여호수아 19:17-21:26

 아직 기업을 받지 못한 잇사갈, 아셀, 납달리, 단 지파에게 기업을 분배하고 마지막으로 여호수아가 기업을 분배받음으로 영토 분배를 마쳤다. 여호수아는 하나님께서 지시하신 대로 도피성을 요단 동편에 세 곳, 요단 서편에 세 곳을 선정했다. 그리고 기업을 분배받지 못한 레위 자손들에게는 각 지파의 기업 중에서 48성읍을 주어 그 곳에서 살게 하였다.
  
  나머지 지파의 땅(19:17-19:51)    
 
  1. 第四に イッサカル ， すなわち イッサカル の 子孫のために， その 家族にしたがって， くじを 引いた．
  2. その 領域には， エズレル ， ケスロテ ， シュネム ，
  3. ハパライム ， シオン ， アナハラテ ，
  4. ラビテ ， キション ， エベツ ，
  5. レメテ ， エンガンニム ， エンハダ ， ベテパッゼズ があり，
  1. The fourth lot came out for Issachar, clan by clan.
  2. Their territory included: Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,
  3. Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
  4. Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,
  5. Remeth, En Gannim, En Haddah and Beth Pazzez.
  1. その 境は タボル ， シャハヂマ ， ベテシメシ に 達し， その 境は ヨルダン に 至って 盡きる． 十六の 町¿と， それに 屬する 村¿があった．
  2. これが イッサカル の 子孫の 部族の， その 家族にしたがって 獲た 嗣業であって， その 町¿と， それに 屬する 村¿とである．

  1. The boundary touched Tabor, Shahazumah and Beth Shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. There were sixteen towns and their villages.
  2. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Issachar, clan by clan.
  3. The fifth lot came out for the tribe of Asher, clan by clan.
  4. Their territory included: Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,
  5. Allammelech, Amad and Mishal. On the west the boundary touched Carmel and Shihor Libnath.
  1. それから 東に 折れて， ベテダゴン に 至り， 北の 方 ゼブルン と， イプタエル の 谷に 達し， ベテエメク および ネイエル に 至り， 北は カブル にいで，
  2. 更に エブロン ， レホブ ， ハンモン ， カナ を 經て， 大 シドン に 及び，

  1. It then turned east toward Beth Dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah El, and went north to Beth Emek and Neiel, passing Cabul on the left.
  2. It went to Abdon, Rehob, Hammon and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.
  3. The boundary then turned back toward Ramah and went to the fortified city of Tyre, turned toward Hosah and came out at the sea in the region of Aczib,
  4. Ummah, Aphek and Rehob. There were twenty-two towns and their villages.
  5. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Asher, clan by clan.
  1. 第六に， ナフタリ の 子孫のために， その 家族にしたがって， くじを 引いた．
  2. その 境は ヘレフ から， すなわち ザアナニイム のかしの 木から 起り， アダミ · ネケブ および， ヤブネル を 經て， ラクム に 至り， ヨルダン に 至って 盡きる．
  3. そしてその 境は 西に 向かって， アズノテ · タボル に 至り， そこから ホッコク に 出る． 南は ゼブルン に 接し， 西は アセル に 接し， 東は ヨルダン の ユダ に 達する．

  1. The sixth lot came out for Naphtali, clan by clan:
  2. Their boundary went from Heleph and the large tree in Zaanannim, passing Adami Nekeb and Jabneel to Lakkum and ending at the Jordan.
  3. The boundary ran west through Aznoth Tabor and came out at Hukkok. It touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west and the Jordan on the east.
  4. The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,
  5. Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
  1. ケデシ ， エデレイ ， エンハゾル ，
  2. イロン ， ミグダルエル ， ホレム ， ベテアナテ ， ベテシメシ などで， 十九の 町¿と， それに 屬する 村¿があった．

