리아 왕은 물 위에 있는 거품 같이 멸망할 것이며
  3. 이스라엘의 죄 곧 아웬의 산당은 파괴되어 가시와 찔레가 그 제단 위에 날 것이니 그 때에 그들이 산더러 우리를 가리라 할 것이요 작은 산더러 우리 위에 무너지라 하리라
  4. 이스라엘아 네가 기브아 시대로부터 범죄하더니 지금까지 죄를 짓는구나 그러니 범죄한 자손들에 대한 전쟁이 어찌 기브아에서 일어나지 않겠느냐
  5. 내가 원하는 때에 그들을 징계하리니 그들이 두 가지 죄에 걸릴 때에 만민이 모여서 그들을 치리라
  1. And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.
  2. Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
  3. Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
  4. Therefore shall a tumult arise among thy people, and all thy fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Betharbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children.
  5. So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.
  1. 에브라임은 마치 길들인 암소 같아서 곡식 밟기를 좋아하나 내가 그의 아름다운 목에 멍에를 메우고 에브라임 위에 사람을 태우리니 유다가 밭을 갈고 야곱이 흙덩이를 깨뜨리리라
  2. 너희가 자기를 위하여 공의를 심고 인애를 거두라 너희 묵은 땅을 기경하라 지금이 곧 여호와를 찾을 때니 마침내 여호와께서 오사 공의를 비처럼 너희에게 내리시리라
  3. 너희는 악을 밭 갈아 죄를 거두고 거짓 열매를 먹었나니 이는 네가 네 길과 네 용사의 많음을 의뢰하였음이라
  4. 그러므로 너희 백성 중에 요란함이 일어나며 네 산성들이 다 무너지되 살만이 전쟁의 날에 벧아벨을 무너뜨린 것 같이 될 것이라 그 때에 어머니와 자식이 함께 부서졌도다
  5. 너희의 큰 악으로 말미암아 벧엘이 이같이 너희에게 행하리니 이스라엘 왕이 새벽에 정녕 망하리로다
 
  신실하신 사랑(11:1-11:12)    
 
  1. When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
  2. As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.
  3. I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.
  4. I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.
  5. He shall not return into the land of Egypt, and the Assyrian shall be his king, because they refused to return.
  1. 이스라엘이 어렸을 때에 내가 사랑하여 내 아들을 애굽에서 불러냈거늘
  2. 선지자들이 그들을 부를수록 그들은 점점 멀리하고 바알들에게 제사하며 아로새긴 우상 앞에서 분향하였느니라
  3. 그러나 내가 에브라임에게 걸음을 가르치고 내 팔로 안았음에도 내가 그들을 고치는 줄을 그들은 알지 못하였도다
  4. 내가 사람의 줄 곧 사랑의 줄로 그들을 이끌었고 그들에게 대하여 그 목에서 멍에를 벗기는 자 같이 되었으며 그들 앞에 먹을 것을 두었노라
  5. 그들은 애굽 땅으로 되돌아 가지 못하겠거늘 내게 돌아 오기를 싫어하니 앗수르 사람이 그 임금이 될 것이라
  1. And the sword shall abide on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels.
  2. And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.
  3. How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.
  4. I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee: and I will not enter into the city.
  5. They shall walk after the LORD: he shall roar like a lion: when he shall roar, then the children shall tremble from the west.
  1. 칼이 그들의 성읍들을 치며 빗장을 깨뜨려 없이하리니 이는 그들의 계책으로 말미암음이니라
  2. 내 백성이 끝끝내 내게서 물러가나니 비록 그들을 불러 위에 계신 이에게로 돌아오라 할지라도 일어나는 자가 하나도 없도다
  3. 에브라임이여 내가 어찌 너를 놓겠느냐 이스라엘이여 내가 어찌 너를 버리겠느냐 내가 어찌 너를 아드마 같이 놓겠느냐 어찌 너를 스보임 같이 두겠느냐 내 마음이 내 속에서 돌이키어 나의 긍휼이 온전히 불붙듯 하도다
  4. 내가 나의 맹렬한 진노를 나타내지 아니하며 내가 다시는 에브라임을 멸하지 아니하리니 이는 내가 하나님이요 사람이 아님이라 네 가운데 있는 거룩한 이니 진노함으로 네게 임하지 아니하리라
  5. 그들은 사자처럼 소리를 내시는 여호와를 따를 것이라 여호와께서 소리를 내시면 자손들이 서쪽에서부터 떨며 오되
  1. They shall tremble as a bird out of Egypt, and as a dove out of the land of Assyria: and I will place them in their houses, saith the LORD.
  2. Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.
  1. 그들은 애굽에서부터 새 같이, 앗수르에서부터 비둘기 같이 떨며 오리니 내가 그들을 그들의 집에 머물게 하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
  2. 에브라임은 거짓으로, 이스라엘 족속은 속임수로 나를 에워쌌고 유다는 하나님 곧 신실하시고 거룩하신 자에게 대하여 정함이 없도다
