	민수기 3:21-4:33 하나님께서는 고핫 자손들에게 성소의 임무인 증거궤, 떡상, 등대, 분향단과 번제단, 휘장, 성소에서 봉사하는 데 쓰는 기구들을 관리하도록 하셨다. 므라리 자손들은 성막의 널판, 띠, 기둥, 받침, 말뚝과 줄들을 관리하는 임무를 맡았다. 부주의로 지성물을 만지는 자는 하나님께 죽임을 당하였다,

	레위인의 직무(3:21-4:33)

ゲルションからリブニびとの氏族と，シメイびとの氏族とが出た．これらはゲルションびとの氏族である．

その數えられた者，すなわち，一か月以上の男子の數は合わせて七千五百人であった．

ゲルションびとの氏族は幕屋の後方，すなわち，西の方に宿營し，

ラエルの子エリアサフが，ゲルションびとの父祖の家のつかさとなるであろう．

會見の幕屋の，ゲルションの子たちの務は，幕屋，天幕とそのおおい，會見の幕屋の入口のとばり，

To Gershon belonged the clans of the Libnites and Shimeites; these were the Gershonite clans.

The number of all the males a month old or more who were counted was 7,500.

The Gershonite clans were to camp on the west, behind the tabernacle.

The leader of the families of the Gershonites was Eliasaph son of Lael.

At the Tent of Meeting the Gershonites were responsible for the care of the tabernacle and tent, its coverings, the curtain at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,

庭のあげばり，幕屋と祭壇のまわりの庭の入口のとばり，そのひも，およびすべてそれに用いる物を守ることである．

また，コハテからアムラムびとの氏族，イヅハルびとの氏族，ヘブロンびとの氏族，ウジエルびとの氏族が出た．これらはコハテびとの氏族である．

一か月以上の男子の數は，合わせて八千六百人であって，聖所の務を守る者たちである．

コハテの子たちの氏族は，幕屋の南の方に宿營し，

ウジエルの子エリザパンが，コハテびとの氏族の父祖の家のつかさとなるであろう．

the curtains of the courtyard, the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard surrounding the tabernacle and altar, and the ropes--and everything related to their use.

To Kohath belonged the clans of the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites and Uzzielites; these were the Kohathite clans.

The number of all the males a month old or more was 8,600. The Kohathites were responsible for the care of the sanctuary.

The Kohathite clans were to camp on the south side of the tabernacle.

The leader of the families of the Kohathite clans was Elizaphan son of Uzziel.

彼らの務は，契約の箱，机，燭台，二つの祭壇，聖所の務に用いる器，とばり，およびすべてそれに用いる物を守ることである．

祭司アロンの子エレアザルが，レビびとのつかさたちの長となり，聖所の務を守るものたちを監督するであろう．

メラリからマヘリびとの氏族と，ムシびとの氏族とが出た．これらはメラリの氏族である．

その數えられた者，すなわち，一か月以上の男子の數は，合わせて六千二百人であった．

アビハイルの子ツリエルが，メラリの氏族の父祖の家のつかさとなるであろう．彼らは幕屋の北の方に宿營しなければならない．

They were responsible for the care of the ark, the table, the lampstand, the altars, the articles of the sanctuary used in ministering, the curtain, and everything related to their use.

The chief leader of the Levites was Eleazar son of Aaron, the priest. He was appointed over those who were responsible for the care of the sanctuary.

To Merari belonged the clans of the Mahlites and the Mushites; these were the Merarite clans.

The number of all the males a month old or more who were counted was 6,200.

The leader of the families of the Merarite clans was Zuriel son of Abihail; they were to camp on the north side of the tabernacle.

メラリの子たちが，その務として管理すべきものは，幕屋の ¿，その橫木，その柱，その座，そのすべての器，およびそれに用いるすべての物，

ならびに庭のまわりの柱とその座，その釘，およびそのひもである．

The Merarites were appointed to take care of the frames of the tabernacle, its crossbars, posts, bases, all its equipment, and everything related to their use,

as well as the posts of the surrounding courtyard with their bases, tent pegs and ropes.

Moses and Aaron and his sons were to camp to the east of the tabernacle, toward the sunrise, in front of the Tent of Meeting. They were responsible for the care of the sanctuary on behalf of the Israelites. Anyone else who approached the sanctuary was to be put to death.

The total number of Levites counted at the LORD's command by Moses and Aaron according to their clans, including every male a month old or more, was 22,000.

The LORD said to Moses, "Count all the firstborn Israelite males who are a month old or more and make a list of their names.