  1. Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor,
  2. Iron, Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath and Beth Shemesh. There were nineteen towns and their villages.
  3. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Naphtali, clan by clan.
  4. The seventh lot came out for the tribe of Dan, clan by clan.
  5. The territory of their inheritance included: Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir Shemesh,
  1. シャラビム ， アヤロン ， イテラ ，
  2. エロン ， テムナ ， エクロン ，
  3. エルテケ ， ギベトン ， バアラテ ，
  4. エホデ ， ベネベラク ， ガテリンモン ，
  5. メヤルコン ， ラッコン ， および ヨッパ と 相對する 地域があった．
  1. Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,
  2. Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
  3. Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,
  4. Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon,
  5. Me Jarkon and Rakkon, with the area facing Joppa.
  1. ただし， ダン の 子孫の 領域は， 彼らのために 小さかったので， ダン の 子孫は， 上って 行き， レセム を 攻めてそれを 取り， つるぎにかけて 擊ち 滅ぼし， それを 獲てそこに 住み， 先祖 ダン の 名にしたがって， レセム を ダン と 名づけた．
  2. これが ダン の 子孫の 部族の， その 家族にしたがって 獲た 嗣業であって， その 町¿と， それに 屬する 村¿とである．
  3. こうして 國の 各地域を 嗣業として 分け 與えることを 終ったとき， イスラエル の 人¿は， 自分たちのうちに， 一つの 嗣業を， ヌン の 子 ヨシュア に 與えた．

  1. (But the Danites had difficulty taking possession of their territory, so they went up and attacked Leshem, took it, put it to the sword and occupied it. They settled in Leshem and named it Dan after their forefather.)
  2. These towns and their villages were the inheritance of the tribe of Dan, clan by clan.
  3. When they had finished dividing the land into its allotted portions, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them,
  4. as the LORD had commanded. They gave him the town he asked for--Timnath Serah in the hill country of Ephraim. And he built up the town and settled there.
  5. These are the territories that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun and the heads of the tribal clans of Israel assigned by lot at Shiloh in the presence of the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. And so they finished dividing the land.
 
  도피성(20:1-20:9)    
 
  1. そこで 主は ヨシュア に 言われた，
  2. 「イスラエル の 人¿に 言いなさい， 『先にわたしが モ ― セ によって 言っておいた， のがれの 町を 選び 定め，
  3. あやまって， 知らずに 人を 殺した 者を， そこへのがれさせなさい． これはあなたがたが， あだを 討つ 者をさけて， のがれる 場所となるでしょう．
  4. その 人は， これらの 町の 一つにのがれて 行って， 町の 門の 入口に 立ち， その 町の 長老たちに， そのわけを 述べなければならない． そうすれば， 彼らはその 人を 町に 受け 入れて， 場所を 與え， 共に 住ませるであろう．
  5. たとい， あだを 討つ 者が 追ってきても， 人を 殺したその 者を， その 手に 渡してはならない． 彼はあやまって 隣人を 殺したのであって， もとからそれを 憎んでいたのではないからである．
  1. Then the LORD said to Joshua:
  2. "Tell the Israelites to designate the cities of refuge, as I instructed you through Moses,
  3. so that anyone who kills a person accidentally and unintentionally may flee there and find protection from the avenger of blood.
  4. "When he flees to one of these cities, he is to stand in the entrance of the city gate and state his case before the elders of that city. Then they are to admit him into their city and give him a place to live with them.
  5. If the avenger of blood pursues him, they must not surrender the one accused, because he killed his neighbor unintentionally and without malice aforethought.
  1. その 人は， 會衆の 前に 立って， さばきを 受けるまで， あるいはその 時の 大祭司が 死ぬまで， その 町に 住まなければならない． そして 後， 彼は 自分の 町， 自分の 家に 歸って 行って， 逃げ 出してきたその 町に 住むことができる 』」．
  2. そこで， ナフタリ の 山地にある ガリラヤ の ケデシ ， エフライム の 山地にある シケム ， および ユダ の 山地にある キリアテ · アルバ すなわち ヘブロン を， これがために 選び 分かち，

  1. He is to stay in that city until he has stood trial before the assembly and until the death of the high priest who is serving at that time. Then he may go back to his own home in the town from which he fled."
  2. So they set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron) in the hill country of Judah.
  3. On the east side of the Jordan of Jericho they designated Bezer in the desert on the plateau in the tribe of Reuben, Ramoth in Gilead in the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan in the tribe of Manasseh.
  4. Any of the Israelites or any alien living among them who killed someone accidentally could flee to these designated cities and not be killed by the avenger of blood prior to standing trial before the assembly.
 
