- 馬は 勝利に 賴みとならない． その 大いなる 力も 人を 助けることはできない．
- 見よ， 主の 目は 主を 恐れる 者の 上にあり， そのいつくしみを 望む 者の 上にある．
- これは 主が 彼らの 魂を 死から 救い， ききんの 時にも 生きながらえさせるためである．
- われらの 魂は 主を 待ち 望む． 主はわれらの 助け， われらの 盾である．
- われらは 主の 聖なるみ 名に 信賴するがゆえに， われらの 心は 主にあって 喜ぶ．

- A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save.
- But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,
- to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.
- We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.
- In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.
