마태복음 17:22-18:14

 예수께서 두번째로 자신이 수난당하실 것을 말씀하시고, 어린아이와 같은 겸손과 지극히 작은 자에 대한 관심과 사랑을 실천할 것을 교훈하셨다.
  
  두번째 수난 예언(17:22-17:27)    
 
  1. 彼らが ガリラヤ で 集まっていた 時， イエス は 言われた， 「人の 子は 人¿の 手にわたされ，
  2. 彼らに 殺され， そして 三日目によみがえるであろう 」． 弟子たちは 非常に 心をいためた．
  3. 彼らが カペナウム にきたとき， 宮の 納入金を 集める 人たちが ペテロ のところにきて 言った， 「あなたがたの 先生は 宮の 納入金を 納めないのか 」．
  4. ペテロ は「納めておられます 」と 言った． そして 彼が 家にはいると， イエス から 先に 話しかけて 言われた， 「シモン ， あなたはどう 思うか． この 世の 王たちは 稅や 貢をだれから 取るのか． 自分の 子からか， それとも， ほかの 人たちからか 」．
  5. ペテロ が「ほかの 人たちからです 」と 答えると， イエス は 言われた， 「それでは， 子は 納めなくてもよいわけである．
  1. When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men.
  2. They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life." And the disciples were filled with grief.
  3. After Jesus and his disciples arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax came to Peter and asked, "Doesn't your teacher pay the temple tax?"
  4. "Yes, he does," he replied. When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. "What do you think, Simon?" he asked. "From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes--from their own sons or from others?"
  5. "From others," Peter answered. "Then the sons are exempt," Jesus said to him.
  1. しかし， 彼らをつまずかせないために， 海に 行って， つり 針をたれなさい． そして 最初につれた 魚をとって， その 口をあけると， 銀貨一枚が 見つかるであろう． それをとり 出して， わたしとあなたのために 納めなさい 」．
  1. "But so that we may not offend them, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours."
 
  천국에서 가장 큰 자(18:1-18:14)    
 
  1. そのとき， 弟子たちが イエス のもとにきて 言った， 「いったい， 天國ではだれがいちばん 偉いのですか 」．
  2. すると， イエス は 幼な 子を 呼び 寄せ， 彼らのまん 中に 立たせて 言われた，
  3. 「よく 聞きなさい． 心をいれかえて 幼な 子のようにならなければ， 天國にはいることはできないであろう．
  4. この 幼な 子のように 自分を 低くする 者が， 天國でいちばん 偉いのである．
  5. また， だれでも， このようなひとりの 幼な 子を， わたしの 名のゆえに 受けいれる 者は， わたしを 受けいれるのである．
  1. At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"
  2. He called a little child and had him stand among them.
  3. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
  4. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
  5. "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.
  1. しかし， わたしを 信ずるこれらの 小さい 者のひとりをつまずかせる 者は， 大きなひきうすを 首にかけられて 海の 深みに 沈められる 方が， その 人の 益になる．
  2. この 世は， 罪の 誘惑があるから， わざわいである． 罪の 誘惑は 必ず 來る． しかし， それをきたらせる 人は， わざわいである．
  3. もしあなたの 片手または 片足が， 罪を 犯させるなら， それを 切って 捨てなさい． 兩手， 兩足がそろったままで， 永遠の 火に 投げ ¿まれるよりは， 片手， 片足になって 命に 入る 方がよい．
  4. もしあなたの 片目が 罪を 犯させるなら， それを 拔き 出して 捨てなさい． 兩眼がそろったままで 地獄の 火に 投げ 入れられるよりは， 片目になって 命に 入る 方がよい．
  5. あなたがたは， これらの 小さい 者のひとりをも 輕んじないように， 氣をつけなさい． あなたがたに 言うが， 彼らの 御使たちは 天にあって， 天にいますわたしの 父のみ 顔をいつも 仰いでいるのである．
  1. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
  2. "Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!
  3. If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire.
  4. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.
  5. "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.
  1. 〔人の 子は， 滅びる 者を 救うためにきたのである． 〕
  2. あなたがたはどう 思うか． ある 人に 百匹の 羊があり， その 中の 一匹が 迷い 出たとすれば， 九十九匹を 山に 殘しておいて， その 迷い 出ている 羊を 搜しに 出かけないであろうか．
  3. もしそれを 見つけたなら， よく 聞きなさい， 迷わないでいる 九十九匹のためよりも， むしろその 一匹のために 喜ぶであろう．
  4. そのように， これらの 小さい 者のひとりが 滅びることは， 天にいますあなたがたの 父のみこころではない．
  2. "What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?
  3. And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off.
  4. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.