また主なるわたしのために，イスラエルの人¿のうちの，すべてのういごの代りにレビびとを取り，またイスラエルの人¿の家畜のうちの，すべてのういごの代りに，レビびとの家畜を取りなさい」．

そこでモ ― セは主の命じられたように，イスラエルの人¿のうちの，すべてのういごを數えた．

その數えられたういごの男子，すべて一か月以上の者は，その名の數によると二万二千二百七十三人であった．

主はモ ― セに言われた，

「あなたはイスラエルの人¿のうちの，すべてのういごの代りに，レビびとを取り，また彼らの家畜の代りに，レビびとの家畜を取りなさい．レビびとはわたしのものとなる．わたしは主である．

Take the Levites for me in place of all the firstborn of the Israelites, and the livestock of the Levites in place of all the firstborn of the livestock of the Israelites. I am the LORD."

So Moses counted all the firstborn of the Israelites, as the LORD commanded him.

The total number of firstborn males a month old or more, listed by name, was 22,273.

The LORD also said to Moses,

"Take the Levites in place of all the firstborn of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites in place of their livestock. The Levites are to be mine. I am the LORD.

またイスラエルの人¿のういごは，レビびとの數を二百七十三人超過しているから，そのあがないのために，

そのあたまかずによって，ひとりごとに銀五シケルを取らなければならない．すなわち，聖所のシケルにしたがって，それを取らなければならない．一シケルは二十ゲラである．

あなたは，その超過した者をあがなう金を，アロンと，その子たちに渡さなければならない」．

そこでモ ― セは，レビびとによってあがなわれた者を超過した人¿から，あがないの金を取った．

すなわち，モ ― セは，イスラエルの人¿のういごから，聖所のシケルにしたがって千三百六十五シケルの銀を取り，

To redeem the 273 firstborn Israelites who exceed the number of the Levites,

collect five shekels for each one, according to the sanctuary shekel, which weighs twenty gerahs.

Give the money for the redemption of the additional Israelites to Aaron and his sons."

So Moses collected the redemption money from those who exceeded the number redeemed by the Levites.

From the firstborn of the Israelites he collected silver weighing 1,365 shekels, according to the sanctuary shekel.

そのあがないの金を，主の言葉にしたがって，アロンとその子たちに渡した．主がモ ― セに命じられたとおりである．

Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and his sons, as he was commanded by the word of the LORD.

主はまたモ ― セとアロンに言われた，

「レビの子たちのうちから，コハテの子たちの總數を，その氏族により，その父祖の家にしたがって調べ，

三十歲以上五十歲以下で，務につき，會見の幕屋で ¿くことのできる者を，ことごとく數えなさい．

コハテの子たちの，會見の幕屋の務は，いと聖なる物にかかわるものであって，次のとおりである．

すなわち，宿營の進む時に，アロンとその子たちとは，まず，はいって，隔ての垂幕を取りおろし，それをもって，あかしの箱をおおい，

The LORD said to Moses and Aaron:

"Take a census of the Kohathite branch of the Levites by their clans and families.

Count all the men from thirty to fifty years of age who come to serve in the work in the Tent of Meeting.

"This is the work of the Kohathites in the Tent of Meeting: the care of the most holy things.

When the camp is to move, Aaron and his sons are to go in and take down the shielding curtain and cover the ark of the Testimony with it.

その上に，じゅごんの皮のおおいを施し，またその上に總靑色の布をうちかけ，環にさおをさし入れる．

また供えのパンの机の上には，靑色の布をうちかけ，その上に，さら，乳香を盛る杯，鉢，および灌祭の甁を ¿べ，また絶やさず供えるパンを置き，

緋色の布をその上にうちかけ，じゅごんの皮のおおいをもって，これをおおい，さおをさし入れる．

また靑色の布を取って，燭台とそのともし火ざら，芯切りばさみ，芯取りざら，およびそれに用いるもろもろの油の器をおおい，

じゅごんの皮のおおいのうちに，燭台とそのもろもろの器をいれて，擔架に載せる．

Then they are to cover this with hides of sea cows, spread a cloth of solid blue over that and put the poles in place.

"Over the table of the Presence they are to spread a blue cloth and put on it the plates, dishes and bowls, and the jars for drink offerings; the bread that is continually there is to remain on it.

Over these they are to spread a scarlet cloth, cover that with hides of sea cows and put its poles in place.

"They are to take a blue cloth and cover the lampstand that is for light, together with its lamps, its wick trimmers and trays, and all its jars for the oil used to supply it.

Then they are to wrap it and all its accessories in a covering of hides of sea cows and put it on a carrying frame.

