- 主が 基をすえられた 都は 聖なる 山の 上に 立つ．
- 主は ヤコブ のすべてのすまいにまさって， シオン のもろもろの 門を 愛される．
- 神の 都よ， あなたについて， もろもろの 榮光ある 事が 語られる． 〔セラ
- わたしは ラハブ と バビロン を ／わたしを 知る 者のうちに 擧げる． ペリシテ ， ツロ ， また エチオピヤ を 見よ． 「この 者はかしこに 生れた 」と 言われる．
- しかし シオン については「／この 者も， かの 者もその 中に 生れた 」と 言われる． いと 高き 者みずから シオン を ／堅く 立てられるからである．

- Indeed, of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her."