  레위 지파의 성읍(21:1-21:26)    
 
  1. 時に レビ の 族長たちは， 祭司 エレアザル ， ヌン の 子 ヨシュア および イスラエル の 部族の 族長たちのもとにきて，
  2. カナン の 地の シロ で 彼らに 言った， 「主はかつて， われわれに 住むべき 町¿を 與えることと， それに 屬する 放牧地を， 家畜のために 與えることを， モ ― セ によって 命じられました 」．
  3. それで イスラエル の 人¿は， 主の 命にしたがって， 自分たちの 嗣業のうちから， 次の 町¿と， その 放牧地とを， レビ びとに 與えた．

  1. Now the family heads of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the other tribal families of Israel
  2. at Shiloh in Canaan and said to them, "The LORD commanded through Moses that you give us towns to live in, with pasturelands for our livestock."
  3. So, as the LORD had commanded, the Israelites gave the Levites the following towns and pasturelands out of their own inheritance:
  4. The first lot came out for the Kohathites, clan by clan. The Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon and Benjamin.
  5. The rest of Kohath's descendants were allotted ten towns from the clans of the tribes of Ephraim, Dan and half of Manasseh.
  1. また ゲルション びとは， くじによって， イッサカル の 部族の 氏族， アセル の 部族， ナフタリ の 部族， および バシャン にある マナセ の 半部族のうちから， 十三の 町を 獲た．
  2. また メラリ びとは， その 氏族にしたがって， ルベン の 部族， ガド の 部族， および ゼブルン の 部族のうちから， 十二の 町を 獲た．

  1. The descendants of Gershon were allotted thirteen towns from the clans of the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali and the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
  2. The descendants of Merari, clan by clan, received twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad and Zebulun.
  3. So the Israelites allotted to the Levites these towns and their pasturelands, as the LORD had commanded through Moses.
  4. From the tribes of Judah and Simeon they allotted the following towns by name
  5. (these towns were assigned to the descendants of Aaron who were from the Kohathite clans of the Levites, because the first lot fell to them):
  1. すなわち ユダ の 山地にある キリアテ · アルバ すなわち ヘブロン およびその 周圍の 放牧地を 彼らに 與えた． この アルバ は アナク の 父であった．

  1. They gave them Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron), with its surrounding pastureland, in the hill country of Judah. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)
  2. But the fields and villages around the city they had given to Caleb son of Jephunneh as his possession.
  3. So to the descendants of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron (a city of refuge for one accused of murder), Libnah,
  4. Jattir, Eshtemoa,
  5. Holon, Debir,
  1. アイン とその 放牧地， ユッタ とその 放牧地， ベテシメシ とその 放牧地など， 九つの 町であって， この 二つの 部族のうちから 分け 與えたものである．
  2. また ベニヤミン の 部族のうちから， ギベオン とその 放牧地， ゲバ とその 放牧地，
  3. アナトテ とその 放牧地， アルモン とその 放牧地など， 四つの 町を 與えた．
  4. アロン の 子孫である 祭司たちの 町は， 合わせて 十三であって， それに 屬する 放牧地があった．

  1. Ain, Juttah and Beth Shemesh, together with their pasturelands--nine towns from these two tribes.
  2. And from the tribe of Benjamin they gave them Gibeon, Geba,
  3. Anathoth and Almon, together with their pasturelands--four towns.
  4. All the towns for the priests, the descendants of Aaron, were thirteen, together with their pasturelands.
  5. The rest of the Kohathite clans of the Levites were allotted towns from the tribe of Ephraim:
  1. すなわち， その 町は， 人を 殺したものの， のがれる 町である エフライム の 山地の シケム とその 放牧地， ゲゼル とその 放牧地，
  2. キブザイム とその 放牧地， ベテホロン とその 放牧地など， 四つの 町である．
  3. また ダン の 部族のうちから 分け 與えた 町は， エルテケ とその 放牧地， ギベトン とその 放牧地，
  4. アヤロン とその 放牧地， ガテリンモン とその 放牧地など， 四つの 町である．
  5. また マナセ の 半部族のうちから 分け 與えた 町は， タアナク とその 放牧地， および ガテリンモン とその 放牧地など， 二つの 町である．
  1. In the hill country of Ephraim they were given Shechem (a city of refuge for one accused of murder) and Gezer,
  2. Kibzaim and Beth Horon, together with their pasturelands--four towns.
  3. Also from the tribe of Dan they received Eltekeh, Gibbethon,
  4. Aijalon and Gath Rimmon, together with their pasturelands--four towns.
  5. From half the tribe of Manasseh they received Taanach and Gath Rimmon, together with their pasturelands--two towns.
  1. その 他の コハテ びとの 氏族の 町は， 合わせて 十であって， それに 屬する 放牧地があった．
  1. All these ten towns and their pasturelands were given to the rest of the Kohathite clans.