また，金の祭壇の上に靑色の布をうちかけ，じゅごんの皮のおおいで，これをおおい，そのさおをさし入れる．

また聖所の務に用いる務の器をみな取り，靑色の布に包み，じゅごんの皮のおおいで，これをおおって，擔架に載せる．

また祭壇の灰を取り去って，紫の布をその祭壇の上にうちかけ，

その上に，務をするのに用いるもろもろの器，すなわち，火ざら，肉さし，十能，鉢，および祭壇のすべての器を載せ，またその上に，じゅごんの皮のおおいをうちかけ，そしてさおをさし入れる．

宿營の進むとき，アロンとその子たちとが，聖所と聖所のすべての器をおおうことを終ったならば，その後コハテの子たちは，それを運ぶために，はいってこなければならない．しかし，彼らは聖なる物に觸れてはならない．觸れると死ぬであろう．會見の幕屋のうちの，これらの物は，コハテの子たちが運ぶものである．

"Over the gold altar they are to spread a blue cloth and cover that with hides of sea cows and put its poles in place.

"They are to take all the articles used for ministering in the sanctuary, wrap them in a blue cloth, cover that with hides of sea cows and put them on a carrying frame.

"They are to remove the ashes from the bronze altar and spread a purple cloth over it.

Then they are to place on it all the utensils used for ministering at the altar, including the firepans, meat forks, shovels and sprinkling bowls. Over it they are to spread a covering of hides of sea cows and put its poles in place.

"After Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy furnishings and all the holy articles, and when the camp is ready to move, the Kohathites are to come to do the carrying. But they must not touch the holy things or they will die. The Kohathites are to carry those things that are in the Tent of Meeting.

祭司アロンの子エレアザルは，ともし油，香ばしい薰香，絶やさず供える素祭および注ぎ油をつかさどり，また幕屋の全體と，そのうちにあるすべての聖なる物，およびその所のもろもろの器をつかさどらなければならない」．

主はまた，モ ― セとアロンに言われた，

「あなたがたはコハテびとの一族を，レビびとのうちから絶えさせてはならない．

The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,

"See that the Kohathite tribal clans are not cut off from the Levites.

So that they may live and not die when they come near the most holy things, do this for them: Aaron and his sons are to go into the sanctuary and assign to each man his work and what he is to carry.

But the Kohathites must not go in to look at the holy things, even for a moment, or they will die."

主はまたモ ― セに言われた，

「あなたはまたゲルションの子たちの總數を，その父祖の家により，その氏族にしたがって調べ，

三十歲以上五十歲以下で，務につき，會見の幕屋で ¿くことのできる者を，ことごとく數えなさい．

ゲルションびとの氏族の務として ¿くことと，運ぶ物とは次のとおりである．

すなわち，彼らは幕屋の幕，會見の幕屋およびそのおおいと，その上のじゅごんの皮のおおい，ならびに會見の幕屋の入口のとばりを運び，

The LORD said to Moses,

"Take a census also of the Gershonites by their families and clans.

Count all the men from thirty to fifty years of age who come to serve in the work at the Tent of Meeting.

"This is the service of the Gershonite clans as they work and carry burdens:

They are to carry the curtains of the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, its covering and the outer covering of hides of sea cows, the curtains for the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,

また庭のあげばり，および幕屋と祭壇のまわりの庭の門の入口のとばりと，そのひも，ならびにそれに用いるすべての器を運ばなければならない．そして彼らはすべてこれらのものについての ¿きをしなければならない．

ゲルションびとの子たちのすべての務，すなわち，その運ぶことと， ¿くこととは，すべてアロンとその子たちの命に從わなければならない．あなたがたは彼らにすべてその運ぶべき物を定めて，これを守らせなければならない．

the curtains of the courtyard surrounding the tabernacle and altar, the curtain for the entrance, the ropes and all the equipment used in its service. The Gershonites are to do all that needs to be done with these things.

All their service, whether carrying or doing other work, is to be done under the direction of Aaron and his sons. You shall assign to them as their responsibility all they are to carry.

This is the service of the Gershonite clans at the Tent of Meeting. Their duties are to be under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest.

"Count the Merarites by their clans and families.

Count all the men from thirty to fifty years of age who come to serve in the work at the Tent of Meeting.

彼らが會見の幕屋でするすべての務にしたがって，その運ぶ責任のある物は次のとおりである．すなわち，幕屋の ¿，その橫木，その柱，その座，

庭のまわりの柱，その座，その釘，そのひも，またそのすべての器，およびそれに用いるすべてのものである．あなたがたは彼らが運ぶ責任のある器を，その名によって割り當てなければならない．

This is their duty as they perform service at the Tent of Meeting: to carry the frames of the tabernacle, its crossbars, posts and bases,

as well as the posts of the surrounding courtyard with their bases, tent pegs, ropes, all their equipment and everything related to their use. Assign to each man the specific things he is to carry.

This is the service of the Merarite clans as they work at the Tent of Meeting under the direction of Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest."
